"Went here for my daughter who desperately wanted to go to a real bakery. She said that it was exactly how she imagined a bakery! The options are wonderful, she got an eclair the size of her head and she said it was delicious. They have gluten free options which is great, the flour less torte was lovely. We just went for baked goods, but the lunch looked so good! We had Well-Bred Bakery prepare 3 cakes for our wedding. We asked for various flavors and icing, combinations that were a little out of the norm, but Well-Bred was very happy to accommodate and work with us to create delicious masterpieces. All of the guests could not stop raving about the cakes. Well-Bred staff arrived early at the venue and quickly set-up the cakes; much appreciated on a very busy day! "We were visiting from Houston and San Francisco where there are great restaurants and thought Glass Onion in Weaverville would be a good choice. It was the worse meal I had in the Ashville area. The special Sunday night was veal which was so tough that I could barely cut it and so tough that I could not eat it. I love pear and beet salad but the pear was hard as a brick. "Casual food with raised food. We hadn't been to Stoney Knob Cafe in a few years, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the enormous improvement since then. Our friends have an early reservation for 5:00 and we were glad they were. It didn't take long until the crowd came in. We were greeted by Rachel, our waitress, who was extremely professional. We ordered wine and beer while we waited for our friends to arrive and they ordered wine as we penetrated the menu. My wife ordered the chicken pancake, and I ordered the Good Girl Pasta loaded with shrimp. Both were delicious. Our friends had Caesar salads and ordered the Scallops pig belly, and the Greek style lamb. All our meals were well prepared and delicious. There was still a small room for dessert, so we share the key lime cake and they share the coconut cake. A perfect end for a wonderful dinner. If you are looking for something special and do not want to fight the masses in Asheville, head towards Weaverville and stay at the Stoney Knob Cafe!"

"This past Saturday (6/8/24) I attended Glass Onion with 7 other ladies for a nice dinner while celebrating my bachelorette. We and high hopes for this establishment after looking at the menu because I love good quality of food. Upon arriving we were promptly sat and had no wait for our reservation. We were greeted very friendly. Tim our server (I believe Tim was his name) was phenomenal. We order drinks, appetizers, entrees, a couple people ordered dessert. On the menu it states a check can only be split into 3 bills. This was not a problem for Tim as he was more than accommodating! I saw that he had to individually write every bill out. I think on the establishments end there could be a more efficient way to go about this. I believe this should also be listed on the website. I ordered the Elderberry Fizz, The House-Made Blue Cheese Dressing Salad, and the House made Fettuccini w/ Organic Roasted Chicken. My pasta was mediocre. I did very much enjoy the artichoke hearts in it though. I just thought it was lacking in some way. I thought the portioning was appreciable. I loved the rolls as well. 3/5 food Our service was great besides feeling very rushed. There was constant pre-bussing and I felt like it was an in-and-out meal. I feel if it wasn't so rushed we would have had a better time. 4/5 service A couple of things my friends had to say was that the Grilled Scottish Salmon w/ Creamed Leeks was perfect very delicious. Another friend really enjoyed her Angel Hair w/ Fresh Shrimp, Sausage Zucchini meal. I don't think I would back come here with a party larger than 4. I hope this review helps!!"
