"On Thursday, June 8, 2023, I attended a local concert at Voodoo Brewing in Homestead, PA. The performance space was very small and uncomfortably loud for anyone's ears. However, what truly shocked me was the bill when I went to pay! I ordered three draft beers, their version of a West Coast IPA, served in a plastic cup that wasn't even filled to the top. The total for these three mediocre drinks came to $32.79 – not including tip! When the bartender handed me my check, I couldn't believe it and said, "But I only had three cups of beer?!?" It's a lively spot with a great atmosphere. However, the kitchen always seems to be closed. They do host some fantastic events, though. Plus, they offer the $10 Good Vibes beer—how wild is that?

We couldn’t find any food at the place we intended to go, as the garage doors were closed. So, we decided to check out Golden Age Beer Co. instead. They had everything we were looking for—lots of patrons, delicious food, and live music. Here are my ratings: Food: 1, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 3.

I love this restaurant, but unfortunately, it is currently closed. I reached out to the owners, and it's uncertain whether this closure is temporary or permanent. I really hope it's just temporary, but given the high costs and limited availability of labor these days, I'm definitely concerned. The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, the entertainment was enjoyable, and, most importantly, the beer was fantastic. This place was a wonderful asset to Homestead, and I truly hope they return. Food rating: 5.
