Pork belly, Gyutan also great. Drinks.. Matcha beer, cold and hot sake reliable. Highball not so much. When soda was hot, readily replaced (gave another) with colder soda. Service is great. Sacho disciplines/trains servers well. Authentic Japanese style. Thank God this place in Teaneck. Otherwise, have to make a trip out to Manhattan.. Yakitori Totto, Torishin, Hagi... Koreans can only flock... popularity of Matsuda-san from 544 (Osaka residents) craves for yakimono. Arigato gozaimasu. KANPAI."

Poor service. At 9:20 they said they were closing at 10:30 and will not be serving anyone else today. At least there’s another sushi restaurant around here that will be serving 1/2 before closing. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Food and the vibe is great, but the restaurant is usually very busy and hence slow service. And the place desperately needs better ventilation. It is so smokey that my eyes were hurting towards the end of the meal. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We had too high expectations from the good reviews and got disappointed big time.. Food was ok but expensive for the quality portion. The place was very dirty. Food drops on the floor, sticky table, dirty plates... Also we were not sure they had the same Sprite we knew. It tasted plain even after they gave us a new one. Lastly the servers were kind but did not understand the menu availability. It felt like we were ordering something they didnt know.. Parking: It was very difficult to find a street parking near the place. Then we found a free public parking lot just a 1 block down.
