"Not sure why there are so many awful reviews, I guess rich people are quite picky. We stopped in for dinner and were not disappointed. Although we didn’t have reservations, we were able to get right in just before the rush. We got a table by the bar and our server had been working there only two days but he was an absolute delight. We ordered the mussels and corn chowder for our apps both of which were phenomenal. We were served fresh-baked bread with these which only added to our delight. Amazing food, fast courtesy service. We told the waitress that we tried to make a movie, and she was fast, without being rude or influencing the wonderful service! She proposed the swordfish special and was absolutely right! Yum!

Loved our meal at the Whip. We got the daily specials and were so happy we did! Absolutely delicious! (The Flounder stuffed with crab; The Duck and butter whipped potatoes) It was a homey Sunday night dinner elevated! Spent 5 days in Stowe and this was our favourite meal of the week. Our server Linda was wonderful! Make a reservation to guarantee yourself a table!

Was in Stowe for a work conference and came over this place. What a big expedition. Our server was pleasant, attentive and made some good recommendations. We had apps, entrees and desserts, and everything was excellent. Hands down one of the best fishmeals I've had for a long time. My colleagues also enjoyed their meals. I recommend the New England Corn Chowder (yes, corn not clam). The maple buffalo wings were also really good.
