"We have supported and enjoyed Blind Faith for years but the prices have gotten so high relative to the food served. My mediocre stuffed avocado at $19 with plain lettuce on the side left me unsatisfied, and the still very tasty Blind Faith salad at $17 which is 95% lettuce, overall gives me pause. With 2 drinks and one appetizer of Brussels sprouts our meal was over $80 before tip. The vibe is still, as always, friendly and inviting, and service good. At this price point I feel like I am mostly just offering my support to a local place, rather than getting a meal that I can’t wait to have again."

"Dined here as we were running an errand in the Evanston area and were looking for a new option. Saw this and stopped in because they had brunch and regular options. Loved the décor. Guys will like the many televisions tuned to sports events and the women will like the mirrors and chandeliers. Yep, it's that eclectic, but I think they managed to please everybody. We chose to sit in the oversized barrel seating, but would caution those who don't like drafts. They can receive a draft every time the front door opens, but I like cold, so I was happy. Server was prompt and friendly. We started off with their craft cocktails Murder in the Tropics and At the Darkest Hour and if we didn't have errand to run, I would have worked through several more. They were excellent. Food did not disappoint either. I had the pork belly sliders and could only finish two of them. Think thick slabbed bacon on mini buns. Great size and accompanied by hot and crispy thin fries. My companion chose the Thief burger which he deemed great, accompanied by sweet potato fries. I liked that the latter were similar in size to traditional fries, so liked them as well. I can see myself whiling away an afternoon or evening here or maybe both? . It's a chill vibe and far removed from the busy streets of Evanston street traffic."

"I love Siam Paragon. My family and I come here all the time for sushi. It's always delicious, my mom loves the drinks the server Jay makes. It's a great place to come with family, or even by yourself or on a date. The owners are a very kind family."

"The service at this restaurant is excellent! I have been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and this place has the best service. It is very professional. The food is also amazing. I recently dined there on Friday and I am going back again tonight to have the dry aged Kansas City strip.....again. I appreciate that each steak comes with a side, which is a rare find in a steakhouse of this quality."

"This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life! I wish I lived closer bc I would eat this weekly if I could. Instead it’s saved for special holidays like Christmas and Birthdays and anytime I’m in Evanston. My family has been coming here for decades and it’s always a joy. The prices are fair, the portions are big, the flavors are delicious, the food is so fresh, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I tell everyone who likes Thai flavors to come here. I have been searching for comparable Thai food forever and it just doesn’t exist, this place is it! We love to get the lime chicken, the pad Thai, the nam sod, drunken noodle, pad se iew, Tom Ka khai , kari puffs, Panang curry, basil beef, and coconut rice (not always at the same time haha). The meat, poultry, and tofu are always high quality and a pleasing texture. They have never ever gotten our to go order wrong either, which is invaluable in these times where we’re doing carry out so much more than in the past."

"4th time eating at Kansaku. As always, very warm and welcoming environment. Kansaku offers very tasty appetizers along with excellent maki rolls (lobster king and Carnival)!! Service was quick and friendly. Definitely coming back again!"

"My husband and I came for a bite after the theatre and had an amazing meal!! Such a friendly staff and great service. I had steak and chips (perfect) and he had a kale burger (my picky vegan husband was very pleased). The hummus starter was very good. I also enjoyed some of Deb's homemade chocolates for dessert and they DID NOT disappoint! The presentation was unique as well. We will be definitely be back soon."

"Ok.. I admit my pic game isn’t the best; however, I must say this was the best dinner I’ve had in a long long time!! I had the beet salad as the starter and the roasted duck entreé with cherry sauce. 100% absolutely delicious!! Now, I was really looking forward to the sticky toffee pudding for dessert but it wasn’t available so I skipped dessert.. Congratulations to the Chef!"

"Of course Gigio’s has long been a favorite for lunch with our office being just down the street. The quality, price, and speed are all top notch. I recently tried the gluten free crust pizza though and it turned out great, the crust was crispy and I got to have the sausage and pappadew peppers just like the regular pizza by the slice. You have to offer a whole pizza which if you eat the whole thing is beyond filling I’ll try to just have two slices next time and save the other half. Their online ordering system is direct to the restaurant as well so they aren’t losing out on third-party app fees. 10/10 would recommend!"

"Always passed by during the summertime and saw their outdoor patio packed. Nice location. Definitely not summertime when I went It was a cold and wet Saturday afternoon, and not busy. Hummus Panini was ok, comes with one side (I think there were three options). I would be willing to visit again and try another food item on their menu."

"For anyone new to Chicago or trying out deep dish pizzas, Lou Malnati's is the gold standard. They have very rich pizzas, and compared to Giordano's are slightly cheaper. The tradeoff between Lou Malnati's and Giordano's is the cheese. Giordano is heavy on the cheese, while Lou Malnati's is heavy on sauces. But that's not to say their pizzas aren't anything short of good. Be mindful of servings though. Deep Dish pizzas are a lot more filling, and most people will feel really full after 2 slices"

"This restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and the bartenders are extremely friendly. We just found out that they have a fantastic trio that performs live music every Monday night starting around 7:30. I cannot recommend them enough - the Diamond Jim Greene Trio! I also suggest trying the Hemingway cocktail, it's delicious."

"Bland, greasy, and just makes you ask the question, What did I do to deserve this? First, we tried to address the issues of taste with the manager Sandy. Well, we found her to be very condescending and rude, when we merely tried to discuss the ingredients of the dishes we had one vegan in our party and simply wanted to know if there would be food options for them but instead were assaulted with nasty vitriol! Not everyone eats meat and you are nasty for making us feel horribly!"

"Great service and good food. Great for take out or eating in. My favorite menu items are General Tso's Chicken and they have the best Crab Rangoon! Yum!! A five minute walk from the South Blvd Purple Line stop in Evanston. If you're in the area check them out!! Today I ordered the General Tso Chicken lunch special that comes with an egg roll and fried rice. Great food at an excellent price during the lunch special."
