"While it enjoyed a weekend getaway outside, Fat Man Reviews made his way to Drake's Brannon Crossing in Nicholasville, KY. Drake's is a small chain with 18 restaurants over 6 states. Drake is open for lunch, dinner and late dinner. We started with the BLT Tots, a great order of perpetrators covered with creamy Ranch Dressing, chopped bacon, crushed iceberg, Roma tomatoes and scalions. The perpetrators ts are out of a bag, but they were cooked and seasoned to perfection, with an excellent crunch. The ranch tasted homemade and was creamy and perhaps a tad salty. The bacon was well cooked and a good bite was added. Salad and tomatoes were fresh. This is a great appetizer that could easily be a meal. My fiancée tried the Mini Cheeseburger and a side salad. This comes with three minis, melted American cheese, salad, tomatoes and pimples. Ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard can be requested on this page. The burgers were well cooked, and we are slightly dry, but the melted cheese helped. The rolls and vegetables were fresh. The salad was a BLT salad covered and mixed in ranch. I decided to try the Buffalo Chicken Minis and Pommes. The dish is three chicken sandwiches with buffalo sauce on butter roasted rolls, blue cheese (Franch is available) and salad, tomato and pimples on the side. The chicken was well cooked and gives you beautiful portions. I wouldn't worry about the sandwich anymore. The blue cheese looked and tasted like in the house. The rolls were fresh again, the pommes, came out of a bag, but were also well cooked. Drake's Brannon Crossing offers various sandwich and burger options. They also offer Aqua Sushi, 20 beers on tap and a full bar. You have several TVs throughout the restaurant, so this is a great place to watch a game. The service was pretty good. Fat Man says Drake is admitted to Fat Man."
