"Thank goodness this place is AWESOME because not only is it the best place around, it’s the *only* vegan restaurant around.Went there with my parents, who are lifelong meat-eaters – and even they were pleased and offered to eat there again.The staffer is friendly quick, and the atmosphere is nice quiet. His smoothies are affordable for the ingredients labor needed to produce them, and they are refreshing.The Spicy Roll (vegan prawn) was very realistic, and came with wonderfully complementary light condiments/dressings on top, and it was good size portion for a sushi roll as well.The vegan cheesesteak also hits the spot. Dumplings were amazing. (Nice to finally be able to partake in dumpling...

I was here with a group of 5 people, and we had a very positive experience. The meals were fresh, nicely seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: The menu choices were varied and wonderful. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and, I believe, vegan. I am neither, but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!

The Vegan Tree in Matawan NJ has been around for maybe 8 years or so. This is the first time I am trying it because a lot of their menu has soy protein, which I don't always eat. Had the BLT wrap with avocados, which was very fresh and full of tasty flavor. The only issue for me is that most items are $13 or more, which makes it a bit costly. Overall the food was good.Dietary restrictions: Vegan n a few gluten free options

Pretty good food! Staff was super nice and attentive, came to us immediately. The spot itself was right next to a smoke shop so it smelt weird inside there and wasnt pleasant, but i got used to it. We tried the falafel sub and the crispy rolls and they were pretty good! Felt that these particular items are not unique so i cant speak much on that, but i look forward to trying other (specifically more pan asian) food from here!
