"I have finally eaten at all of the fancy steak places I know of. Ruth’s, Sullivans, Buddys (Hammond , Flemings. Ruth’s was slightly more expensive than Flemings, but not by much. I ordered the ribeye at all of them for scientific research purposes. Food wise, Ruth’s has the best steaks, Flemings the best sides, and Buddy’s the best overall (it is by far the cheapest . The table bread was awesome. Steaks were cooked 100% perfectly, which is hard to get because medium means something different everywhere you go. I ordered the ribeye and my girl ordered the New York strip. The ribeye was better than the other three places ribeyes. My girl didn’t care for the New York strip, she said it was very salty. I didn’t notice, but the ribeye was definitely better. The salads were great. I ordered the chopped and my girl the Caesar. Both were great, and the chopped presentation was very unique. The sides were pretty disappointing. We ordered mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and broiled tomato. The tomato must have had sugar on it, it tasted like ketchup. The creamed spinach was bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade (which is good for $3 side, but for a fancy steak place at $10 it needs to be otherworldly . Gave my girl a cheesecake since we were celebrating her birthday. Probably the best cheesecake we have had. Overall a fantastic experience. Our waitress Diamond was excellent and friendly. The water glasses did not get less than half full (or empty? . Bathrooms were immaculate."

"We were passing through and wanted seafood, so we stopped at Willie's. I had the tuna tacos and my husband had the Cajun pasta. We were both impressed. (And my husband is hard to impress). We even made a point to time our return trip home so that we could enjoy Willie's again. 2nd trip I had the seafood potato (pretty sure 3 people could feed on it and be full). Husband had the reddish dish. Both were so good. Thankfully we are homeward bound and have to-go boxes with our leftovers. Both of our visits were Saturdays in Dec. They were doing some sort of promotion with the Grinch, but our service was never interrupted. It was cute and their Grinch did a great job."

"This is my second time while in the city coming here. This time, I brought a group of friends while traveling since my first experience was absolutely great. Let me mention this, the first visit was precovid and we were easily accommodated on the patio for a group of 18. One of the best experiences I?ve had with a large party. This time, I had a group of 8, and our server was great! Some things we had to ask another for our differently, but easily accommodated. There was not a person in our party that didn?t like their meal. We came for brunch and as Mexican brunch was unique and different to me, I was greatly intrigued and pleased! The band performance was wonderful! While it was appropriate for all, it was also genre and culture inclusive with the wide selection of songs! Try the frozen mimosa! It was a HIT! Each of us ordered one. They didn?t skimp on the spirit, but still had this consistency to make it frozen. Not sure how they did it, but I?ve never had one nor seen that idea elsewhere and loved it. We?d definitely return!"

"extremely short staff. had to wait and call Hostess phone to get someone to the host booth. asked waitress, what the pages that you should be listed on the menu there, instead of giving them what they were. my fiancée had a hard reading menu and her task to explain it to the customer. low customer service. this was on the 4th juni 2022 at about 6:25 . she came back to the table with a better representation, but honest was too late. never comes back. my eating was not fixed in time, it was assumed to wait after 30 minutes that food has not been cooked yet. we left. it was claimed to be busy because of the banquet, but the chefs were standing around right now. do not avoid coming here for quality service. beautiful ambiente and sick give a star for it, as we can not give 0"

"We stopped here with our pups on the way to Houston, and are so glad we did. We sat in their front patio with our dogs and the waitress brought out a water bowl for them. We shared the veal parmagiana, it was so good, came out fresh, piping hot. Their red sauce is to die for. Came with a Caesar that was very generous with the grates parm. Love it!"

"I 've been stopping at this pub on off for brunch since June of '21, it 's been the go-to choice as it brunch menu is rather late than other places I 've been interested in going to. The dishes so far have been amazing in quality flavor, I highly recommend the Cajun Benedict , I 've never had poached eggs before, but the flavor combination with the pulled pork on top of the biscuits made my mouth absolutely orgasm yes i said orgasm) with flavor.The hash browns that come with the meal are not the ones you 'd typically get from waffle house, they 're the diced potato kind and at first glance i was unimpressed. Then i took a bite and let me tell you those potatoes were seasoned oh so right, I had to pause for a moment before continuing my meal.The staff is always chill and relaxed, and I have yet to have any sort of gaunt experience with them. The overall aura of the place is always pleasant, although they allow dogs on the deck outside and it 's usually not so bad, but the last time I went it was slightly bothersome with the barking but not too unpleasant that it ruined anything."

"Umami has some of the best sushi I've ever had! Their raw sushi is super fresh and their rolls are decently sized. I ordered the Death Valley roll which was amazing along with two crunchy rolls during happy hour. I absolutely love their happy hour because any other time of the day I feel as though their regular rolls are a little pricy. However, I know that's just because of the quality of their sushi and the fine-dining sushi atmosphere they give off. My only critique was that their homemade soy sauce was super salty. I pretty much didn't even use it for my rolls, but that won't stop me from coming back! I will definitely be back soon (during happy hour)!"
