"I visited Amar India for the first time on September 3, 2016 with my husband 's parents. His father is Indian, and he wanted some flavors from home. : I wanted something vegan, so after seeing they were veg-friendly I was happy to give it a shot. The atmosphere is low-key but really nice. There 's a bar and two dining rooms separated by a wall. The menu was authentic with a lot of options, and a whole section for vegetable-based options. Our waiter was really polite and knew what my being vegan meant without me having to explain it, which is always nice, lol. There 's cream and butter in a lot of things, but some things are able to be made vegan. I had the vegetable Biryani rice, medium spice level, and it was really good. Hot though! I went through something like six glasses of water, and the waiter was attentive enough to keep it coming, lol. Overall, we had a great experience and my husband 's father was happy with the food, too. Will definitely go back. : Note: I would have given five stars, but HappyCow does not allow that for restaurants which are only veg-friendly as opposed to vegan or vegetarian. Just fyi."

"The food here is normally delicious but I was disappointed when I ordered pick up and drove all the way home, just to find I was missing an item and also the food was messy and just wasn’t up to its usual quality. I spent $35 just for food for myself but if I was going to get fast food quality, I would have went to Wendy’s. I had high expectations because this place is normally great on food/service. Definitely not this time. I am so glad I forgot to tip. I felt so bad too until I checked my order."

"I ordered the lunch combo and received nothing that it comes with I tried to grab my cookie and she asked me was I going to pay for that me thinking it’s apart of the lunch meal and I just ordered that instead she just put in a combo which only comes with chips as if she didn’t do anything wrong. The bread is chewy like to the point it could send you to the dentist it’s like pulling teeth trying to bite that bread ! I asked for toasted but the bread is already hard and chewy or old and just didn’t make ghf sandwich better at all last time going to that place not happy with service need to be shut down"

"An exciting mix of Vietnamese and Chinese tare that give you lots of options for a dining experience. I go for the Vietnamese menu items and highly recommend the clay pot rice dishes and soups. The staff is friendly and helpful if you are new to Vietnamese food. The house made lemonade is fantastic."

"The food here is always top notch but I was a little disappointed when my boyfriend and I came through last night. We ordered a big OH burrito and carne asada fries and also ordered a side of queso. We paid $1.75 to get a few drops of queso… I opened the lid as we were pulling away because the container felt very light (see picture). The woman working the window was also rude last night. Overall we love this place and will be back, but this particular experience was not great."

"My sister and I were in town on a little history tour and looked online for a place to eat a little something before we hit the road. The pictures online looked so good we quickly decided that it had to be better than fast food, so why not? Quite frankly... the food couldn’t be better. The way they use their special hot sauce will make you want them to sell it in stores. Such an amazing experience great food, great service. Will definitely make our way from Cleveland again just to go here."

"I’ve eaten at Salar now a few times. My only regret is that I haven’t eaten here more and had the entire menu. It is the prefect date night destination or quiet brunch spot.The cocktails are top notch. That’s coming from a beer guy.The food is well above average. Not only is each dish expertly executed, they are designed to be flavorful and memorable. When I want something extraordinary, Salar is at the top of my list."

"I used to love Condado when I was not vegan, and I am happy to still be able to enjoy it as a vegan! They recently changed their bean recipe to make it dairy-free, so now it is vegan. They offer a variety of guacamole and salsa options, as well as many vegetable toppings. Their protein options include Thai chili tofu, vegetable chorizo, and mushrooms. They also have rice and beans available. My favorite is the vegetable chorizo! You can customize and build your own tacos, nachos, and bowls. A must-try!"

"we (2 couples,) who dive into a lot of dayton upmarket restaurants were at least 5 times in the last year in the Roost....it was so good. this time we were disappointed. her best dish was formerly the mustels di finocchio, which is an appetizer. it wasn't so good....they knew the recipe changed, maybe the cook cut back to the cream sauce, but it was sub par. the other dishes, mushroom scallops, market fish (salmon) tosconna were fabulous; the filet was boiled (ordered med; came from very medium-sized rare) with too salty boursin maischekartoffeln, and the linguine pesto was not impressive. we all surpassed average dessert selection and let us ask ourselves if we will go back. the one highlight was the service. evelyn was amazing, others supported with needed, and the host exceeded expectations with a decisive accommodation. this was the place we expected and received high quality food and why we returned. the chef must return to his A-game....until, then the roost will be a hard choice to return."

"My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time two weekends ago. I ordered the sea bass and he ordered the ribeye. We have dined at many fine restaurants in Cincinnati and other countries, but this was by far the best meal we have ever had. The sea bass was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the capers added a beautiful flavor. The steak was out of this world and the best I have ever had. We will be raving about this meal to our friends and family and urging them to try it out. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning frequently in the future!"

After visiting a nearby burger joint recently that charged extra for a tub of barbecue sauce I'll give up the burger for a chicken sandwich! The staff is always polite and efficient. "Have not been to Jay's in a while and decided to go there tonight. I sat at the bar. As always, the food was great and my server (Bob) was excellent and paid attention to every detail! The atmosphere and service reminded of the excellence Jay himself provided back then. My evening culminated in discovering a $68 parking ticket fine on my windshield ... since I had not been to Jay in a few years, the courtesy or welcome lady (Jeannie) proceeded to take the ticket from me and says she will handle it! Amy, thanks for continuing Jay's tradition of providing great food, excellent service and great staff!"

"My wife and I decided to have breakfast tonight, so we drove to Bob Evans around the corner of our house. We had the best strawberry waffles Speck EVER!!! To finish everything, our server was a #ROCKSTAR so much that I seriously think of making it a real estate agent! (For this reason there is no name mentioned) She's also an upsell master! You're lucky to have them! Five Stars All Day!"

"We loved everything about it. Madi was our waitress and she was fantastic- wonderful personality and well informed on the menu which led to great recommendations. We look forward to going back. We had the Cuban, Brussel Sprouts, Nachos, Buffalo chicken sandwich, Reubens, and pizza. All were superb."
