"Cannot say enough about Dylan and Dana and this Norfolk treasure. They catered our daughter 's wedding a year ago and people still tell us it was by far the best 'wedding food ' they have ever had. A year later, we just went to have lunch--Beef Brisket and the killer fries with the garlic aioli--because even just thinking about the food made us almost literally drool. The service is just as hospitable, welcoming and exemplary as the service they provided a year ago at the wedding. You will LOVE your food AND relational experience at Pendulum."

"Made a reservation. Waited 20 minutes before someone came over to take our drink and food order. Once drink and food order was taken, waited another 20 minutes and still didn’t receive a simple drink order of soda and water. Left after a total of 40 minutes of waiting without a drinks or food. Highly understaffed and waiters/waitresses that did see us waiting patiently cared more about tending to the customers that had already ordered food"

"Our dinner was quite nice at the steak house. And true enough, we ordered steak. They had an amazing collection of wines that pair quite well with the steaks. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, and they were kind enough to have 4 on the plate instead of 3 pieces. I guess my only grouse, had I to find one, they didn't leave a bread basket on the table and I had to keep asking for it, but the bread was just amazing! Wow! Parking: There is a valet service, and a few blocks south is a parking garage"

"This is an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. They have plenty of cooked food apart of the same menu, too, without increasing the price. Drinks do cost extra, though, and gratuity is charged to groups of 6 or more people.Lunch is $15.99 a person, and dinner is $22.99 a person. It's very affordable considering what you're getting. Food is great quality despite being an all-you-can-eat with tons of choices.Parking is not great. They do not have a parking lot for their business, and you will have to park on the sides streets. Carpooling or Ubering is recommended.They do work with Uber eats. You can get food delivered, but it is individually priced. Getting it delivered is more expensive than coming in to eat.Vegetarian options: They have vegi only rolls, appetizers, and entrees apart of the all-you-can-eat here."

"beautiful atmosphere! much bigger than expected. love that there is a safe guardpatron parking above the road. the food selection was great and tasty, even if it was a paired menu for theater evening. especially our waitress suzanne was phenomenal! she was friendly, helpful in wine and menu suggestions and very efficient. we had a fabulous experience at Leone’s! thanks!"

"eating is always very good. tonight there were some problems; a very loud ladies birthday party (sounded like a gymnasium of high school), lukewarm (but otherwise delicious) suppe, and a little cool in the dining room. we're going back. that was anomaly. I was back twice last month. the chicken dish was very tasty, but the chicken was dry, overcooked. Yesterday I got the cape cod ruben. tasty chicken wings had two very tasty diving sauce, but again, overcooked. interesting food options. delicious. just a few weaken."

"perfect frank is a popular hot dog joint by odu; the menu is quite extensive, among them various appetizers, burger, cold and hot sammies, chili, breakfast items, melt, salads, wings, HH specials, in addition to hot dogs and sausages. we came here early in the afternoon and ordered: deep deep fried mac biss size deep fried mac and cheese 'patente' which were quite good; I think they use something similar to the power mac n 'cheese; they 're in every case on the salty end a knockwurst with chili, cheese and swirl this was more on the salty end, and definitiw prepared super well made; I was really a fan of the knockwurst still the chili sweet tee the staff is quite friendly, and there are many sitting opportunities (high top pages, counters and tables) as well as some outside for those who would like to eat. there are dosed parking around, but there are also some restricted parking a few blocks away. cute tee friendly personal metered parking in the opposite"

"I've been planning to visit Omar's Carriage House for ages now, but I don't get over to Norfolk very often from Newport News. Made a special trip over the water to hit up some of my wishlist locales for my birthday―SO glad we made it to Omar's! Food was fantastic, service was prompt and professional. Shout-out to everyone in the kitchen for a wonderful meal, as well as our awesome server Ben, who was not only well-informed and knowledgeable, but also very welcoming and accommodating. (Plus, the tip-off about the Pagoda Garden was spot-on; not only was it full of Pokémon as promised, but a gorgeous place we had never been to. Thanks to all involved for an excellent experience and great cap to my special day! :D"

"I ate at the Little Dog Diner last summer and I can't stop thinking about the delicious food! My server Carl was wonderful and knew the menu throughly. We sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful patio the owners had built. If I lived closer I'd be there every weekend! I had the french toast platter and let me tell you that maple bourbon sauce was to die for. Want a good affordable breakfast place to eat that is privately owned check out the Little Dog Diner!!!"

