"I never leave reviews but this was awful. We got the egg drop soup, fried rice, and orange chicken. The egg drop soup was like scrambled eggs in a thin broth. The fried rice had no flavor. The orange chicken didn't taste like orange chicken at all and for the cost was such a small amount."

"I am a frequent customer here because I work long hours and don't have time to cook. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered fries with my meal but they forgot to include them, even though I had already paid for them. When I called to inquire about the missing item, they told me to speak to the manager the next day, which seemed excessive for a $3.50 order. Eventually, they suggested I come in person to get a refund or receive the missing fries, but the customer service was unfriendly and the call was ended abruptly. Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant."

"Wow, what a great find! The chicken chilaquiles were so good, as was the omelette my wife had. We both shared the beignets and were pleasantly surprised; they were fresh, light and fluffy, which came with a side of syrup. Their coffee wasn't bad either. I'd personally advise against the biscuits; they resembled dense dinner rolls more than biscuits unfortunately. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot; we look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town."

"There are 11 different meat options available at this restaurant. I have tried them all separately inside the large quesadillas. Here are my ratings: Adobada (Marinated Pork) 10/10, Cabeza (Beef Head) 9/10, Chorizo (Pork Sausage) 8.5/10, Carnitas (Pulled Pork) 8.2/10, Birria (Beef Stew) 8/10, Lengua (Beef Tongue) 7.5/10, Tripas (Beef Stomach) 7.3/10, Buche (Pork Stomach) 7/10, Vegetarian (zucchini, tomato, peppers, mushrooms, onions) 6.5/10, Asada (Beef Steak) 6.5/10, Pollo (Chicken) 6/10, Chicharrón (Fried Pork Skin) 5.5/10. I recommend ordering the Adobada when you get tacos, tortas, nachos, quesadillas, etc. As for the drinks, here is how I rate them: Piña Colada 8/10, Jamaica 8/10, Tamarindo 7.5/10, Horchata 7/10, Michelada 5/10, Orange Juice 4/10, Coffee 2/10. I have always received good service and enjoy the chips and salsa that are provided after I sit down. I appreciate that this place stays open 2 hours later than other Mexican restaurants in Old Town."

"Bottom Line: This place is slowly slipping I have been coming here for years and it has always been pretty good but the last two or three visits have been a bit different. This last time I came in with my son and we ordered two rolls and a bulgogi bowl. We stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes before anyone was available to take our order. Once we ordered, we sat down to wait and since there was only a couple tables occupied and nobody else in line we figured it would be relatively quick. We sat and waited for 10-15 minutes and the to go containers started stacking up in the kitchen window but nobody around to distribute the food. Some of the boxes were for us but there were a bunch more for other people. We sat and sat, waiting. One of the go to containers opened on its own, revealing our food and we continued to wait until the point where the cooks were talking and pointing over at us, clearly understanding that this was our food. After a little while longer, someone came back up to the front and packed everything up and we were on our way. My son and I walked over to On the Alley (where the rest of our family were sitting and by the time I had arranged everything at our table, my son had already finished the California roll. I was about to head back and ask them if it had been forgotten but my son is very much a growing boy and was able to communicate with only his hands (as he was already chewing on bits of the Rainbow roll.... that he had already consumed the first roll. The food is still pretty good but the service side is slipping a bit"

"Located inside of a shopping plaza with a large variety of shops and food choices. The service was great and the food was on point. We were checked on several times by our waitress for drink refills and anything else requested. The hostess could use a little training. She never made eye contact, never greeted us, and never gave us a children's menu for my daughter. I had to ask for one and we couldn't hear anything she said. Not a great first impression."

"Oh my gosh, so where do my wife and I begin! The first thing we noticed upon getting off the freeway and Goleta was that there was so many taco bells. My wife and I had driven there to drop off a nestling Robin who had fallen out of its nest in the Wildlife Care Center off of Fairview Boulevard. Kind of just to see what the hype was about we decided to stop at one of the Taco Bell's before hopping back on the 101 South. We ordered on the kiosk so it was very sanitary and user-friendly and then immediately went outside to the nice patio area to wait. I know this is a review for Taco Bell but I cannot emphasize enough how great their food contrasts in comparison to just a regular Taco Bell! Their bean burritos were actually stuff the size of a small Chipotle burrito with tons of beans onions red sauce they actually grilled the tortillas! I'm very impressed as well by my wife's taco. As if that wasn't enough when we got our order, the employees recognized that it was kind of inundated with customers, and before even asking us I had already sent in a ploy to the pack to obtain the key, and he asked us would you guys like extra coupons for a free Taco for having to wait so long we apologize. We obliged and the employee looked her straight in the face with sincere not and handed a several free Taco coupons in response to an only 5 minute wait. We were not only Blown Away by the customer service and friendliness, but also by the cleanliness in lieu of covid-19, and most importantly the quality of their food. This wasn't just a regular Taco Bell and I hope that we can get ours and our city to also cook and regulate their employees with the same respect. The only discrepancy I have was the small parking lot very cramped on the left side of the building. Be advised you pull in from the north side of the lot and exit at the South. many people were confused"

