"The seating arrangements were not spacious between each table, giving minimal privacy for a date, especially being on Valentines Day. The food was although I believe I may of been overcharged accidentally for my pizza and they only had thin crust. Drinks were good."

"Great selection of crepes and soft serve ice cream. The owner seemed very sweet and welcoming! We loved our ice cream cones. The only thing we wish for in the future is.. more Nutella inside the crepe. Mmm I am a sucker for Nutella. Otherwise, it was all very tasty!"

"I visited this location for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food we all ordered was of very good quality, with great preparation and flavorful spices. The pita bread was amazing and we all indulged a bit too much. The atmosphere is lively and bright with nice decorations. The restaurant also has a convenient parking lot. I will definitely be returning, as I can't think of a better Mediterranean restaurant in Portland with such great food, atmosphere, and prices."

"I had the pleasure of dining at Kati Portland recently, and I'm glad I did. The service here was exceptional the staff was not only accommodating and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Since I had never tried Thai before, they were more than willing to help me navigate through the options, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The ambiance at Kati Portland is a delightful blend of rustic and modern styles. The cozy and warm atmosphere instantly makes you feel at home. Creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Personally, I loved the Pad Thai. This dish was an absolute delight! The stir fried thin rice noddles crunchy bean sprouts, peanuts, and chives came together perfectly in their signature Pad Thai sauce. The flavors were a harmonious balance of sweet, savory, and a touch of nuttiness. The addition of soft tofu on the side elevated the experience even further. Kati Portland offers not only outstanding service but also an inviting ambiance and delectable dishes. This gem in Portland deserves all the praise. Can't wait to visit again soon!"

"Good sushi at great prices! You can come here and fill up on sushi without breaking the bank. If there is something on the menu that you want but isn't on the belt you can just order it and it's the same price. I have a conveyor belt sushi place a block away but I drive out of my way to go to this one. You really can't beat the prices here. Staff are very kind and they keep the place clean."

"the Mexican "Street" Tacos are my most favorite item on the menu. You get 4. I like that the corn tortillas are always soft fresh, the asada meat is so good along with the lime, grilled onions, fresh cilantro, avocado cheese. Combine all those together and you have the best Mexican Tacos ever. I highly reccommend them! And the Charo beans that is included is so yummy."

"We visited this café to sample various types of espresso and discover their extensive selection of coffee beans. Upon entering, we were greeted with a delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, showcasing their diverse range of beans. We savored our espresso, which boasted a flavorful richness thanks to their skillfully roasted beans. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we are excited to return for more of their coffee offerings in the future."

"The other day I was enjoying a meal at Yes, please (just around the corner) and I ran into a couple on the sidewalk). They were vegans and gluten free and were just returning from picking up an order at this (Better Half). They told me that Better Half had lots of vegan options and offered gluten free bread options. I tried to eat here a few times but I always seemed to turn up on the days there were closed. (They are also closed on Mondays). Anyway, I was leaving town on Tuesday and dropped in there. They serve on real plates nice. I ordered the roasted broccolini on a gluten free bun. It looked like a delicious sandwich and the taste lived up to the visual. It was exceptional. It was very tasty bold, flavourful, with great texture, and it was messy. I think a good sandwich is better if it oozes out some of its goodness. I wish that they were completely vegan and I would have given them a 5 star rating. Updated from previous review on 2022 12 03"

"My experience here was wonderful and I will certainly return in the future. The kitchen is looking and I love to watch her work. Although it is a small place, they have a decent amount of seating and a few tables on their covered outdoor terrace. Service here is very friendly. Get out to Aundre. They bring free olives upon arrival, which are buried and covered with a herbic oil. At the beginning I ordered the Salmón, which was beautifully built and burst with taste. Next was the ensaladilla rusa- the bread was soft on the inside and had crispy meerrot edges. The filling was creamy, but kept its shape, a mixture that raised the tuna and compliment. The main course of my choice was the halibut. Beautiful size piece fish, perfectly encrusted. The Clam Escabeche was simple and delicate. The roasted grapes have added to the ajo blanco sauce a sweet smokiness. For dessert I ordered the torrija-the idiazabal cheese ice cream has a savory and sweet taste, which complements the ruined strawberries. Because of the consistency of the ice, she seemed to have a hard time trying to place it as a snake. The brûléed toast was crispy and tasty, gooey on the inside."