"Pet friendly! Waitress was fun, energetic and informative. We had a little dog with us, so we sat outside on the patio. Service was great and the food was delicious. They had a very extensive menu with so many options it was hard to choose which rolls we wanted more. If you like fried oysters, try the fried oyster appetizer."

"My daughter usually orders takeout from here and is generally pleased. This formed our decision to try dining in. I was very disappointed with the customer service and set up. They bring your food packaged for takeout, even if you're dining in. They don't check on you or anything. For $50+, I just had higher expectations. The portions seemed to be considerably smaller versus when she's previously ordered takeout. The beverage choices are limited. I bought bottles of water; they were warm. The food was flavorful, but I don't think I'll be back. I'm just disappointed."

"We enjoy their lunch buffet. They alter what is being served from day to day so that it never gets boring. At least one dish each day is a bit spicy, but not overly. The vegetable curries are bright with none of the heavy muddiness of some other Indian restaurants. Each day has long-grained rice with a fresh clean flavor and a perfect just past al dente consistency. If you are lucky, you might be there when they have the special fish dish with a bright reddish brown sauce that is amazing over the rice. I'm not good with the names, but the potatoes with mixed vegetables is worth the trip alone. Chicken dishes with occasional beef ones alongside vegetables specialities are the norm. Fresh warm flatbread is brought out throughout the service. The atmosphere is super pofessional. Servers and busboys are in constant motion. This is a place with cloth napkins and real table cloths the are changed between each customer. The staff is observant and quick to anticipate and respond to diners' needs. Be advised, this is not a dieter's buffet. The food is healthy, but not on a rapid weight loss program. So if you're dieting, pick a day to splurge and enjoy."

"This is our main take out place near our house (after we stopped going to No. 1 at Roosevelt, who changed hands/ownership . The service at Golden China is always friendly and they make the food fast! We ordered a couple combo meals last night. The Sesame chicken was on point! It was crispy and cooked perfectly, plenty of sauce too. My moo goo gai pan meal came out great, plenty of vegetables. The rice was moist not dry, a plus I like that they add lots of fresh green onion to it. They seem to have a thriving drive up business (since they stopped dine in .. It’s a shame about their smashed up large sign and one corner of the bldg got rammed, but they’re working on it, I saw. : I really wish some kind soul from the community would donate them a new sign, if able they deserve it! We like to support our local businesses and this one has been in that spot for decades."

"Need a quick service and good food? This is the place to go. I have been here over 10 times and today I decided why not give a review. I went in for lunch today and it really made my day. The service and food were fantastic. It was quiet and peaceful. I ordered the Bento lunch box and a fog cutter. The lunch box is always on point. The fog cutter really cut the fog because I feel so much better than I did when I walked in. As a fellow restaurant employee, I really appreciate this place because with just 3 visable staff members they manage to make it all run smoothly! "As for the chicken broccoli teriyaki bowl, I wasn't as impressed. It seemed slightly overcooked, giving it a "mushy" texture that reminded me of a microwave meal. On the other hand, the brownies are my favorite item from the bakery—soft, sweet, and rich, they truly melt in your mouth. I like to break them into smaller pieces since I'm focused on healthy eating, even though I have a serious sweet tooth!"

"The worst Mexican food Ive ever had. EVERYTHING WAS BLAND AND FLAVORLESS. Didnt taste like authentic Mexican at all. The Al pastor nachos have sooo many ingredients and for some reason theres no taste! I also assorted empanadas and it was disgusting. None of the meats tasted seasoned. Just mush inside deep fried puff. Bland. The only decent thing was the horchata"

"Really cool little bistro, which is something out of the way. I didn't even know there was an area for business in this part of the city. The sweet potato fries are the best I have. The burger I got was really good, but it was literally dripping with fat and that made the bungalow soggy... still good enough that I would get it again!"

The sever ensured our we were served promptly and graciously in order for us to get to our show on time. I ordered the lamb and my wife the steak. Both dishes were exceptional.
