"Great ambience!!! Great service!! Paid a pretty penny but worth every cents. Excellent date night spot. Food was fabulous. The chili lobster was out of this world. Steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The 10 minute cookie made the evening that much sweeter. Definitely recommend"

"We sat outside for Saturday brunch. Lovely NY day. We had the baked eggs. They were OK, the tomato sauce tasted fresh but not spices as described in the menu and too many mint leaves for my taste. Coffee came by the end of the meal. So bad timing there. Nice outdoor sitting but average food and service."

"I have been to Maya many times . I was here for the bottomless brunch today and had an amazing experience. The standout food items were the Chicken Fajitas, Maya Dogs, Shrimp Enchiladas, Sweet Plantains, and the Mini Waffles. I opted to have the Maya Mimosa which is a delicious combination of blood orange and passion fruit purée mixed with sparkling wine. Andrew our server went above and beyond. He made excellent suggestions and kept our glasses full!"

"Very charming spot. We went for restaurant week and ordered from the prix fix menu. The mezze plate was fantastic. Octopus was delicious, had a great marinade and so tender. The fish entree was branzino and prepared simply and delicious. Also have to rave about the almond cookies and walnut cake. I wasn’t prepared for dessert to be so good. We will be back!"

"We were disappointed to see that the menu items advertised on the website were not available. Also we made a reservation earlier this day that they were not ready. We had to wait for our table. I know things happen, but I was disappointed. I said on the reservation that we were celebrating a new job and there was no recognition by the numerous servers we seemed to be. Food was decent, but there are other more hospitable places in the area."

"Excellent beers on tap. Great selection of microbrews available under the bar. Beers change frequently enough to keep it interesting. Menu of brats, pretzels and spicy pies pair well with the drinks and are done extremely well! For those that don’t drink beer there are some wines on tap and a curated selection of spirits. The decor is classy but you’ll be comfortable no matter what you wear. Did I mention this is black owned? Def one of my new favorite bars!"

I would give them five stars, except two things: 1) restaurant was quite cold 2) we felt very hastily at the beginning because they immediately bring out the first 2 courses while they try to get their app and escape. they should explain the unique culinary experience prefixed and then give them menus or explain while they eat the apps, and then give them to choose the menus. standing dishes: panino (dessert,) soft eggplant ravioli, porcini ravioli, mozzarella salat and bolognese"

"Salads are great but it took forever to receive our order as the dasher waited for 30+ minutes and it was a smoke order of two salads. Restaurant is very good but highly unreliable with the timing of orders to go. Build in an extra 30 minutes plus if you oder from them off the original time door dash app advises it will delivered. Do not order from Marks if you are in a hurry!"

"There was a very loud guy screaming and cursing at the incredibly small TV. 1. The tv was small, because it’s an Italian restaurant, not a sports bar. 2. He was screaming at a football game between a 3-7 team and a 4-6 team like it was the super bowl. I think that is my biggest issue. Also, his group spilled a huge glass of wine all over the bartender and acted like nothing happened. It was as if he thought he owned the place and it was evident that he did have some connection to the manager. However it disrupted everyone’s experience in the otherwise exceptional restaurant."

"Thought I found the best spot close to my job for lunch. I even told everyone at my job about this place (Madison and 39th St location). Long story short I received spoiled seafood twice within a 6 week span. The first time I got seared fish that was spoiled. I didn't complain then as I do not like to complain and I just hoped it was a one off incident. Fast forward to this evening, I got spoiled shrimp. I called the restaurant and a Hispanic guy answered then hung up on me when I tried to explain that the shrimps in my meal was spoiled. I called back several times and no answer. I really hate to give 2 stars but at this moment if it was any other store I would probably give 1 star"

"Food was good as i expected . French dip, rib eye, prime rib ,bacon were good. But side dishes were not that amazing . We had creamed spinach mashed potatoes. Those are still good. But i think it’s better to have more meat than side dishes here. there are many places where better for creamed spinach mash potato.They responded via email pretty quick. Of course it’s not as quick as via phone though. But I didn’t have any problems with it.Many reviews complimented on service . It was just ..regular service . Not that good. Not that bad. Average service. It would have been better if he had asked more detail about order. For example, he didn't ask if I want to have enhance item which I totally forgot to order.He didn't ask that how would you like your steak. I'm not sure if it’s supposed to leave up to the chef or not.Overall, it was good. If I can get a reservation again, I will come back."

"Oceans is top notch. The service is incredibly. Our water glasses were always filled. The explanation of the dishes was spot on and the staff made you feel as if they wanted you there. The was excellent. From the charred octopus to the prawn specials to the steak, everything was delicious. Great place for a family gathering or friends meeting up."

"I had walked past Le Gigot many times, and always meant to try it and last night was finally time. My meal far exceeded all expectations! The service was excellent but beyond that there was a warmth and genuine feeling of hospitality from all the staff but a special shout out to Daniel our bartender/server, a lovely man who steered us well. Also to hear the words ‘if you need more bread just let us know’ took me back to more hospitable days when ‘bread and butter’ was a not a $9 menu item. The food was flawless, extremely fresh plump oysters, light cod croquettes, the crab pasta, and a perfect steak frites. I love this little gem and will definitely be back."

The *ultimate* Michelin star experience from start to finish—and I’ve been to almost all. December 2021: It was wonderful from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day dinner. The staff were very attentive. You will feel like the only people in the restaurant. It deserves two Michelin stars. The wine pairing was very generous and the food was filling. The presentation was artistic and creative. We would definitely return. Take someone here if you want to impress them."