"As luck would have it, I arrived on National Donut Day, observed on the first Friday of June. I was so happy to finally experience an all-vegan donut shop. There were so many appealing donuts that it took some time for me to narrow down my choices. There were plenty of customers during the lunch hour. The business requests that you wear a face covering inside."

"This place has a cozy atmosphere. Staff are all pleasant and friendly. We had a glass of wine (Swiss Pinot Noir), the Swiss onion soup, the Jägerschnitzel w/Chanterdles (specialities of the day), the Paprika Schnitzel and the ice coffee (which is like a coffeeshake). (this is a dessert that is like a coffee shake). All were delicious and full of taste. I would recommend it, but it is not a big restaurant with only 9 tables for two people. It is also open four days a week from 17:00 to 20:30, so it is best to make a reservation."

"WOW! Brings us right back to Maui. The best loco Moco we've had on the mainland. Ground beef patty was perfectly crisp outside and juicy inside. Full of flavor. Gravy was fantastic. Teriyaki sauce and the grilled chicken thighs were just scrumptious. New favorite Hawaiian food for sure in PNW."

"The low rating is for quality and taste level. I ordered the homemade turkey. I also added oil and vinegar. There is no moisture or condiment on the bottom bun. The dry turkey starts to dry out your mouth with each bite. I can appreciate real turkey but it's so dry. The coleslaw I added on as an impulse as a reaction to the prompt on the kiosk screen and was surprised that for $4.49 the serving was two 4oz cups. This is the equivalent of a level ice cream scoop or 1/4 measuring cup. The coleslauw was accurate but not above any other store bought coleslaw. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie. When I saw it at the bottom of the bag I could see it had broken into 8 pieces and it crumbled in my hand as I ate it. It tasted like butter, with chocolate chips. I ordered from a ghost kitchen in downtown Portland, a new concept that allows a third party to offer restaurant varieties in which you can buy memu offerings from chain restaurants that don't have a physical location in this market. The food was edible it just wasn't tasty."

"Stopped in here for a late lunch while exploring downtown Portland. From a group of outstanding restaurants in Portland, this is a ‘fast casual’ concept—order at a counter, then your food is brought to your table. There’s a spacious and nice outdoor seating area. Fantastic menu of Middle Eastern foods, reasonably priced for their quality. The falafel plate was fantastic—the falafel themselves were perfectly herbaceous on the inside, with a thick fried coating, and were not greasy. Accompaniments — salad, hummus, olives, etc., were delicious. A pita with chicken was also outstanding. Great for a quick, delicious lunch; will happily return!"

"Outstanding service, food and personal touch from the owner. First of all, I was a single diner but I still felt very welcomed. I also noticed that many of the customers are repeat and warmly greeted by the staff and owner. It was tough to choose what to order since everything was very appealing. For the appetizer I got the really nice roasted cauliflower, a wonderful treat with several harmonious flavors. That was followed by wonderful scallops. I suggest that you ask the owner to recommend wine even if you think you know a lot about wine. Just tell him what you like and he will provide a great selection."

"I had a great experience at Tight Tacos, located on Cesar Chavez, right by the mini mart. The owners and their children are genuinely involved in the community, and you really feel the homemade touch in their food. What stands out to me is the quality of everything they offer. Their customer service is excellent, the tacos are delicious, and their evolving menu is impressive. During the pandemic, they briefly stopped serving steak because they couldn't ensure high quality, and I appreciate that they didn't compromise on their standards. This place has adapted beautifully to its surroundings, responding to customer feedback and changing their offerings based on availability and their mission. It’s a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!"
