"My husband brought me to Razzo for my first experience two weeks ago for a date night. This wonderful restaurant is housed in a former fire station and we loved it.After taking our drink order, they brought out a small loaf of fresh in house made bread with butter which was so very tasty. I would visit this restaurant just for the bread.We ordered an appetizer called Roasted Garlic $15) which had two large cloves of roasted garlic, several different peppers, olives, peppers, sun dried tomatoes and warm goat cheese. Wow, this was an amazing and flavorful treat for our tastebuds. I highly recommend ordering this even if you don’t order anything else…it’s that delicioso!For our entrees, we ordered the Grilled Tuna with Asparagus $28) and we ordered the Meat Lasagna $23). We made a slight mistake and ordered the tuna medium….less cooked would have been awesome. It was still tasty but had we ordered it differently, we would have really loved it.The Meat Lasagna is a huge portion covered in marinara sauce. This is really large enough to share or to have leftovers for another meal. I loved the first several bites but I have to say that I feel like the sauce overpowered the taste of the meats and cheeses. The sauce is really tasty, but next time, I will order the sauce on the side. I love Lasagna and this was a really good one.We ordered a glass of Chianti $8), a red Zinfandel $9) and a beer called El Guapo $6). The wines were really good, the beer was ok and I’m glad I tried it and I don’t need to again. It’s fun to try new beers and how could I pass up one called El Guapo! Our total bill fir all of this was barely over $100.I loved this restaurant and highly recommend if you are visiting Norfolk or working on the Naval Base as it’s nearby.Our server was Sara and she was friendly and welcoming. She was as attentive as we wanted and needed."

"We were in Norfolk for a few nights for work and my wife commissioned me to find a good Italian restaurant. Looked online and decided on Luce but unfortunately they were booked the night we had free so I left a voicemail expressing my interest in dining there. Much to my surprise I received a call later that afternoon and we were in! That was just the beginning of a great experience. The hostess was super friendly and our server, I believe Crystal B, was Outstanding!! She made great recommendations and her detailed description of the wines was impressive. As one reviewer had mentioned it takes a little while to prepare the food, our server mentioned that to us as it was due to most entrees being made from scratch, Well worth the wait!! Definitely will return. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Italian Creamcake, Mini Cannoli, Veal Saltimbocca, Mussels Di Luce"

"This was my first visit and boy the food is way past awesome. My friend and I both ordered the Wednesday Special, which was lobster, I chose fried shrimp as my side and my friend chose the crab cake. My shrimp tasted like they were fresh caught, the meat was sweet. My friend is a crab cake connoisseur, and she gave the crab cake a thumbs up. Oh and the lobster was also superb. I love a good salad, and champagne raspberry vinaigrette was the bomb. Then to finish it off, we shared the most delicious warm bread pudding, served with cream. The service was excellent, our waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be returning. Thanks to Freemason Abbey for a wonderful dining experience."

"This is my favorite new Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and the portions are so large that most plates can be shaded. My children are super picky eaters, but so far they love the food so much they have ordered different dishes each of the 4 times we have gone. This will probably be the new place of my family."

"worst experience. the owner was disrespectful. I'm vegan and the food I ordered was fried with regular eating and I wasn't informed. I'm allergic to garnel and I felt sick immediately. the owner also paid me and tried to throw me down. I also didn't get anything from my food and was charged for it, and in order to end it astonishingly, they gave me the wrong food at first, and that had meat that I couldn't eat, which was on the table for someone else. I was lucky I noticed because the staff didn't. the owner has no great. the owner has been in business for “23 years” as she told me, but she is still a amateur in civil."

The guy at the counter is very friendly,if your short money he will let you slide and trust you to come back next time to pay it back. "This place is not so much a café, as a rented place in a building that was converted into a living room with a cooler and coffee machine. I had to make my own cup of coffee and then I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip... Like I would serve you???? I couldn't order food because the grill was downstairs. The owner wouldn't let me use her Wi-Fi either. If you look at this place among the cafes around the world, this is the worst and should be placed at the end of the list."

