"After reading many other positive reviews, we decided to give Huck Finn's a try! We were greeted promptly by our server (Amy I think her name was), and she was a terrific waitress. She did great at explaining the menu options and beverage choices. Food came out quickly and was cooked perfectly! We loved our visit and will definitely be back. We would recommend this place to anyone. A definite must in the La Crosse area. Thanks Huck Finn's for a great evening, and I will be sure to spread the word!"

"Honestly most of the reviews Ive seen of this place are fake, this place isn't a buffet. They have absolutely delicious take-out. Food has always been 10/10 and all the employees are super nice. The entire menu is really cheap and well seasoned. Yes their building is a little grungey at the moment, but they also had to make serious changes to remain open during covid that they haven't yet been able to remove. Anyone who's spent time in big cities will have no problem with this place."

"This Red Lobster has the sweetest manager ever! She never hesitates to correct any issue and can be seen regularly checking on tables to make sure everyone is doing well. The staff are attentive, and you can tell when they really care about the customers. With the new carpet it feels like a brand new restaurant. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven?t been back recently. With new staff and updated menu items, the experience you will have surpasses any previous trips to this location!"

"DiggersHotline had their annual safety dinner there last night. The meal was an absolute disaster!!! they ran way short of food with 10-20% left to eat. The chicken was extremely dry... I supposed they hoped you’d by drinks to help choke it down . They ran out of gray for the potatoes, ran out of the vegetables and had completely ran out of salad toppings with many people left. Seriously? Huge miss calculation. It took probably 30 minutes to get people through the line and could have easily setup to run two lines through (one on each side of serving tables) to cut the serving time in half. Need some common sense management! HUGE disappointment! Hope Diggers rethinks their venue for La Crosse next year."

The drinks were good but I had higher hopes for their gin, since I like to support local. It doesn't taste like gin and is very harsh.The whiskey and vodka are much better. ETA: I had the 80 proof."

"Nice atmosphere but food and drinks a bit underwhelming. **** Mary came without any condiments. Ordered the special curd burger which was way over cooked. Wife had the taco pizza which was dry, lacked toppings and was told they did not have taco sauce. Disappointing to say the least. We will be staying away for awhile!"

"This is a definite winner! Hands down, the most awesomesauce amazing steak and eggs breakfast I've had in a long time. My beloved's burger was beyond his expectations and he enjoyed his **** Mary, plus his French fries were the best I've had in Wisconsin so far. Our waiter was excellent, and I love their Pay It Forward board (I contributed to it which made my day even more special. We are definitely coming back many more times."

"it was graduated weekend and we had one of the bubbles so not sure if that was why our service and overall experience were not better. our first order of the tapas came fast, but after that drinks and our main dish were few and far between our tellers came dirty, so we did not use them only little dinge that did not happen, other times that I have eaten here. "I went on Christmas to pick up my order and it wasn't ready yet so I waited. Then a woman stormed in and demanded a refund cussing everyone out cause she was waiting an hour for an order that was 45 minutes. They refunded the money and the woman walked out cussing at them still. While this did delay the time that my food by 20 minutes, it was still great. I think people should consider how busy they are on Christmas. My order said 20 but took 45 minutes the app won't tell you that."

"We wanted to get carry out on a Saturday night. I ordered chicken strips for me Mac cheese for my daughter. The chicken strips were thin and burnt. I ate them because I was hungry but I would definitely not recommend them!! The Mac cheese was not any better. It was boiled elbow noodles with some shredded cheese on top. We were very disappointed and will never get carry-out from here again!! One positive- Tatum, the girl who took my order was very sweet."

"I really wanted to like this place. It was OK but honestly has room for improvement. We ordered subs for lunch. Service efficient, space is clean. Clean restrooms. The sandwiches were OK but were very light on the insides. There was significantly more bread per bite than meat, cheese, veggies. Sandwich dressing on the side in one of those hard to open packages. I couldn't open it so the sandwich was dry. Too bad. The taste us there. Just need to put more on the sandwich."
