Great food at a great price. I got the Alambre with mixed beef chicken last night and it was awesome! Wife got the Camerones de diabla and our girls got the beef casa dia and loved it. Great food at a great price.

The most positive aspect of our meal at this restaurant was its affordability. We ordered enchiladas and a chimichanga. Unfortunately, my wife became ill after eating half of her meal and had to discard the rest. I hurriedly finished my food due to hunger, but now feel nauseous and disappointed in myself. Leaving the nausea aside, the Mexican cuisine served here is comparable to what one might expect from a diner in Wisconsin, prepared by someone named Kyle who is unfamiliar with fresh California avocados. "I had the spicy squid. I'm a pretty white guy but I like spice, so I was expecting something with maybe some spicy Mayo or whatever, a few pieces of squid, and some rice. I had a date to go on with this new guy so I wanted something that could be a fun talking point. It was a talking point alright. Five seconds in and it's the spiciest thing I've ever eaten. My entire face burns with the intensity of crunching red-hot coals in the pits of hell. A few minutes in and my tongue goes completely numb. My lips tingle so much they're practically vibrating. My entire body is screaming for help but I dont stop eating this amazing squid. It was fresh, done to perfection, and a good ratio of meat to vegetables. Now this guy is being pretty nice about offering me water and whatnot, but I have never looked more unattractive. Snot is drizzling down my face. I'm practically crying. But it's so good I dont stop eating (plus it was kinda expensive and I didnt want to waste it). We're both laughing over this food and I'm trying to offer him some but he's vegetarian. He'll never know how spicy that was, or how good the meal tasted to make me keep eating it even though I was dying. We did not have a second date. "I am a frequent customer here because I work long hours and don't have time to cook. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered fries with my meal but they forgot to include them, even though I had already paid for them. When I called to inquire about the missing item, they told me to speak to the manager the next day, which seemed excessive for a $3.50 order. Eventually, they suggested I come in person to get a refund or receive the missing fries, but the customer service was unfriendly and the call was ended abruptly. Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant."

"Wow, what a great find! The chicken chilaquiles were so good, as was the omelette my wife had. We both shared the beignets and were pleasantly surprised; they were fresh, light and fluffy, which came with a side of syrup. Their coffee wasn't bad either. I'd personally advise against the biscuits; they resembled dense dinner rolls more than biscuits unfortunately. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot; we look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town."

"Bottom Line: This place is slowly slipping I have been coming here for years and it has always been pretty good but the last two or three visits have been a bit different. This last time I came in with my son and we ordered two rolls and a bulgogi bowl. We stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes before anyone was available to take our order. Once we ordered, we sat down to wait and since there was only a couple tables occupied and nobody else in line we figured it would be relatively quick. We sat and waited for 10-15 minutes and the to go containers started stacking up in the kitchen window but nobody around to distribute the food. Some of the boxes were for us but there were a bunch more for other people. We sat and sat, waiting. One of the go to containers opened on its own, revealing our food and we continued to wait until the point where the cooks were talking and pointing over at us, clearly understanding that this was our food. After a little while longer, someone came back up to the front and packed everything up and we were on our way. My son and I walked over to On the Alley (where the rest of our family were sitting and by the time I had arranged everything at our table, my son had already finished the California roll. I was about to head back and ask them if it had been forgotten but my son is very much a growing boy and was able to communicate with only his hands (as he was already chewing on bits of the Rainbow roll.... that he had already consumed the first roll. The food is still pretty good but the service side is slipping a bit"

"Located inside of a shopping plaza with a large variety of shops and food choices. The service was great and the food was on point. We were checked on several times by our waitress for drink refills and anything else requested. The hostess could use a little training. She never made eye contact, never greeted us, and never gave us a children's menu for my daughter. I had to ask for one and we couldn't hear anything she said. Not a great first impression."
