"Breakfast was great today. We had a party of 6 and tried egg breakfasts a few different ways, the Huey, French toast, mash, beignets and everything was great. Carol Ann was great as well! This is a Gem ! A real restaurant with real home cooked food! A Lovely lady named Brenda, the owner, has created a warm and welcoming space to get off the road and enjoy a home cooked meal in a friendly atmosphere. Our server, Miss Carol Jean, is both friendly and attentive to her patrons. The food is great and cooked to order. We had breakfast. I highly recommend Up a Creek Cafe! "I discovered this by google it. I drove right by and thought it was a house near florida caverns state park. It was down the hill .The restaurant needs large sign out near the road so travelers know it a restaurant. We ordered hamburgers and it was delicious. Perfect seasoning and price was great for a nice size hamburgers. The service was slow and once we received our order we couldn?t find our server. We had to go and look for her to get our drinks refill. But the food made up for the slow service. Definitely will return here if I ever pass by here again."

"Excellent fresh food for a great price! We arrived around 2:25pm and barely made the lunch special cut off of 2:30pm without issue. The price was significantly cheaper on the lunch menu. We did observe people who came after us had much larger portions hence the price difference. Just keep that in mind. We were satisfied with our lunch portion price. The staff was very friendly and we received our food quickly. I enjoyed the green tea as well. The outside wasn't much to look at but the inside was nicely decorated and maintained."

"Love, love this place! Large espresso speciality, a salted caramel mocha latte on ice. Also the most creative smoothie! A soft serving in a rotating taste, with a bunch of fresh fruits, then mix it with your choice whole milk, almond or sprite. The atmosphere was like a Artsy coffee reception with meeting rooms and an outdoor seating veranda. A mission-based philanthropic purpose, my college student Barista had amazing energy, delighted to welcome me again... And they have a reward program. I went out and called this a perfect detour from I-10. Open after lunch on a Sunday slingin' large espresso and sweet frosty treats. I'm coming back... oh, so many goals are going straight to this jewel in Marianna, FL... An unforgettable family activity!"

"We were from I-10 at the top to Birmingham AL and looking for something local and southern. That came to our search. We both had the Fried Ribs. OMG! Deep fried ribs for which we shall kill! You have to want hot and greasy! You were great. Can stop on the way back and try her fried chicken. Definitely would recommend if you are in the mood for deep-fried southern kitchen. Small space, but outside seats when it is overcrowded. Most customers seemed to be local and to go to orders, so we sat inside. Everyone was super friendly and attentive."
