"Amazing! Loved the simplicity of the menu. The food was not bossy or over the top. The flavors were well balanced and complimentary to each plate. The Maryland Crabs Cakes and Pork Ends were a great start. Dinner was the flounder and the duck. Both were tender and full of flavor without being snobby. This is up there with some Michelin Star restaurants I've dined at. A must when in Birmingham."

"So delicious and tasteful! I love it! I and my friends were in town for a convention and decided to try to eat a good Latin food on Monday before we go back to town. I just want to say the front counter girls and the cook were both very friendly! And the food was amazing! Very tasteful!! I wanted to try a certain dish, but it was still cooking. So I have something else that Amazin was btw! And before we left, she brought out some samples of the first record I originally wanted, just so we could try. How great is that? Really a great experience! Great customer service! We'll be back at the next few years convention. So we will come back: Thanks again!!"

"WE ordered the warm burrata , it was cold on one side . The toast points were under the cheese on one side and we had to ask for crackers. The duck was cooked well but needed some sauce to give it more character. personal opinion) I asked for onions and olives in my martini... no sour onions, told by waiter, only olives with no centers on a straw.. never seen this before. The waiter was fine and attentive."

"My partner and I went here for our anniversary last night and it was wonderful! We loved the atmosphere and the service was wonderful. "Googled restaurants nearby and chose this one solely on wanting Mexican. The selection available not only suited my picky nature but also my coworker who is a vegan. The patio seemed very chill but was packed so we dined inside where it was dark and a little too loud for my taste. But the food was delicious and served very quickly. If I came to the area again I would definitely come back to Rojo."

"My wife and I celebrated our 21st anniversary this last Saturday with dinner at Belliniâs and later a movie (Top Gun-great movie). Our meals were outstanding and our server, Jeff, was awesome! Loved our salad and we ordered chargrilled shrimp as a side. Delicious! My shrimp scampi and my wifeâs chicken piccata were superb! The portions were quite generous and we could not finish it all. We also ordered sausage pizza to take home, and it was delicious. We shared Belliniâs signature bread pudding for dessert, which was absolutely yummy and quite filling. Such a lovely dinner (made extra special by Jeff). We LOVE Belliniâs, have been eating there for years, and have always enjoyed our dining experiences at this reasonably-priced, fabulous Italian restaurant. We recommend it highly."

"Last evening our UAB doctoral cohort, our families, and mentors, enjoyed a wonderful graduation celebration dinner in the Glass room. It was an incredible evening of food, fun and fellowship in a lovely setting. The room was well prepared, and the staff were incredibly attentive and meals for all were cooked to our requests, from appetizers through the main course and dessert. A variety of sushi, calamari, oysters, and shrimp was ordered and loved. The main course was wonderful as well (too many to list but the surf and turf was off the charts), and the desserts, especially the carrot cake cheesecake and the pecan pie cobbler were devoured. The wine drinkers in our group were also complimentary of the selection. All in all, a great experience and the staff were wonderful, from planning the evening through closing out the bill. Great job!"

"Beautiful, romantic atmosphere, from the valet parker to the greeters, the waiters, and all of the staff are extremely friendly, professional, and caring. The food is beyond delicious, the service outstanding, they explained the food, and even the sequence in which to eat the pork chops. The portions are generous and can be ordered to share. Dalton our waiter was fantastic and equally the young man who brought the food, who explained the pork chops. The man who parked the car started the dining experience off with a WOW greeting. The two ladies who greeted us when we first came in were over the top nice and sincerely caring. I asked if they would take our pictures, as we were coming from a gala function and were dressed in a tuxedo and gown. You would have thought that we were old friends in the manner in which they treated us. highly, highly recommend, and endorse with more than 5 stars Perry's Steakhouse Grill."

"I love this place. the only “Minor “Recommendations to visit was concerned about parking. after five can park directly at the restaurant. I've also used this to the florentine, but it's often full. now I have a third option that is actually good for the whole area no. there is a huge park deck, bp 6, which is located directly on the city federal building"

"This is a little low score than it probably deserves, but I think it is reflecting for the experience. We had a reservation and sat right away. The service was fast and very friendly. And the food was also very good. The reason for the low score is the back of the house seems to have problems. It took about 2 hours to get Entrees. We started with drinks and appetizers, but it was over an hour from the time we ordered our entrees until the food arrived. Our server and the manager have done everything they could do, but you can't cover any problems in the back. The other thing I would say is that prices are a bit high for what it is and compared to other similar restaurants nearby. Where most of the restaurants would have the most Entrees is the $30s with seafood and steaks pushing into the $40s. I would say most of the things here are in the $40s with seafood and steaks in the $50s. Add some wine and appetizers and you are looking for $200 / pair. It is not astronomical compared to peers, but it is higher. So, my recommendation is that if you have a lot of time, check it out. All dishes on our table had great taste and were usually well prepared (one person had underboiled Risotto). And the front of the house personnel was great and the management seemed engaged and attentive. But it will be a whole night dinner unless they make a few changes to the house again."

"I always love this restaurant food experience. My experience at this Bham location was NOT enjoyable. Firstly, the air conditioning was broken in the middle of a heat wave in Bham. 2nd, the host was very rude. Even the traveling trainer noticed the abrasive interaction, 3rd there were customers who had jeans on, shorts, caps on...I am not accustom of this type of restaurant to allow these occurrences. So, while the food was good and my dining was good, the atmosphere was not what I expected."

"Surin is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant, and honestly my favorite restaurant period. Their coconut tofu soup would absolutely be my last meal of choice. The downtown location is overall a bit better than 280, but 280's volcano pots of soup give it an edge for me."

"we have long been customers of sy thai in birmingham, I personally have been literally here for decades. a week ago our family ordered Thai execution, and my wife's curry noodle dish was dry, dry, dry and tasteless. have I been mentioning? it was literally only noodles, two pieces of twirl and hardly one of these absolutely tasteless sauces. it was really disappointing, because thai is a pretty big cheating for her and she was really excited. we called to let them know, and the guy on the phone seemed less to worry about. He tried to explain the court to us, and we told him we had eaten the court in question for years, we are aware of what it is. Anyway, my wife wanted to trigger a kind of deprivation, but I could say that the conversation with these men is nowhere to go. I kindly let him know that they should really examine the situation because this performance they might lose more than a long-term customer. there was a short time before covid, where we stopped going due to some quality problems, but while covid we gave them another attempt and the take-out returned to great quality. before covid there was a handful of times that eating was not so big, we almost asked who the cook was then, because sometimes we came and it was great, and other days it was moderate or worse. we suspect that it was the one who was cooking and maybe could find out where was cooking and maybe we could avoid it in the future. but this last visit took only the cake, and the "we could take less care' answer to the phone was simply not enough. we're not sorrow, we've both been working in the service industry for years, and we've been tapping well. I hope that this experience was one exception, but I'm not sure we'll ever come back to find out."
