"We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past, but this time we were disappointed with the quality in comparison to the price. The cold water lobster tail was excellent, but the supposed "1/2 lb" of king crab had very little meat and was not fully cracked, making it difficult to enjoy. The steak frites were overcooked as well. The bottle of wine we selected turned sour and was undrinkable by the end of the meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the bartenders were great, but overall the experience did not feel like it justified the high cost."

"One of my favorite restaurants in the world! Service was stellar! Attentive, friendly, and efficient. Cocktails, Spring Fling and Havana 3am, were delicious, well balanced, great depth of flavor. The Hot and crispy Italian bread was as delicious and yummy as ever. This time we ordered the Caesar salad and Beet, Orange, and Fennel salad since it was so hot and we were looking for something light and both were refreshing and excellent. My Brother in Law's wood grilled bone in New York came and it was well done, not even a hint of pink, but the kitchen fired a new one and it was delivered a perfect medium rare. The server comped our three desserts for the issue which was appreciated. The Pacific Halibut was a little too salty for my taste and also a little over done but flavors were good so kept it. For dessert, the olive oil cake was the standout for us with the espresso afogato running a close second. As others have noted, make sure to make your reservations well in advance!!!"

"Excellent food!!! And the service was amazing. Our waiter Lawrence was very informative regarding wines, alcohol and food. Excellent staff all around from the minute you walk in to the minute you step out. Heads up if you order the pork chops it's more than enough for two ppl. I myself ordered the Texas wagyu steak and the billionaires potatoes were superb as well."

"Have visited Carve several times. Will not return. The service was far below par and it took over 90 minutes to serve for our food. The waiter completely forgot my salad and then left the bill on the bill. After talking to the manager, he would “get rid of the bill by the asparagus. We had to get them back because they did not pay attention to the milk allergy we had shared with the server several times. If it wasn't my son's birthday, I would have been up and left long before dinner!"

He informed me that the menu changes daily, which I found to be a wonderful concept. The snapper and chocolate mousse cake were both delicious. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, and I am excited to bring my wife to this unique restaurant."

"Service was fine until we ordered dessert. The desert took over minutes it was bananas foster and when it finally came out the waiter poured cold syrup on top of the bananas and they barely lit. The resulting meal was ice cream cake . Raw bananas and cold syrup. We had already waited for so long for our dessert that there was no way to complain. Additionally during the minutes we were waiting for dessert, the waiter never asked us if we wanted a drink or anything. The last hour of our meal was very disappointing. This is the first time I have ever had a bad experience at Eddie V’s. And I’m not sure what was going on but it was not good"

"The salty is definitely one of the best donut places in Austin. I enjoy the tiramisu flavor. It’s not too sweet and you can taste the chocolate. Service is great. Restroom is clean. I like the table here. Stable internet and nice chairs. You can enjoy a great time using laptop here.Parking: There are around 10 parking spaces in total. It’s easy to park in the weekday, but sometimes you will have a hard time looking for a parking lot during the weekend."

"We went to Eddie V's for aour anniversary dinner. Our server, Donna, was friendly, offered recommendations when asked and was very professional. We started with the Ahi Tuna Tartar appetizer which was very fresh tasting with an avocado, mango and citrus sauce. Our filet and the filet medallions oscar style were both cooked perfectly and the crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions was a nice side for the filet. The staff made our dinner special from wishing Happy Anniversary when we arrived at the hostess station, at our table and with a special dessert."

"Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. I went to Odd Duck with high expectations after I repeatedly heard that it was the best restaurant in Austin and it was not disappointed! First, I need to talk about the staff. The amazing server we had (Joe) was so passionate about his work and what he served. He told us he was working at Odd Duck because he was eating there, and like, I want to serve it. We would ask him for recommendations and he would not be able to give us a precursor because everything was delicious. He wasn't wrong. Every person we interacted with was so funny and you could say that they enjoyed working there. We have heard from many employees that they are like a family there and that is obvious. Okay, the food. YUM! Just YUM. You should have orders. We ordered so much and stuffed completely because we just didn't want to stop trying everything. The desserts we had was something to be bloated, and I have to give the wonderful bartender a special cry that asked my husband to drink a super spicy drink. She nailed it and was so funny. Believe the hype and make your way to Odd Duck. You'll love every second!"

"After flying into Austin–Bergstrom International Airport, we needed breakfast before we made our way into the city, and we thought how could we miss with a place named Humpty's Wall of Breakfast?? We each ordered the Your Eggcellence sandwich and man, was it tasty! Fluffy eggs, creamy avocado, spicy salsa, a little crunch to the bread and saltiness from the bacon it was so good! The staff were very friendly and the storybook vibe is fun and definitely kid friendly. Highly recommended!"

"Clean look and inviting space. Given the ratings on google I was super excited to try it. Had a disappointing experience mainly due to terrible service. We sat at the bar and the restaurant was not busy and still it took forever for us to get help to order, ask questions and get our check. The entire time we were there felt like we were ignored and had to fight to get the attention of the person behind the bar. The food wasn't bad, the lamb torta was delicious, the brassicas bowl was good but I found the portion to be too small for an entree and the chili fries had way too much chili oil making it super greasy, messy and overpowering so not enjoyable. The service definitely is what killed it for us though."

"we had a great dinner in ciclo! our waiter denis was so friendly, friendly and attentive. he went out several times to make sure we had everything we needed and to make our dinner special. we ordered the mais empanadas and homebrot as appetizers and both were delicious. for our later courses we ordered the chicken, the beet salad, the butternut cheese soup. the food performance and taste were excellent for them all. I highly recommend ciclo to dinner and if they go they need to ask for denis to make their night really special!"

"Thanksgiving Lunch . Seating was exactly as requested . Quiet and private considering the number of folks there . The menu as always was wonderful and so fabulous ! We even tried the grits which normally we despise grits and they were amazing. The waitress though was kind of a low point . She hurried us to order before we’d even had a chance as nice to read all the choices . Then she served the course before the fettine . Eventually that arrived and was the wrong one . We politely waited until she came back by we’ll after she might have checked on us . My husband said I think this is not what we ordered . She said yes it is and I pointed out that the one we had ordered black buck, pork belly etc did not have seeds in it : It was annoying to receive the wrong dish , late wait till she checked and then be argued with . Luckily the rest of the meal went ok and was delicious including the chocolate ancho cake . Even not ordering the second course It was so much food we asked for a take home box . I guess she is used to people either just leaving a huge amount of awesome food to throw out or she eats much more than we do"

"The restaurant is a little gem with a very elegant and at the same time cozy atmosphere. The service is outstanding, especially a young man that I think is the manager. The cocktails are very good, and the wine list really very long and varied. The food is good and tasty, especially the mango sorbetto. I'm planning on going back to try other specialties."

"Casa de Colombia is a favorite of me, especially when it happens a Colombian fútbol game. That was not the case that this trip for lunch, which means it is not so loud or busy. I enjoy the aromas from South America. I must start with the Tequeños Venezuelan cheese sticks. The dough is great! In addition, a maracuya (Barmobst) had juice. A lot of juice selection. I went and ordered a few things going around here to get sweet curtains, an empanada and arepa and sopa de ajiaco. The empanada too long (and should have been composed); I think they forgot. 4 stars because the service was not the best, unfortunately."
