"This place has a cozy atmosphere. Staff are all pleasant and friendly. We had a glass of wine (Swiss Pinot Noir), the Swiss onion soup, the Jägerschnitzel w/Chanterdles (specialities of the day), the Paprika Schnitzel and the ice coffee (which is like a coffeeshake). (this is a dessert that is like a coffee shake). All were delicious and full of taste. I would recommend it, but it is not a big restaurant with only 9 tables for two people. It is also open four days a week from 17:00 to 20:30, so it is best to make a reservation."

This place was delicious! It is a must to visit when you come to Portland! The staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend. The dishes were unique and very well made! And her desert (the Coupe Denmark) was delicious. One of my favorite dishes was the sautéed mushroom. I would also recommend the Swiss onion soup!

Most foods were very good. The fondue was fantastic. A few things were a bit off, the Swedish hashbrowns were not good and the apple cake would have been fine if it had been served hot instead of cold. The service was amazing and I like the ambience. You need to clear the bathroom door so that it is more accessible for a wheelchair.

I wanted to try this place for a while, so it was thrilled to get a reservation when I was in town on weekends. The Sauerbraten speciality tasted just as my German grandmother had prepared it. My friend explained the craggy carving the best she ever had. We also had the fondue and it was fantastic. We went with a few bottles of fantastic salad dressing; hope I can order more online. Service was 5 stars plus. Can't wait to come back.
