"We ordered the combo gyro plate and the lamb beef gyro wrap. We were hopeful as this place had good reviews, but unfortunately the meats were dry. The hummus with the combo plate was decent, but nothing special. My partner preferred the Mediterranean Kabob restaurant. The dining area was clean, although the floors were a bit sticky. Outdoor seating was available with heat lamps and a large TV. The staff only checked on us once, right after serving our food, and did not return until we had finished. Our water was not refilled. The restaurant was not very busy, with more takeout orders than dine-in customers. Due to the dry meat, I would not recommend this place and would not return myself."

"I loved that this place seems to be family owned and run, but I have to give feedback on my burrito. They have a burrito option on the menu which has ham in it. I asked to substitute the ham w/ chorizo and I figured since it's swapping 1 meat for another, there would be no charge. But, I was charged $5 more. I figured it would be fine, until I got the burrito. First off, it took them forever to make the burrito. We were waiting for over 10 min. When I finally received my burrito it was over filled with egg and little to no chorizo. I'm not joking when I tell you I had not more than 5 bites of chorizo. I even got to the point of picking eggs out of the burrito to find chorizo to eat. It really bothered me that I was charged extra, to have that little of chorizo in my burrito. I did not try their bagels, so maybe those are better, but I would not recommend a burrito. The restaurant was clean and the staff were kind (especially the young man making and handing out the food)."

"The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious! Every time I order, it is made quickly and tastes incredibly fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Japanese curry. 10/10!"

"I absolutely love Teaspoon. The location in Hayward is fantastic. However, today (9/3/22) around 3:30pm, the girl wearing glasses gave my partner and me terrible service. She was unfriendly when taking our order and delivering our drinks. We had to repeatedly thank her just to get some acknowledgment. It's important to have a positive attitude when working in customer service. Her attitude was so bad that it put us off the Burlingame location of Teaspoon. The unpleasant attitude was also evident in our drinks, which were not as tasty as we are used to."

"I've been to like 5 different Salt and Straws on the west coast and this one was pretty bad. The line stretched out waaaay into the street and you'd have to wait like 30 minutes for your ice cream. Maybe it's because it's a smaller shop but the whole process took really long with just 2 slow employees. I also got the limited edition beecher's flagship flavor and it barely tasted like ice cream and more just bready. The scoop was also the smallest scoop I've ever gotten at any salt and straw. Maybe next time I'll stick to the classic flavors and... not go to this location haha. Food: 4/10 Service: 4/10 Vibes: 4/10 Value: 4/10"

"This restaurant is a must try if you like quality and delicious meals. I've eaten here several times. The food service always brings me back. Love the china they use, too. Quite elegant. Eating outside when it's a nice day is pleasurable, and sometimes it can be a bit too loud inside when the restaurant is full. For lunch, the salads are tasteful, and all delicious meals from the dinner menu. Happy with the wine list. I highly recommend this restaurant. They can accommodate large parties, also."

"The bread with its special Italian dipper is very good. Fried calamari is also better than most other restaurants I tried before. However, the lamb frames are really disappointing. Talking to the manager and finding out that they cut off the fat and leave all the hacks very slim and hard to chew for older people or one without good teeth. I will give him 2 or 3 stars for food, but because the manager removed the load from lamb as he said you don't even like it, how can I calculate you. Thus they earn a star for the excellent service and consideration."

"Can't believe we found this gem of a restaurant. Food, service, wine were all to perfection. This will become a regular spot on any returns to the Bay Area. We knew it was a great choice by the all the local residents being greeted like family from the owner upon arrival. Wonderful!"

"A small and tidy eatery at the heart of Broadway. Parking can be a bit of a chore therefore. The decor is on the more minimal side but does not detract from the mood. The staff is friendly and took our orders timely. Lunch came out at a steady pace. The food is good but could be better. The tea leaf salad was light on the greens, the flavor dominated by the fermented tea leaf and the fried garlic. More crunchy than crispy. Also had the curry with chicken, the meat was quite tender, the flavor good if not exceptional. All in all a good place for a quick lunch."

There was no explanation from the server even when we expressed confusion and dissatisfaction. I feel like the server then ignored us for the rest of the meal. "This is our neighborhood pizza joint and they will absolutely accommodate a vegan diet! I get a vegan pizza with as many veggies as I want without cheese. Their sauce is great and I don't miss the cheese at all. I'm sure they have Daiya, too, if you just can't do without. Their deep dish pizza dough is not vegan however. They have lovely roasted shisito peppers (watch out for the hot ones! and salads, too. Fun outdoor seating, dog friendly and full bar, too!!!"

"a pizza. wife ordered roasted brussel sprouts. sprouts came in about 5 minutes. seven or eight minutes later the pizza came, but it wasn't with the one I ordered. then three tables were served with pizzas after the arrival, and mine were still in the lower world. finally came the pizza, the waiter scoff when I asked him what the problem was. when I paid the bill, another waitress informed me that the first was burned and they had to make it new. that's all in order, and I understand. but why in the name gottes do not keep service personnel informed about problems that will delay food service. the food was good, the service was not. Maybe one thing before I get back."

"This restaurant is not considerate of guests with allergies! We specifically did not choose a cheese option in our order because my son has a severe milk allergy, but we were still served a sandwich with cheese. I only discovered this after my son had already eaten part of it, and now I am extremely worried about his well-being. If anything happens to my son, I will take legal action against this establishment."
