"peanut butter soup with chicken was delicious. great flavor, well balanced. Definitely get the FuFu; great complement to the meal. I stripped the very tender meat from the bones and then sucked any residual meat or sauce off the bones, sliced the FuFu into pieces and put them into the dish to mix with the sauce. Very delicious meal and reasonably priced. Definitely added Hadys to my favorite list and will order again soon."

"I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in the Triangle — from Wake Forrest to Morrisville. This is the best of the area. The menu is extensive covering almost all the Vietnamese must-haves e.g pho noodles, banh mi (baguette subs) and other less common ones like banh xeo (fried crepes), bun rieu (crab meat noodle) and softshell crabs (see photo).We will definitely be back. Plenty of parking too — don’t let the midtown part worry you."

Rice was mushy/over cooked on all the rolls with way too much rice came in 1 container, squashed together rolls were small too (but lots of mushy rice) Philly Roll tasted off. I hated I spent so much on something that I couldnt eat. Id been better off getting Teeter rolls. positive note: My cat like the small amount of salmon I gave him"

"Always a great option, right downtown and easy to get to. Near parking and the bus station. Great drink options, stellar chicken, and reasonably priced. I would prefer breasts to thighs personally, but the Carolina reaper sandwich is lit. The side dish, stewed tomato's and pope beans was surprisingly delicious too. Be aware portions are fairly big, I could only really eat half the sandwich with a bar snack (the also amazing rathskeller fries)."

"It's the closest thing to the Persian restaurants I miss so much. Nothing like New York , Atlanta or LA but, the food is pretty darn good. Service is ok. I said thank you in Farsi and the waitress was super snappy. IM NOT PERSIAN) I laughed. Sorry? When in Rome? lol, she wasn't the most pleasant, but it didn't kill my good mood. Portions sizes are now less than half of what they used to be and prices have gone way up. Would love to see bread butter and raw onion service, like the other restaurants I've been to but not here, unless you request it, and pay for it. It takes care of the Persian food cravings I get."

"My family and I visited this restaurant today as part of a celebration for my niece’s birthday. We made reservations as there were 11 people in our group. We arrived right on time for our 2:30 PM reservations. The restaurant was fairly empty so we didn’t have a long wait time. We waited about 5 minutes for them to prepare the area before we could be seated. The atmosphere was welcoming. I love the vintage look and feel of the restaurant. I was also tickled by the label on the restroom door that said WC meaning Water Closet; this was reminiscent of the 1900s. The bathroom area was clean and had a vintage look as well. Our server was professional and friendly. He was also patient as we waited for the birthday girl to arrive. We ordered appetizers and main dishes. The Crawfish Hush Puppies were good but tastes much better when eaten with the charred scallions and Steen's butter. The Smoked Fish Dip, Carolina Calabash fried fish plate, and the Carolina Calabash fried shrimp and oyster combo are really good! Although the fries were a tad salty, those were my favorite dishes. One huge disappointment is the way they manage the bill for large groups. Our server didn’t ask how the bill was to be handled at the beginning of taking our order, so we naturally assumed that we would be able to split the bill when the time came. When it was time to pay the bill, we found out that they do not separate the bill. Regardless of how many people in your party, they only bring you one bill, and they make you calculate your portion including correct amount of taxes by yourself. Each person then presents their credit card to the server with specific instructions on how much money is to be taken out of that person‘s credit card. Never have I experienced that anywhere. That was such a huge inconvenience! For this reason, I lowered my rating to 3 stars."
