"I recently tried Knife and Fork Inn for the first time while visiting AC for a week. This was on my list of places to try and I am so glad I stopped in on a Wednesday evening for dinner! I was able to quickly be sat for a table for one. The server was friendly, bus person always had my water glass filled, and overall I loved my experience. I could feel the history of the building which was great! I chatted with the server about some menu options and she recommended the Knife and Fork Inn dinner, which included 3 courses, an excellent and tasty crab chowder, a fresh tomato and mozzarella salad (I actually typically dislike tomato but was able to surprisingly enjoy the dish), and then filet Mignon and lobster thermidor, their signature dish. I can see why, as it was so delicious, lobster was cooked perfectly, it was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and I loved every bite! The steak was cooked well, I asked for medium and it was mostly spot on, it was so tender, and tasted so fresh! My side was good too like a pillowy french fry. I would definitely return and recommend to others. The prices were reasonable in comparison to casino restaurants and everything was so fresh and delicious! Even my creme brule dessert was awesome! Awesome dinner and can't wait to visit again some day!"

"We went to the jubilee dinner. Staff, service and food were impeccable. Our files were cooked exactly as we asked and were from this world! We got a free desert because it was our anniversary as well as copies of the menu with the date. Very nice. We highly recommend it and we will return absolutely. "I visited this place and I'm from New York city and let me say, it is amazing! You need to definitely try the Burrata, which is made table side. Get everything with it because I'm telling you, you won't regret it! They made it seem so effortless the way they made it that I'm about to start making my own fresh mozzarella at home. The restaurant is cozy and the service is very good. I definitely recommend this place. It's definitely a gem in Atlantic City."

"I made this reservation to celebrate our annual day. I mentioned it in the reservation as they are asking that they celebrate something. I mentioned it again when we checked in, and again on our server. I don't necessarily expect anything, but why ask if there is no confirmation at all? it was restaurant week in atlantic city that we knew. we have eaten several times at vic anthony before everything is perfect. this time it wasn't great. they have now clamped the place so that it is too busy and loud. I can't believe how many times my seat has been in the people, including the severs. I thought I'd watched something on the back. our server seemed very hurried and therefore less than attentive. Although the restaurant weekly menu does not indicate substitutions and the suppe lobster bisque was, I explained that I am allergic to seafood, I could just get a bit iceberg salad. That's crazy, but I was told I could have a Caesar salad, but not a simple salate. I said it doesn't matter to me to just give my suppe. that never happened, he only brought one and that was 1/2 full. it also looked down watered it was so thin. the filet was delicious and perfect, the kartoffels were good, but only lukewarm. we had to remind the server that cheesecake was included for dessert. we wanted more butter for the brot, it never came. overall no great experience and very disappointed."

"Pros: The staff is as friendly as ever!Unfortunately today I'm not sure what happened to the quality of the food. I ordered a #8 and I usually order the same 2 or 3 menu items. But today it was just awful. I tried eating it and 1/4 of the way into i stopped because everything tasted yuck. Undercooked??? Spoiled product??? I really like this place. They just need better ventilation for their building and better quality control. Hope this was just a one off..."

"The service was phenomenal, I believe our servers name was Jimmy. The food was good, but we were actually seated outside of the restaurant, which I was a little surprised by. I fully understand covid measures, and am not sure if this is the norm, or because of covid. It was noisy out in the front, as well as the fact that you had people outside waiting for their tables, and people in the casino that would come up and use the bathroom (some of them pretty drunk). We were celebrating our Anniversary and figured it would be a quieter setting. What really topped it off was when a drunk couple was very loud, and then facetiming some family members. (Not necessarily the restaurants fault, but also not ideal). I think the point is we expected so much more and it fell short"

