We arrived right on time for our 2:30 PM reservations. The restaurant was fairly empty so we didn’t have a long wait time. We waited about 5 minutes for them to prepare the area before we could be seated. The atmosphere was welcoming. I love the vintage look and feel of the restaurant. I was also tickled by the label on the restroom door that said WC meaning Water Closet; this was reminiscent of the 1900s. The bathroom area was clean and had a vintage look as well. Excellent atmosphere, awesome server, food was delicious, and wonderful cocktails. We ate the roasted oysters, barbecue shrimp and rice and had several cocktails and wine. Everything was excellent. Dietary restrictions: Dairy and gluten free options.

They did not forewarn us they couldn't split the check for our large party and it was very frustrating trying to figure that out amongst our party while we were trying to get out the door. Auto gratuity is fine, but it's 2024 not splitting checks is just lazy business practice.

Save yourself some disappointment and go to McDonalds instead, which is basically at the same culinary level as this place. This restaurant is overpriced, over seasoned, and apparently overly appreciated by some of the reviewers here. I paid $40 dollars for a small plate of overcooked pasta, soaked in grease and some garlic bread that apparently was burned in hell and then soaked in I can 't believe is not Mobil oil. If you are craving some subpar food, then this is the spot!
