It makes fun to sit under the shaded chestnut trees in the Arabian beer garden and strengthen yourself with good Hessian dishes. The menu is smaller than kept in front of the pandemic, but offers something for every taste. Excellent, grounded kitchen with tasty, very well prepared hessian dishes, tidy portions! My table top with roast potatoes and green sauce left nothing to be desired, the strawberry parfait delicious! The highlight is undoubtedly the green sauce, one of the best in Frankfurt. Great location in the forest. Delicious, tasty carving. Fantastic, fresh green sauce for the Frankfurter Schnitzel. Nice operation. Repeat definitely follows.

On our bike tour to the bike path 8 of Hesse we have landed in the Waldgasthof Gundelhard. From outside rather inconspicuous but the food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was OK. Unfortunately, it took a little longer until the service arrived but the outdoor area was full and all wanted food too. all right.
