"The dishes and drinks were delicious all we ordered was well made and delicious. Our waiter was attentive and so informative when we explored drinks, he gave us feedback on the dominant ingredients. The music was a bit loud, but overall it was a great culinary experience."

"Red Peony was perfect for our family gathering of 8 for a Saturday lunch. We started with an assortment of appetizers and dim-sum--veggie spring rolls, pork dumplings, crispy purple yam with sesame, turnip cakes, and chicken soup buns. Everything was delicious! We shared entrees of seafood rice cakes, chicken broccoli, and shanghai fried rice. The portion sizes were large enough to feed everyone and we still had leftovers. Everything about Red Peony was wonderful--we'll definitely be back."

"A perfect evening. The lighting is bewitching. The diminutive space is right for the neighborhood and makes you feel like you've stumbled into a secret. The heavy velvet curtain inside the door shields those blessed to be inside from harsh winter chill and is reminiscent of passing the velvet ropes outside of Little Nels in 1988. You cannot select a bad wine from their list. The food is all enticing on the menu and, although decadent, its deeply-delicious on the tongue. The Cacio e Pepe pasta served on a thick ribbon of pasta was perfection al dente. The kale pesto on a homemade floppy pasta was complex and bright, and has the illusion of being healthy. The carbonara is just divine. Don't skip this neighborhood gem. Its worth every lira you have."

"Overpriced and in general an average restaurant. Nothing special to spent your time and money here, when you can find so many more restaurants to really enjoy your time. We had the vitello tonnato that was too average and overpriced. We also had the pappardelle ai funghi that was a good one though not so special only too expensive; the linguine alle vongole that were really good and the trancio di salmone that was overcooked and not a good one, not to mention that we had ordered asparagus with this one as a side and they arrived after we had finished our food. Finally we had their famous coffee and two sweets. Sweets were a gianduja cake that was delicious and the pecan pie that was below average. Coffee was just too expensive, nothing more! Overall, we paid for spaghetti as much as we would pay at a really good steakhouse and we didn’t enjoy our lunch."

"This place is freaking incredible! Wow!! We came here for my husband’s birthday and were blown away by the food. You know when you try places and your tastebuds are introduced to entirely new flavors? That was here for us and I am picky as hell!!We started with drinks, the sidecar and lychee. Totally on point! Next were the apps: crispy rice with spicy tuna, yellowtail with jalapeño, wagyu dumplings. WOW- the wagyu dumplings, a special that night, were mind-blowing!For our mains, we had the ribeye, miso cod and veggie tempura. The ribeye and miso cod were another level. We ended with the mochi.Service was excellent. I would love a vibe that was a bit sexier, louder music, but nonetheless, it was a fun night and vibe. Highly recommend!!"

"Remi was elegant but comfortable. The menu had some nice accompaniments and the service very good. I had the pumpkin and sweet mustard filled ravioli with a butter thyme sauce excellent. The roasted artichoke appetizer I shared with my husband was ample and delicious. We will be back."

"Given that it is a PANDEMIC and the world is upside down, the visit to Fraunces Tavern was a wonderful treat. Salute to you for service, great food and history!"

"Went out for breakfast with a friend and had a wonderful time out there. The menu is quite elaborate. If you love eggs especially, you will have plenty of options to choose from. Their Cheesecake of course is well know. And it did taste wonderful. Btw, they will generally handover the breakfast menu to you in the morning, but you can ask foe the bigger menu that has more options, including Cheesecake! There is paid parking right next door. So, it is quite convenient."

"food was spectacular. The Amish chicken was crispy and so filling. Keep this in mind: appetizers are pretty small portion so if you’re going with a big group, order a few. The entrees are extremely filling. I couldn’t finish my plate. Cider donut is a must! Minus one star for the slow service."

"DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!My friend and I showed up on a Thursday evening, food was ehhhh honestly not great we wouldn’t come back. however, what sealed the deal for us to NEVER return was that I tipped 11% and as we were walking out the lady STOPPED US AND SAID A 20% tip ADDED TO MY 11% WAS MANDATORY!!!I said No, I already signed it and I took my receipt as a copy as well. She was insanely rude after that and got all huffy and puffy. I understand wanting more, but food was not great, and after her claiming a 20% on top of what I already tipped was mandatory … like DONT COME HERE.I’m keeping my customer receipt, I wouldn’t put it passed them to try to “type it in wrong”."

"Nick Stef’s was an enjoyable experience, as usual. We were seated upon our arrival at a quieter area of the restaurant. Our server, Helena , promptly greeted us and took our drink orders. She was extremely pleasant and attended to all of our needs. Matthew, the GM, stopped by our table. He was super friendly and spoke with us for a while. He offered us information about our event. It was a great night! We will visit again for sure!"

"The food was definitely good! It was nothing spectacular though. The service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant felt clean. To start we ordered miso soup. It was excellent and possibly my favorite part. It was full of flavor, tofu, &seaweed.Next, we ordered the valentine roll, spicy girl roll, and your basic avocado roll. They were good- pretty average."

"Service was good, food was good but nothing remarkable. However, someone in our party ordered the spinach and ricotta ravioli entree pasta, seeing other tables with heaping plates of pasta. There were 6 quarter sized ravioli on the plate. 6. Again this was a basic vegetarian dish and was also somehow more expensive than anything else our party ordered including non pasta meat dishes… for maybe 2 oz of food. Ended up having to order an entire additional entree as that wouldn’t feed a toddler. If that’s your portion size for this dish, fine but maybe put it in the appetizer section? Just overall awkward and disappointing and not worth the price at all."

"After watching Jiro dreams of sushi and the fact that Nakazawa now has a star, my expectations going into this meal we’re very high. While many pieces were tasty, for the price there are better omakase experiences in the city. Exceptional attention to detail is lacking. Moths flying around the bar and Ikea cabinetry take away from what should be a refined experience. The publicly in the press seems to draw tourists rather than local regulars."

"The service was great, but the food did not live up to the hype in my opinion. The ambiance was great though. I didn't really enjoy my entree, the eggplant. It was sour and the very chewy, hard pieces of skin mixed made me not want to continue eating it. I tried liking it, but I had to get my husband to finish the rest. I had a similar dish recently at a different restaurant which didn't have a Michelin star and it was so much better. I enjoyed the ramp flatbread. The beef tartare was very flavourful. My husband said he enjoyed the duck fat chips the most though. The passion fruit souffle was okay."

"I often talk about Morandi, one of my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. Although not truly Italian like Pastis or Balthazar are not truly French but still a good rendition by Keith McNally. Scene-y, crowded and loud. We recently where in Chelsea and decided to go there for an early dinner. I started the meal with a house cocktail: the Lo Scosseze, made with Adberg whisky, Drambouie liquor and black walnut. Apparently not that many people order it because they do not like peaty whisky. Well, on my side I loved it."

"extremely tasty and beautiful option for beautiful vegan Italian cuisine! this restaurant had a massive vegan and vegetarian menu, and it was also not limited the basic pasta. I got the artichoke attizer and really enjoyed it. the star of the show was however the broccoli rabe pasta that I ordered. oh my god, it was so amazing! beautiful sitting outside and extra friendly staff and owners. I can't wait to hear it in the future!"

"Never order soda!! All of them are flat and apparently this is a common complaint according to staff. Went for Sunday brunch. The burger with fried egg not good. Fried egg over cooked, burger over cooked and the bacon under cooked. French fries came when we finished and were decent. Eggs Benedict, the English muffin was soggy, potatoes were less than a spoonful. Don’t bother!! The only reason for a 2 star was the waitress was very nice."

"Great local watering hole with excellent drink options you'd only expect from a much larger, more pretentious establishment. This place is cozy, warm and welcoming."