"What a great experience, the barista that I met this morning was so genuinely friendly and kind to every customer, Scarlett deserves a raise. The decor was fun and the quite small area was bursting with personality. I don't live nearby, but everytime I come into this area, I'm certainly going to stop here, if for nothing else than the customer service. I had a pre-packaged sandwich and a chai latte; both were fantastic and the barista offered to warm it up for me immediately."

"although I enjoyed stopping at the nat. cafe about the years, their service is really about the board. I always have to check my food before I leave because they have completely mixed my order in several places (and their eating is not cheap. , and if I have brought back my quitting and food to give for what I DID order, the cash I hold to some places, while at other places was extremely helpful and accommodating. it really depends on who helps you and keep in mind that I was not confrontational or rude to them, I understand that it is not their fault and the kitchen can mix the dinge a bit in a hurry. I don't want to pay $9 for a baked potato and steamed vegetables I never get! haha! at least this is quite good, the concept and the atmosphere of the ortes is much fun! the service is completely hit or miss."

"The service at this restaurant is excellent! The atmosphere is great and I especially enjoyed sitting outside during a sunny summer afternoon. What I really love about this place is their unique food presentation, particularly the bread bowl. I ordered the farmers veggie sourdough bread bowl with jackfruit, which was a satisfying and protein-packed meal. The side mint sauce added a delicious burst of flavor. The bread bowl was so filling that I couldn't finish it all in one sitting, but I took the leftovers home and enjoyed them later in the evening. The food tasted just as good reheated. I highly recommend trying this place for a tasty and different dining experience."

"Rockfire Grill is a great burger and pizza place smack dab in the middle of Isla Vista, the college community beside U.C. Santa Barbara. Cool island vibe all around with their Tiki lounge decor and reggae hits playing in the background. The lunch special of original flatbread burger (which comes with 2 patties), fries and drink is not only the most succulent, flavorful burger you'll have in Santa Barbara County, it also won't hurt your wallet. The flatbread is a great alternative to regular burger buns, being light and crispy, so you get more burger flavor and less dough. It is apparently baked the same time your burgers are cooked, making it all the more fresh! Their in-house sauces are very good as well, perfect for dipping your fries, sandwich, or pizza in. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Nice outdoor seating area, and also plenty of indoor dining. They even have a mini stage for karaoke nights! Small-ish parking lot, and good luck with street parking. Just don't get hit by students biking on auto pilot trying to not be late for class."

"I met up with some family members at the Goleta Mesa Burger for what was supposed to be a pleasant Sunday lunch. There was an untrained girl working the till who had to be shown how everything was done, so it took a while to place my order. I chose the Mesa Burger, and when it arrived the patty was pink and almost raw. I took it back to the counter and the girl said oh, did you want it well done? She said they 'd do it again for me, so I went back to my seat, and waited. And waited, and waited. Eventually I asked the waitress whether my order would be ready soon and she clearly hadn 't put it in: she asked what was it you wanted again? A few minutes later, she served my re done order still pink and underdone. By then the rest of my group had finished their lunches, and I wasn 't in the best of moods. I went up to the counter and asked for a refund. It took two people about ten minutes to figure out how to do that. Mesa Burger have almost doubled their prices since lockdown, but I have no idea how their customers can possibly be satisfied with this low standard of customer service and poorly cooked food. For half the price and for much better quality food, I 'll stick to In n Out Burger and will be telling friends to avoid Mesa Burger."

"Hopefully the manager(s) read this review. Because Thomas in Goleta is one of the best customer service representatives I've ever met. Everytime we've come in this summer he's been here working hard with a smile on his face! The eating area has been clean and well stocked with spoons and napkins. He is respectful and kind to our kids. I overheard him saying he was pulling a double shift today (4th of July) not complaining just explaining why he was solo. What a great guy. I hope he gets the praise and appreciation he rightfully deserves. He's doing an excellent job. Thanks for working hard Thomas!"

The woman I spoke with name was Fionna, who she didn't even listen to me and just said they wouldn't make or reimburse the drink. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I added a copy of my receipt."
