"nougatine at jean georges is the perfect pre-lincoln center dining place. our waiter was very nice when he came beyond the programmed what brings you to us today? and service was attentive. the early evening views of columbus circle at this time of the year are funny. the pointed zehenkuchen appetizer was excellent. unfortunately the lachs was overcooked. the list of weeping through the glass offered some very nice choices. the exquisite amuse beech before dinner were thin sparing in a spicy panko crust with a lemon based dipping sauce. the French pommes were too salty. dessert was the always excellent warm varona chocolate cake. we're coming back. not always perfect, but close."

"I recently had an amazing and unforgettable evening at Bâtard, which was one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. John Winterman's hospitality and Markus Glocker's incredible menu create a truly exceptional dining experience. The option to customize your own tasting menu is both enjoyable and reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying the wine pairing and cheese as well. I challenge anyone to find a better restaurant in NYC that offers such high quality at a reasonable price."

"We had a wonderful meal for a pre-theater birthday celebration. We shared the tuna and scallop crudo appetizers. Then I had cod in corn sauce and my husband had the swordfish. All courses were excellent, and served promptly, with a great focaccia for dipping in the sauces or a nice olive oil. For dessert our favorite was the pistachio mousse, but the rhubarb crumble on vanilla was tasty, and they also brought us a chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday (quite nice, but we were too full to eat much)."

"This place is fantastic! They have an incredible Monkfish dish right now. Idk if their menu changes or not, but it seems like they have a very experienced chef that could easily make that possible. The Ceviche and the Crab Cakes were also amazing. The price was a little bit steep, but not when you consider where it is located. The presentation and service were excellent. Most of the people were sitting outside, I'm assuming due to Covid mask restrictions. If you're looking for a fancy, high-end place to eat, this would be a good spot. The menu was relatively simple and it's definitely a seafood restaurant over everything else. They had some great desert options. The pictures show the Monkfish, the Halibut, the Crab Cakes, and the Brownie."

"The three of us took the tasting menu, but one of us eats raw fish. The only possible replacement for kamshi was the Burrata we rejected. We chose another appetizer set and said we would have to pay the full price for it as listed on the regular menu. Not up to expected standards! The carrot cake was good looking, but much too sweet. We also got an extra desert that didn't look good and was even sweeter. I suggest you try something else next time you are looking for your Michelin star."

"Great service and care add to the exceptional ambiance at Balthazar in SoHo, New York. Regal spot for brunch but be sure to reserve ahead of time as this restaurant fills up rapidly especially with the exorbitant foot traffic around the area. Solo diners get a complementary champagne on the house which was a nice touch and a great surprise. The bread basket was great, and the coffee exceptional as long as it is delivered hot (one of my top ups was not). The Benedict’s are exceptional with the English muffin and the Canadian bacon being very fresh. The home fries were also made from scratch and so I would recommend those as your side. A great experience for exceptional ambiance and food at this Michelin star restaurant. Sitting in the street booth and sipping champagne, I felt like a celebrity to onlookers!"

"The dinner was absolutely incredible! The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from such a legendary restaurant, which has been around for 98 years. Despite its age, the place still maintains its pristine appearance thanks to recent renovations, and it is exceptionally clean. I cannot comprehend why anyone would criticize this restaurant; we had an absolutely amazing dining experience."

"The starters and service was good. The main course fillet was ok but the tomahawk was the worst steak I have had for years. When lived in nyc in 2022 and 2023, Bowery was my go to place but no more.....did hear from manager that they would look into but since then silence. Guess a fish rots from the top. Pity"

"My experience ordering online from Bon Bon was fantastic! They kept me up to date on the tracking and order status. I ordered the swedish berries as a gift for my father who used to have them all the time growing up but hasn't been able to find them for decades! It was so special to be able to gift something like that. Plus they included a complimentary sample of some swedish fish. Thanks BonBon for your excellent service!"

