"OH MY STARS!! Was this ever a diamond in the rough! I must have passed by here a zillion times and not noticed an amazing restaurant humbledly tucked on Washington, just west of Eastern. My good friend and her family live around the bend and they hadn't heard or seen this place either. We are always looking for good places to try and it took me fumbling on yelp to come across it and I did a double take because I couldn't believe this was coming up as a opened restaurant, patio/outdoor seating, and the pictures and reviews had me intrigued. I sent the page info to my friend and she was in shock. I called on a Saturday but was discouraged not getting through. We got n our hopes up we though. I tried the next day and voila! Confirmed so we made plans to try it and if we didn't feel the vibe we had plan b in mind. No plan b z needed! We were in love from just pulling into the parking lot. We loved the outdoor setup, the soothing music and the food being carried out matching pictures we had seen. With our masks on we LOVED the measures the staff took for following COVID 19 regulations. The staff was overwhelmingly charming, going above and beyond to make you/us welcome. The temporary, condensed menu was amped with absolutely everything sounding so great ... the prices had us fo a double take because it was such a breath of fresh air to not see menu prices actually were unbelievably affordable. We each had felt like having some vino with whatever we ordered and oh my goodness were we treated like royalty sampling until we found what was suitable and they were all delicious. The staff so accommodating, brought out the infamous garlic bread I had read about in reviews O. M. G. . We've all had garlic bread at some point but this was beyond delicious. I didn't even have to ask for balsamic vinegar and olive oil they brought it out . Between 3 of us we ordered Fettucini Ai Funghi Porcini Con Capesante E Gamberi, Linguini Alle Vongole, and Fettucini Alfredo with spinach and chicken oh my goodness!!! Fresh, ample, savory, incredible. We split a tiramisu that was absolutely divine! We were all in love "

"I saw the reviews, and I really wanted to like this place. But, nope! What I do, that others may not do, is was the prep area while my food is being made. So, to begin with, when I walked in the place smelled like a metallic blood scent that someone had tried to bleach away. You know, the kind of scent that makes you inhale deeply the second time to be sure you smelled what you thought you smelled. That should have been my clue to walk back out, but with the benefit of doubt, I ordered anyway. Here is where my experience will cause me to NEVER eat there again. The man who expedites the orders at the window prep station, behind the counter, had on black gloves. With his left hand, he scratched his face over his jaw. With his other gloved hand, he then grabbed his shirt and wiped the side of his nose. He never changed his gloves. Then he took his left arm and wiped sweat from his forehead. I'm okay with that, except my eagle eyes saw sweat drop from his forehead. Did I mention no hairnet to be seen? Okay. But, let's go with the thing that pushed me over the edge. He coughed. Did not cover his mouth or turn his head. Just an open mouth cough, and kept right on slicing up what he was working on. Then without changing those gloves with all the nastiness of face and shirt handling on them, he proceeded to build and wrap my burger. I did not eat it. The fries were ugh. It's the after taste for me. That and the old grease look of them. So, no I will not be going back to Lulu's for anything. And my advice to everyone. Watch the prep areas when you order your food."

"Decided to go-to Commerce to see what all restaurants were out this way, and seen the very first one off the highway being Lone Star Eatery. The parking lot was packed and people were parking in the grass. Went in as a group and we all ordered a frozenmargarita being they have a large selection of frozen margarita that you don't typically see. The original and strawberry andmango. The ones I've never seen anywhere before was Blue raspberry and Raspberry, peach margarita. The blue raspberry and mangowas awesome! Started off with the Texas cheese fries and they were a nice not too crunchy double fried fries with cheese andbacon with a side of ranch. They brought out a free plate of honey rolls with cinnamon butter... It was better then Roadhouselol. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy with a side of Mac and cheese, loaded mash potatoes. The chicken fried steakwas gigantic and the breading was perfect, flaky and melt in your mouth and not hard but fried golden brown. Other at the tablegot The Gigantic baked potato with brisket and bbq sauce, it was a massive potato for sure and they said it was pretty good. Inoticed a buffet was setup in the rear of the restaurant and the waitress said they do a buffet daily until 2PM, so it may besomething to try in the future. They have a lot of desert options ranging from chocate chip pizza, apple pie, cheese cake, chocolate meltdown(brownie), cinnamon bread. I really wanted to get the cinnamon bread but I was stuffed.. I could barely getout of the booth and then realized I had to wobble to my truck ROFL. I'd highly recommend the blue raspberry margarita and thechicken fried steak... And the rolls with extra cinnamon butter."
