"We visited Mr. Smalls for a concert from the city. Iron Born Pizza was one of the only places that had vegan options and just a few minutes walk from the venue. There was only one review so we were not sure what to expect. There is no advertising for the Humble Pie in the shop, only on the website. We asked and they did it for us. All their cakes are Detroit style with a thick fluffy crust. We ordered one for both of us for $13. It took about 15-20 minutes to make and was a lot for both of us! I could see that this place is super busy at night, and calling forward could keep you waiting long. The cake was about 10 x10 square, cut in half way and cut into 4 the other, a total of 8 pieces. I can honestly say that was one of the absolutely best pizzas I ever had! The crust was light and fluffy, not gummy. I wanted to get some pictures, but the cake had no chance! My only regret is not to order a second cake for a snack on the way home!"
