"I had a great breakfast experience at this diner. The bookshelves adorned with books along the walls were a charming touch. What made it stand out was the baby area located in the center of the restaurant. We were fortunate to enjoy the soothing sounds of a pianist while we dined. The food, while typical diner fare, was notably better than most. The only downside was that the prices were a bit on the higher side for breakfast. Overall, it's a lovely place worth a visit."

"We love McDonald's! The food is always hot, fresh, and the staff is friendly. My order is always correct, but they don't get 5 stars because they always seem to get the sauce wrong. I ordered 10 nuggets with a sweeter and more acidic sauce, but they didn't include any sauce at all, which was a bit disappointing."

"We used them for the catering of a small family meeting, chicken francais, penne ala vodka with homemade rolls and salad. Everything was delicious and everyone asked where we came from. Definitely a great experience and I am sure that many of the family will be back for more!"

"Lido's has new owners and I have to say, the pizza was delicious. It could of been cooked a little bit more but it was tasty! What we didn't care for was the waitress's attitude. As soon as we walked in, she was negative and put down the new owners. We almost left. But decided to stay. She basically threw our menus on the table, slammed plates and silverware down on other tables she was setting etc.. I can't understand how someone who needs good tips could act like that. Maybe it was because she had a boot on her leg from some injury? Didn't care for the new Owner? She never should have done that, whatever the reason was. Your Tip reflected your attitude and mannerisms."

"09/10/23 Wish I could give them a minus -5 stars for service a Minus -8 Stars for competence for that matter..This was a Uber order the Total was $100.02…The Order was made a few minutes after 6pm..We were Told our Food would be here between 7:30-7:45pm on the Uber site…Our Uber delivery person called us at 7:40pm claiming to be at the restaurant was told they couldn’t fulfill our order because they didn’t have anything we order? Which would’ve been fine if it wasn’t almost 2 hours since we made the original order..Then to add insult to injury, When we called the restaurant to find out what happened..instead of getting an “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience” we got welllll What do you want me to do?..we DON’T have No more Food!! Lol.. From the bobble head that answered the phone..Sounds Like this place is a Big joke masquerading as a restaurant.. (U close at 8pm, U get an $100 order at 6pm can’t figure out in under a hour that U don’t have enough food to fulfill said order? Clearly they employee Geniuses here!! this is why people “Usually Us” don’t choose small local eats anymore..Sorry to say but especially in Meriden..N-E-V-E-R Again!! Wish I would’ve read the reviews on this place 1st, we wouldn’t have even bothered ??‍"

"Tonight my mom, son and I came in for dinner. I had seen the commercial on tv and thought it looked awesome, i absolutley loved it the sirloin steak was fantastic! So juicy and tender!!! Seasoned and cook perfectly !!! Its all you can eat buffet for 15.00, never saw a buffet with so many grilled meats its awesome!! i loved everything i tried! And there were alot of choices, i cant wait to come back! They staff was super friendly and helpful. It was clean and comfortable nice atmosphere and The desert was really good too!!!"

"I had high hopes for this restaurant since it had recently opened. The interior is new and attractive, but the service and staff were incredibly slow. It seems like they were constantly running out of items, but instead of informing customers, they simply omitted them from orders. My order was forgotten when I went to dine in, and when I mentioned the missing items in my meal that I had already paid for, the manager displayed a rude and unwelcoming attitude."

"Our experience with ordering and customer service was a total waste of time. I waited for two months and still haven't received any resolution to my concerns. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The constant turnover of employees is the only thing that makes another visit somewhat tempting, but the service remains just as bad as before. "I honestly don't understand why there are negative reviews for this restaurant. It's located in a mall food court, so don't expect anything fancy. Despite that, it is the best restaurant in the food court, and it has been there for a long time so they must be doing something right. "I have NEVER had such poor service in my life. The lobby was not closed so I went in for 2 sandwiches to go, a simple order. One customer was in front of me. I waited at least 10 minutes before anyone came to the counter. Finally, this person, who was alsofilling the first customer's order, came to the counter with the food. She then told me she'd be right back and went to preparemore ingredients. There were 5 other employees working. When my order was given, a different employee told me it would be 5minutes. As I waited, all of the employees consulted and discussed their schedule and then disappeared, with the exception ofthe woman at the drive thru window. One young man asked if my order had been taken. I said yes. After 7 or 8 minutes, I askedthe drive thru person if she could check on my order. Another woman came back and prepared the sandwiches with the chicken theyoung man had put in the oven as he spoke to me. No organization or communication. I felt completely ignored and unappreciated.Meanwhile, the lobby hadn't been cleaned so I am not sure what these people were being paid to do."
