a pity was ordered to a xxl cheeseburger a part pommes and a baguette. the xxl cheeseburger we did not get to definitiw if it was a normal cheeseburger and for that it is worth €6.20. never again.

before the renovation, I still eat the chic baguette before monsieur, there was that still with gurke tomaten and more complain on it would be desirable if they were to work the pad again. for now they have much more just broth and after one is still hungry for the price a scandal over it.

"This little shop is on the side streets of Bremerhaven. They deliver. It is really great american style pizza that is hard to find in Germany. We tried the Pepperoni and the Combo, both were very good. It's not NY Italian or Chicago Deep Dish,...but its pretty good when you are working overseas and are looking for a good slice of pizza. "Directly in the inner city of Bremerhaven and directly beneath the "Große Kirche", you'll find this fine restaurant. I stayed there several times and always enjoyed the nice atmosphere, friendly service and really good food. This is not a take-away-pizza, but an italian restaurant. If you know the difference, go there. You will not be disappointed. In respect of fish, I prefer the Scala over nearly all other high class fish restaurants in Bremerhaven."

"Our German friends made reservations for 4 for 6:30. When we arrived they were surprised to find we were seated outside and that the menu was a grill night, which wasn 't mentioned to them. But that was fine with us. We were given water and...then ignored for nearly an hour. Other waiters declined to acknowledge us. Finally our order was taken but we had to then ask for a wine list. At the hour an a half mark, the food arrived. Our friends ' lamb looked fine, but our salmon grilled in foil with herbs and vegetables was literally raw--the cooling foil was cold. We managed to grab our errant waitress and she agreed without question that it is not as it should be. And whisked our plates away. We asked our friends to start eating their dishes; nearly 29 minutes later our foil fish came back with different side vegetables. Nevermind. Maybe the grillers had a problem--clearly this is not a place where the staff respects and supports each other to make a good dining experience. The flustered and embarrassed waitress offered to comp us a snapps but we were more than ready to leave and declined."

"we came to lunch as a couple before we went to the muses. I've been in nasty past a few times, but hadn't visited in at least five years. the atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful and beautiful nautical, with wood...Platinen and nautical decorations all over the place. the staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. when I realized that my friend is English, they gave her a small English flag to put on the table. we first ordered main courses and were started with a delicious curry-making amuse-gueule. I had one of the North Sea soles of the restaurant that was fantastic. the fish was perfectly cooked and on my request it was filled by the waiter at the table. for dessert, we shared a cream brulee and red grütze, both of which were good, although not in the same league as the exceptional fish dishes. Overall, it is clear that this is one of the best fish restaurants in bremerhaven, if not in northern Germany. the decoration, friendly staff and high quality fish deserve special mention. very impressed!"
