"This restaurant was okay. It was very loud and the menu limited. Service was slow and they mixed up our main course which meant one of the people we were dining with actually had my meal in front of them and started eating it before there’s came out. This could have been avoided had they come out at the same time or our waitress had been the one to bring it. We had to switch meals as she had ordered hers low salt. Therefore while my husband was fine to eat the meal already dug into) we were sharing, I was having no part of it. I did enjoy my appetizer of Burrata salad with peaches, which became my dinner. My husband who ate the duck said it was just okay could have been rendered more. The crispy polenta was delicious and the highlight of the main course. I had to get up and go to the bar to get another glass of wine, I waited for the waitress to check back but eventually got it myself. While this restaurant was not for me, I do believe it could be a nice spot under different circumstances and I think if you like more down home cooking this could be a good fit. Also, this was a very busy Saturday night, perhaps midweek would be less noisy. Also while service was not perfect, everyone we interacted there was very friendly."

"THIS PLACE AND THERE EMPLOYEES IS HORRIBLE!!!...they don't pay attention to customers, when there order was placed, and how to make the order correctly. They put together an ugly sandwich without all the toppings I requested AND PAID FOR....DIDNT SAY SORRY FOR ALL THE INCONVENIENCE THEY CAUSED!!!! I WOULD RECOMMEND NO ONE GOING IF YOU WANT PROFESSIONAL CURTIOUS AND EFFEIENCY. "I'm using my wife's account, being a GM for Dominos product quality and customer service is everything to me AND my team. I stopped by after an 11hr day and just wanted a brick oven style pizza because you guys absolutely rock it!! Unfortunately, I arrived 25 mins before close and asked the employees if it was okay to order.. being in the industry I felt bad but just had a craving for your pizza!! You guys need to work on customer service.. second time I've been her and received no greeting and just rude service. I usually tip $20 to each person for making the food, but after watching the TM wipe the dough scraper off on the trash can before going to make food.. I kinda lost it! The same way you lost my loyalty . This sucks more for me than it does you, I promise. If you need help training your team please reach out to me and I got you!! Best wishes"

"My husband and I stopped by for lunch and had a wonderful experience! The price is reasonable with $25 each person for both bbq and hotpot. Our server was incredibly welcoming and attentive, promptly changing the grill as needed. The food was amazing, especially the spicy beef bulgogi for BBQ and the ribeye beef for hotpot. The meat was tender and flavorful. Definitely gonna come back next time I'm in the area."

"I had a group of friends join me at Bodegas because my wife and I really enjoyed it in the past. I regretted taking them there after 15 minutes. There was only one waitress and it took her 45 minutes to bring our drinks. And that's only because I came and got her. I told her we wanted to cancel the order and she said the drinks were ready. She then proceeded to tell me that she can bring them immediately. Then why did we have to wait so long if they were ready? It's water for crying out loud! Half of the alcohol we ordered came from a can. There were maybe 20 people in there and only one group was eating. They were a larger table and they got there after we did. Super annoying. Wish I had left. I felt very disrespected and embarrassed for bringing my guests there. It's really disappointing because in the past we really enjoyed the place."

"The food and service is amazing here! Their BBQ wings are always their goto. I was recommended by a friend I worked with to try it out and the very first time I went I wasn't disappointed. Then i ironically moved across the street from them and went a few times while living there. Fair to say I haven't had an issue one time out of around the 10 times I've ate at this establishment. This is mainly a take out restaurant. I have never seen anyone eat in at this place but that's fine there is more parking available to anyone that goes."

"Food: Polpo Cannellini beans to start…a delight! Large enough plate to satisfy your need for more of the flavour but small enough not to ruin the next fabulous course. Oh My! The next course. Scallops with fennel sambucca risotto. Out of this world delicious! Umami flavour doesn’t even cover it! You could have served me the risotto alone and I would have been in heaven. I usually avoid a risotto as it is something I often cook at home but glad I went against my rules this time. The sweetness of the fennel the saltiness of the scallops and the rice was cooked to perfection…dreamy. Dessert was not as impressive and maybe I should have quit while I was ahead but obviously my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Service: Sat at the bar. Bar tender was conscientious and had good knowledge of the food menu to give recommendations etc. He was also able to go off menu to cater to my preference for classic cocktails. He mixed a great dirty gin martini. Also paired a lovely wine for my dinner choice which I could have happily drank food or no. Atmosphere: Small outside area for seating but it is on the road and only for pairs. Good amount of bar seating. Generic decor/art. Generic music. But to be honest the food and drink was so good the surroundings hardly even registered."

