"This restaurant, within the Lone Mountain Ranch, was by far the most extraordinary place I visited in Big Sky. It was recommended to me by a local I know has good taste and it was not disappointed. I ate at the bar in the accompanying salon. The bar itself had a great old-fashioned look at it, the place was lively and included some acoustic entertainment. While there is a pub menu, there is also the complete restaurant menu. It is an interesting menu that makes choice difficult. I left myself on the roasted Poblano Chile soup, which was served with chocolate cream friiche and smoked garlic oil, which is delicious. For my entree I chose the Pappardelle and Elch Bolognese, which contained Heirloom tomatoes and Grana cheese. It was a perfect size part of the hearty plate. A cream brussel made from Bourbon sounded too good to go up. The bartenders were friendly and professional. There is a nice wine card with the glass. The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable. The ride back from the main road to Ranch, followed by the walk from the parking lot to the big cabin lets you know that you are for an adventure!"
