"After we have just finished a tour through the Maulbronn Monastery, where we learned about the Swabian maul bags or little God cheese, we have been looking for some who are trying. the legendary says that, although the chistercian orders were forbidden to eat meat, at a point some chop meat was delivered to the closter and feared wasted, the cook mixed it with greens and seasoned and fill pasta bags with. the first restaurant we chose made them. they were served in warm broth and the dish we enjoyed in the scheffelhof was delicious. the gracious owner told us that they were the recipe of his mother. the restaurant was very clean, service excellent and we felt happy to have found this charming restaurant."

"We had 4 people in the restaurant on 04. December 2022 the Emfpang was friendly, the service staff was very nice.... After 1.5 hours our food came and we were more than disappointed the meat we had ordered in English was more than through shoe sole technology it would have been ok, but we did not want to run on it, but food in the fish was an approx. 10 cm bright hair, we have directly with the plate approx. 5 min complained. later the same fish came on the same plate. The cheeses consisted of about 90 cream, you could only guess the cheese. No visual hui, the rest unfortunately pfui."

The two beautiful mouthbags filled with two different fillings swimming in a broth and taste very delicious. The sausage salad is finely cut, made of meat cheese and blood sausage strips in a vinegar oil marinade and is served in a wake-up glass. The marinade is true and has a good taste. The bread is a little too dry. There is no bill in the beer garden. It's only paid cash. Conclusion There is no more beautiful place than the Klosterhof of Maulbronn at noon, snorkelless, classic-schwäbisch, cozy to eat"

"Organisatorisch ganz schlecht! Martinsgans Essen fiel auf meinen runden Geburtstag, habe telefonisch für 10 Personen reserviert. Ein älterer Herr am Telefon bestätige die Reservierung. Dort angekommen, mussten wir erfahren, dass nichts reserviert war. Große Enttäuschung am Geburtstag! Und vor allem: wohin zum Essen mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen?! Ist zwar schon ein paar Jahre her, aber trotzdem danke für nichts!"
