"Stayed in the hotel 5 nights and ate in the restaurant on two evenings. Food was beautifully presented and quite delicious. Grilled aubergines were accompanied by an explosion of flavours from lentil, quinoa, onion bhaji, samosa, mint yogurt and pomegranate. Surprisingly very filling! Both meals preceded by an amuse bouche. Owner chef does a great job in and out of the kitchen. Our two most expensive meals while in Meiringen and easily the best. This restaurant would be up with the best in any UK City including London."

Unser dritter Abend hier. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl. Essen top, Zimmer schön, kompetent, freundlich. Was wollen wir mehr!!!

Very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! We went for lunch and had the beef tartare, mixed salad and spätzle. All were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Atmosphere was a little lacklustre for a Saturday lunch, but if you’re passing then it’s an excellent option. CHF94 for two (no alcohol) which is a bit on the expensive side but the quality was very good so we felt worth it.