"The place is fantastic ... a Covid adjusted combined menu of East 15 and Tcqueville, while seafood sushi heavy allow for sufficient breadth for all palates. The food is as good as it has been for the last 20 years since opening and on top of that they created a tasteful outdoor area which makes you forget that you are eating in the street. Staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable so there is really nothing left to desire."

"I made a last minute reservation here for my graduation dinner, without taking into account my sister’s dietary restrictions. I am relieved to say she was very pleased with the restaurant’s gluten-free options.I have been here several times and I have yet to be disappointed. The warm ambiance and extensive wine list make it an ideal spot for a romantic evening."

"The restaurant offers a delightful mix of unexpected and outstanding flavors in every dish. Each dish was a pleasant surprise and a burst of flavorful joy. Despite being fully satisfied with five dishes, we couldn't help but want to try more menu items. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff who were meticulous in their service. The sommelier provided a perfect wine recommendation after asking several questions to understand our preferences. The noise level was high but added to the vibrant atmosphere of everyone enjoying the unique and excellent food combinations. We had a great time and will definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly."

"I stayed at The Fredrick Hotel and this restaurant is in some building, Ordered truffle pizza and it was perfect but what I didn’t like is altitude of the guy he looks like manager tall guy with tattoos, he was little bit disrespectful with his altitude, when I make order he didn’t say a word just turn around and left table , he barely said what you whant , you can’t be so full of yourself. And coming on dinner with friends, waiter spilled drink on my friend and he was smiling all night, he didn’t even look that he is sorry, and we sited outside, before they close they take all tables and chairs on one place , this guy who was doing that was throwing chairs and tables so hard I mean obvious he whanted us out but that is not how job is done in serious restaurants! I visited far worse places and they had at least better stuff who acted nice and polite!"

"Superb! The garlic bread is amazing. We did the tasting menu which included 8 dishes in 4 courses. We had 2 vegetable dishes, 2 pasta dishes, meatballs, cod, polenta, and dessert. Every dish was flavorful and carefully thought out for a perfect bite. The desert was also amazing, definitely recommend this restaurant for a date night or small group gathering. The restaurant actually has 2 sections inside so there seemed to be a decent amount of seating/capacity but it’s popular so I recommend a reservation. We have passed by this restaurant many times and didn’t even realize we have been missing out. Will definitely go back."

"The food was very much like cardboard. Hard to pin down exactly, but there are a slew of these new restaurants (mostly Italian-esque) with great looking menus and a certain clinical, kitschy ambiance (I realize that sounds somewhat oxymoronic) that are super overpriced with food that’s mostly tasteless. It’s sad"

"Love this place. It has a kind of vibe especially post work hours. We chose to sit outside because the weather was great. The service was excellent. Loved the margaritas (recommended) the guacamole was the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s a must try as it comes with seven different salsas different spice levels. Quite a fun experience."

"Came her for my husbands birthday. The lobster chili was very good but worth the almost 40 dollar price point? Not really. Its just 4 tiny pieces of lobster and a small amount of good bisque. The steaks were okay, nothing mind blowing. The NY strip had little hard fat pieces for some reason. Both steaks were burnt on the top so when you ate it theres a weird bitter taste in some bites. The jalapeño mashed potatoes are a literal nightmare. Its pureed potatoes that are very very goopy, really not mashes potatoes consistency, that are blended with a reduction of jalapeño skins. Its that awful green color and they taste like grass. Just spicy grass goop. The lobster mac and cheese was the only redeeming factor. I actually enjoyed it but again not something to write home about. We literally couldn’t finish the food and just asked for the check to leave. I got a cocktail (forgot the name of) and my husband got a beer, both were dine. Service was fine. Overall very underwhelming and for the price point I would’ve expected at least good food. We’ve been to better steakhouses with exceptional food, cocktails, service, and desserts. In my humble opinion, this place is a skip for me."