"While spending the weekend at the Tropicana Casino Resort with my Mom, we were looking for a “non-casino” breakfast option. By no stretch of the imagination would I consider myself cheap, however, I cannot justify spending $50 for breakfast for (2) people; especially for sub-par food. A quick Google search turned up Maria’s Luncheonette. We decided to be adventurous and give it a shot. A ride that took less than (5) minutes brought us to Maria’s; a small, quaint breakfast spot. The menu was posted on the window outside and the prices and selections seemed reasonable. We went inside and the place was jumping, not a seat in the house. We put in our name and within 5 minutes we were seated. We ordered and within 5-7 minutes our food arrived and it was incredible looking. My Mother and I were BEYOND pleased. The food was hot and fresh and the presentation was AMAZING!! Additionally, the staff was pleasant and attentive. Refilling our drinks, and checking on us to see how our food tasted and if we needed anything else. I always love an opportunity to support small business and Maria’s officially has become our go-to spot for breakfast in Atlantic City!!! RUN, don’t walk and get yourself a reasonable priced meal that gonna knock your socks off! Maria’s Luncheonette is AMAZING!!!"

"When they say panoramic ocean views, they mean panoramic ocean views! The atmosphere of this restaurant was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating, and the food was incredible! We arrived early for our reservation, so the hostess gave us a nice table right next to the window. Wei made sure we always had water; our server, JD, was so kind! The view was absolutely fantastic and our food was delicious! You definitely need to check this place out when in Atlantic City!"

"It was our first time at Capriccio's to celebrate my wife's birthday. Service was great from the moment we walked up to the booth and the hostess pulled out the table. Very old world feel. Like Sinatra would walk in any minute. We had the corn chowder and Caprese salads for our first course. Both were delicious and nicely seasoned. My wife had the Chicken parm, which she said wqs excellent. I had the seafood pasta, which was also very good. Loved the atmosphere great place to celebrate a special occasion."

"Kit and I took a early ride to Atlantic City, NJ and got Lunch before Jeff Dunham's Performance at Ovation Hall of the Ocean Resort.Sat at the Bar of Tennessee Avenue Rhythm Spirits for a Plain 12 Pizza and a 12 Pepperoni Pizza.Both were surprisingly delicious, very thin crispy crust, sweet tangy sauce, tasty cheese with the right amount of char on the crust.Definitely a Great Place for a stop by!!!"

"This place is a true gem. It transports you to a wholly other place. The food was good, but the service and ambience are what make this place truly special and memorable. There is still some construction, but it was nice that the menu had a full page insert telling you exactly what the plan was for the restaurant and what it would look like when fully finished. Our waitress, Brittany, was so personable and welcoming. If you like BYOB places, as we do, then that just adds to the charm of this place. My husband ordered afghan specialties and I the more French-inspired food and all of it was quite good. We will absolutely go back next time we are in Atlantic City."

"Came in about 430 for the 5 o'clock dinner service with my wife and was kindly greeted by the male and female bartenders behind the bar and asked if we would accompany them for dinner. They jotted us on the paper and asked us if we wanted a drink. They had no cocktail menu, but they had a decent wine list and a few handful of beer to choose. The dinner was opened immediately at 5 sharply, was quickly seated, depending on how they were served first they had made by the dinner guests of the bar. We had tomatoes and mozzarella seasonal appetizer, HUGE tomatoes! As if we questioned the size of tomatoes, the slices came, but they were absolutely amazing. House salad came next with homemade Italian dressing, which was also great. I had the chicken stable, perfect. Wife had the lumps crab and Portobello mushroom scampi, she said it was great. Peanut butter cheesecake and 5 layer chocolate cake for dessert, both good. Great experience over, really started our evening with a great dinner. Will try something new again."

"The food was delicious. Everything was fresh and the proportions range for two. The waffle was fluffy and you could taste the vanilla. The chicken was crispy but Blande, but went well with the waffle. The sweet tea is delicious, but be careful is as a special drink and you are not allowed to refill. We waited for an hour. We were greeted several times by the city's delicacies during waiting. Overall, the food is good."
