"Spring 2016 On the occasion of a visit from friends, they encouraged us to visit an external economy. Since it was a Thursday, many outdoor farms had closed and so we landed at the Langehof in Rauenthal to make the day sound good. The farm has existed since 1566 and is one of the oldest buildings in Rauenthal. For over 100 years the family has been operating a winery there. In the meantime, the Rauenthal vineyards are managed by Lorcher Weingut Laquai. Matthias Klein and his wife are still responsible. The ambience corresponds to the typical rustic style of a street economy. The reception is friendly and accommodating. The guest rooms extend over two floors. On the first floor there is a table with the offers of the day immediately after the entrance. It can also be ordered à la carte. We decided: 1 times cattle salad with roast potatoes up to 10.80 € 1 times flame-cake classic up to 7.60 € 2 times three types of spy cheese (classic, meditteran, beard liquor) with hearty peas bread up to 6.90 € For thirst we have approved this: for me only a red cuvèe Mandelberg (Merlot on Pinot: Pinot) The wines were consistently pleasant and balanced, harmonious and with not too much acidity. The cuvèe was excellently aromatic and intense in taste with the typical Merlotnote, the Pinot Blanc was nevertheless perceived as a bit flat with a brownish aroma and little character, the other white wines were well found. The large part of the beef salad with roast potatoes was praised. The three varieties of spundekäs were very tasty and meet our expectations with the beautiful strong dark peasant bread. Only the flame cake did not arrive and was criticized for too thin and dry soils. Knownly, the tastes are different and other people in turn do not like the flame cake with soft and thick soils. The operation was very attentive and accepted the criticism of the flame cake and offered to bring something else. We didn't use that. I found him because I have tastefully eaten the rest, and also a little too tight. Cleanliness is not to demand and the toilets were well maintained. The noise level remains within limits, so entertainment is possible. The economy is recommended if you want to spend a cozy wine evening. 4* can be awarded."

"only about 30 minutes away from francfurt in the city hadheim in rheingau, the eagle economy offers the talents of franz keller, a former michelin 2* chef who in 1993 turned his attention to animal husbandry, metzgerei and processing and since then earned himself for...his pork, bark meat and sausages. not on most tourist bikes due to its location and lack of discussion in travel guides, a visit on the last Thursday in the mai on the search for the strongly polite room full of native, non-German speakers who would seek to dinage into the adler’s economy would be wise to make a dictionary on the day they make reservations, although the workers try to make everything of sale good priced wine through the glass, an application to something “local and blood sweet” after 2015 riesling cuvee sektkellerei ohlig with for only 8€, it were the next three types of brot including the malty crackers, the trial offered, the focaccia above all stand with or without olive oil, while herbed cream went nice with radishes topped easy to offer from the luxury most meat dishes with the side chosen by the kitchen, the small carrots with oil and crimped fine, while cartoffels eating like angel food are stunning, you would be hard pressed to call more delicate roast beef than cellar thick slices under bordise, and given the portion size of its farm-raised and hand selected pork is a tasty beside much asparagus. not to leave without dessert, plus a visit to the cash machines at the corner, it should not surprise that a place so concentrated would end the inherited rustic, each bite of the economy apple tart amazing thanks to paper-thin pastry, which remains under Honey-glazed apples best with taken bite for bite with a great beak of home made ice cream sweetened from a cream sweetened from."