"A cozy and warming restaurant with a great atmostphere and friendly service. The food was extremely fresh and amazing. I had the spinach and artichoke which was my absolute favorite! I wish I caught our waitress's name because she was so kind and funny and made the whole experience that much better. The food is also extremely well priced for the quality and freshness you get. "I had the molcajete which was very tasty, and very spicy. The others in my group all had issues with their dishes. One was so spicy it was almost inedible. Another had enchiladas with a tomato sauce that tasted like a sweet Italian tomato sauce. The servers were friendly but were having trouble keeping up and delivering things we asked for on a timely basis. Definitely a restaurant to try and make sure to ask the staff what they recommend."

"This restaurant never fails great food delivery is always fast. I love getting them to cater my kids party’s so I can enjoy the party too. They make a sub that is 5ft long called the super sub that feeds all my guests w plenty to spare the Italian sub is just like a ny deli style. Love it will continue to cater from them for every occasion!"

"Walked in and met the nicest barista ever named Brittnay. I had told her how shortly before I came here I had dropped my favorite pair of earrings down the drained and was upset about it but loved hers !! After our amazing food came out she brought me a little box with a note and the earrings she was wearing in them !!! I absolutely enjoyed my time here and couldn’t have asked for better service! "My husband and I ate at this adorable diner this morning. The staff was extremely friendly. Our waitress told us she was new and it was so nice to see the other staff rally around to guide her (I mention this because we did not see this type of interaction where we ate yesterday and it was so disheartening. . The staff here acted like family. We left with full bellies. My husband had a cheese omelette with home fries. I had the breakfast special fried shrimp eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon. It was SO good! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the shrimp was seasoned just right. It came with a side of grits YUM!! The coffee was hot and my mug was topped off frequently."

"I’ve been here before and the food is great and our server was great which is why I thought it was a good idea to have my daughter’s baby shower here for a party of 30+ people . I’ve called twice to inquire about making a reservation .. the first time I got good information but didn’t reserve .The second time I called about 45 minutes ago) I experienced the same thing I did when I called in a to-go order one time before .. except this time was more rude .Both persons who answered the phone put me on hold for way too long and let me hear all this noise in the background and took too long to come back to the phone . This time I said “can I speak to the manager? “ I didn’t even get a chance to say why I was calling to reserve a large party) and the person puts the phone down without saying “hold on” or “just a Moment”, “BET” … “okay “ or nothing and just leaves me on “hold” to listen to all that noise in the background. They need some customer service phone etiquette training .It should not be this hard to give y’all our money . Customer service matters .. Do better . Again .. to be fair .. The food is excellent .. nice atmosphere and the server we had that one time was great .. but I’m not taking a chance on inconsistent customer service for my daughter’s baby shower. We’ll go somewhere else . Customer service MATTERS."

My first experience I would give a 4 but only because waitress did a great job. My second visit however I ordered a boil, thinking that?s their specialty, since that?s the name of the place. They sent me a half cluster of crab legs with no claw and half of the big leg missing, one small potato with a frozen corn. Couldn?t get any butter from waitress"

"The food there was so delicious and the people there were very friendly. I would come back again. 7/30/24 Update: Since moving back to the DC area I still always make a stop here when going to VA Beach as my kids love the food (smash burger and dull whip). They have made great additions to their menu as well as to the outdoor seating area! If I was still in the area, I would definitely come by here on Wednesday and Thursday evenings as they now can serve adult beverages. I would give more than five stars if I could, and I can’t wait to use them for catering as Rich and Maricen are always friendly and hospitable in addition to making tremendous food!"

"This was my first upscale restaurant after returning to the States after eating foreign foods for about two years or so, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were there. The jumbo shrimp appetizer was seasoned well. The salmon entree was executed flawlessly. I never had maple glazed brussel sprouts before. That was delicious. Everything on the plate complimented one another very well. The ambiance was really nice. The service was great as well. I definitely would return.Sidebar: If you are very impatient or hate waiting in general, this may not be the place for you. If you have certain dietary restrictions, this may not be the place for you as well. The wait time to receive your food is very long. I ate my brussels sprouts cold to avoid waiting on some that were at least warm. They were still good, so personally, I didn't mind as much. Just be mindful that if you are someone who is impatient or if you complain a lot, this may not be the place for you. However, I do still recommend it because the food is very good. I am just not sure how you will avoid the wait time.NOTE:Also, be mindful that 18% gratuity is already included in your bill.See the example below:Example: if you are doing separate checks, that will be 18% being paid by each person. If you want to tip more, that's fine as well. The card swiper has the option to tip more. Just remember, the server is automatically getting a tip.
