"Thanksgiving Lunch . Seating was exactly as requested . Quiet and private considering the number of folks there . The menu as always was wonderful and so fabulous ! We even tried the grits which normally we despise grits and they were amazing. The waitress though was kind of a low point . She hurried us to order before we’d even had a chance as nice to read all the choices . Then she served the course before the fettine . Eventually that arrived and was the wrong one . We politely waited until she came back by we’ll after she might have checked on us . My husband said I think this is not what we ordered . She said yes it is and I pointed out that the one we had ordered black buck, pork bell...

The food and service was great and really, what I expected. Not very impressed though with the goat cheese side dish. The ratio of cheese to carrots was off putting

We are jaded New Yorkers and Chicagoans, a new Austinite, and native Texan and we had a fabulous time at LD thanks to our server Gary and the chefs. We had the classics: trio fettine, elk, buffalo, tenderloin, boar ribs and the ancho chile chocolate cake. Oh and Pappy Van Winkle at a reasonable price point was much appreciated. All were amazing and beautifully presented. My family could not stop thanking me for making this reservation..Love the Texas wild game decor, keep it coming. Thank you to all at LD Austin for giving our family such a memorable experience
