"One of my favorite places to eat. Food is always delicious. Servers are always friendly. So why the 3 stars. This is on the owner. Today was the first time I ever got takeout pizza.I also got mussels. I got home and looked at the bill. 1charge for the pizza. 1 charge for the mussels. Then something I never saw 1 fee for the takeout box. Things are getting crazy with prices but this takes it to another level. He should be ashamed of himself. I should give him a bill for my gas to get there."

Delicious Italian food…. Very generous portions and very fair prices. The staff was also very nice and we had great service as well. Will be our “ go to” for Italian food for the shore area. Worth the short drive off shore.

A friendly atmosphere I would try again the menu was small because of the holidays the food was decent at best. The reason, why I give them a low rating I ordered a well-done burger they gave me a raw burger, with two thick slices of tomatoes and a lettuce leaf bigger than the burger itself.

I have always loved Ventura's food. Prices have always been a little high, but you get a lot of food normally. Definitely has changed. We all ordered pasta dishes, and the dishes aren't served with a salad anymore. The portions are much smaller, too, but still delicious. I am surprised they don't charge for pizza bread and rolls. The servers need some personality too. I think I will stick to happy hour much more friendly atmosphere. And do takeout!