"I was told that this place has good BBQ and that the banana pudding was so good. We were in the area that had already eaten in another facility, so I thought I was over for the banana pudding to finish my meal. My husband ordered some burned ends for later. Well, when I went to the car, I saw my bowl of pudding, I kept in my tracks, because I couldn't believe that the 2 spoons of pudding I was just for $4.50?. They give a very small place of pudding, it's ridiculous. My husband likes the meat, but I will order NIE the dessert again. It tastes good, but my aunt makes it just as good, so I'll wait for it. So I have to limit my stars because of the portion size compared to the price."

"Didn't know it was under new ownership. Bad move. Phoned in my order. Got hung up on once and after calling back to back I finally got an answer and stayed on phone to take the order which I had to repeat multiple times. I showed up to get my order and the lady who I placed the order with did not even make eye contact with me. She just stood there writing something down as I waited for like 5 min. I also did not like the fact that she had an ear bud in her ear. I also work in the server industry and that is a big NO NO. I have my phone on me at all times however my phone remains in my pocket on silent/vibrate so I know if there is a call I need to take/return. I was then spoken to by another gentlemen. Given all new faces on a place I frequented I asked if ownership transferred. He said yes that he was the new owner however all the prior staff had quit after being told they would stay. Can't say I blame them. Trying to pay for separate orders was an ordeal as well as our orders were all pretty much wrong. Food was nowhere close to even tasting the same as before. Really sorry that the owner sold and the staff left as I won't be a frequent flyer anymore. They get one star since they make us give a rating."

"The only reason why I'm giving 5 stars is because I CAN'T go any higher!!! This place is amazing ????????????????????!!! I came here on a recommendation from a fellow foodie and boy were they right! I had the Korean hot dog and let me tell you, this is my first time trying it and I already know this place has set the bar high on this!! So tasty, hot, spicy, salty, sweet and cheesy!!! I also ordered Famous Greg's Onion rings and they tasted like a combo of beer batter and tempura onion rings, EVERY BITE is better than the last!!! Lastly I had the Cambozzola burger, first bite and I was in Love!!! I'm a big believer in a World of Good, because this place just did me a world of good!!! Thank you for the wonderful meal, it brought up my mood!"

"When you want a Real Hamburger truly hot fries go to Manny 's. It 's small,it 's historic ,it 's GOOD. The double cheeseburger combo is a 'fill you up ' meal. The crinkled fries are hot,unseasoned but there 's plenty of salt/pepper a rich ketchup given. The sweet tea lemonade made fresh always refreshing (sorry NO refills). Feeling adventurous? "This was my worst meal in Norfolk in the past year. The service was slow, inattentive and unapologetic for the poor food outcomes. I had good experiences here before but this night the steak was over cooked, the replacement steak was very tough, hard to cut and the pomme frites were too salty to eat; the ahi tuna steak was cold from the first bite. Although the rustic beet salad, chocolate cake and cappuccino were good, it didn’t make up for the rest (main part) of the meal that was unacceptable. No one from management ever made an appearance or offered an apology. Greatly disappointing."

"My wife and I have been there several times and we love it. We always get one of the sweet crepes, but can't wait to have one of the savory. They look so good. The crepes are prepared fresh right before your eyes. There are a variety of both the sweet and savory crepes. Our favorite to this point was the Pomme, but we also really enjoyed the German, and one with brie and orange marmalade. The staff is gracious and quick to assist you. The venue itself is not fancy and has only a few indoor seats plus several outside tables. You can certainly get your crepes to go as many people do. Often we will eat another restaurant along Granby Street and then go to Lamia's for dessert. You should try it, I most highly recommend it."

"i have been to toast many times, but this time i was particularly pleased... we were offered a trough of water for our dog the moment we sat down. the waitstaff was so careful and went above and beyond to suit dietary restrictions of our party members... as usual, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is outstanding. you must sit outside in the garden, it is gorgeous and you will be surrounded by cute bees and stunning butterflies. (and normal flies, so keep an eye on your food, of course."

"yaya is yumyum! I had dinner here tonight and everything was delicious. I ordered seatangsalat, hot sour soupe and dampened dizzy dump, and my friend ordered chicken stable. everything we ordered was amazing, but above all the hot acid suppe. as a lover of the hot sour suppe, as I was a little child, I feel that I can offer an expert opinion on the teller, and I must say that this place serves one of the best dishes I have ever had! we will be back often!"
