"nougatine at jean georges is the perfect pre-lincoln center dining place. our waiter was very nice when he came beyond the programmed what brings you to us today? and service was attentive. the early evening views of columbus circle at this time of the year are funny. the pointed zehenkuchen appetizer was excellent. unfortunately the lachs was overcooked. the list of weeping through the glass offered some very nice choices. the exquisite amuse beech before dinner were thin sparing in a spicy panko crust with a lemon based dipping sauce. the French pommes were too salty. dessert was the always excellent warm varona chocolate cake. we're coming back. not always perfect, but close."

"Nougatine at Jean Georges is a great choice for a pre-show dinner near Lincoln Center. Our server was friendly once he went beyond the scripted greeting. The early evening views of Columbus Circle were enjoyable. The crab cake appetizer was delicious, but unfortunately the salmon was overcooked. The selection of wines by the glass was impressive. The amuse bouche before the meal consisted of asparagus in a crispy panko crust with a tangy lemon sauce. The French fries were too salty. The highlight of the meal was the always fantastic warm Valrhona chocolate cake for dessert. We plan to return, as despite a few flaws, our overall experience was nearly perfect."

"my excitement to take my wife to eat at bb for months. I heard about it in the wmal radio and couldn't wait. I would read and read their website. the first red flag was when I asked for reservations. the person who answered the phone simply said hello, not answer with the name of the restaurant, so I had to ask to ensure. then I could hardly understand what they said, so I called again when it came closer to the special date. the same thing happened. Thank you, when we arrived, we had reservations, because noone was allowed to feed only when they had stopped. now for a culinary experience. our waiter was new and knew nothing about the bourbons and even told me about the available flights. he also knew nothing about any of the foods because managment and peculiarities do not offer any possibilities for one of the server to try them. obsurd. now to the only positive part of the experience, except the company of my amazing braut of 39 years. eating was amazing. one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife's cured. the seafood we had with the steak (scallops and lobsters) were also perfectly cooked and were amazing. all that has said, the hard wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and your almost sitting in the round of the people beside you. we had to be lucky to sit next to a Gung-ho-Military guy who thought the F word was manifold. we must have heard it at least 75 times. Thank God it was good to eat. one last thing. eating is too expensive."

I only have excellent things to say about food workers (most of them have been working here for 10 years). They are a big family and so welcoming to everyone. The owner Chris is an amazing person and so passionate about the business. It is also great and flexible to work with book parties, any size small or large. I admire how much he strives to support local businesses by offering various food drinks specialties from Long Island all NY. Most dressings and desserts are made in house cheesecake, apple cabbage, chocolate mousse, blueberries basket, oreo cheesecake, etc "

"great ny strip steak and service we always wanted to taste one of these steak houses, and this was close to our hotel. we liked that they could share a steak, so we tried the NY strip with a sweet potato casrole. it was excellent and cooked to order. we treated and shared the peanut butter cake that was very good. we got super service from their employees, and although the meal was expensive, it was good value."

"We opted for the tasting menu with the drink pairing and had a great time. The food was diverse and delicious, the service was excellent, and we loved the cozy atmosphere of our private booth. Some of the dishes were a bit spicy, and a few of the drinks were strong for our taste, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Our server, Steven, was friendly and knowledgeable. "We had a reservation but had to wait a while to get a table by the fireplace. Very noisy so hard for my older mother to hear conversation. Food was ok and decent value. Loved the smaller portions for senior meals. Nice wedge salad. Server was really good. While the website said there was a vegan menu (the reason we went there vs Clare’s or Schulers) it didn’t really exist. There was a vegan burger that worked ok. Suggest you actually develop a vegan menu, would be unique in Battle Creek."

"This is the first local place that blew my socks off, we’re talking slap your grandma good. I took my fiancé here on a date and WOW!We started with Gyoza (pork dumplings) and the server brought them out so fast it felt like they popped out of thin air. They were the perfect flavor and crispy-ness for a fried dumpling. For dinner we had teriyaki chicken and the steak and chicken. We both got the regular size instead of the large, but I was stunned with the portion size. She’s the pregnant one, but I definite look pregnant now too because it was SO MUCH FOOD. I don’t typically eat carbs, but when I saw the fried rice I could resist a bite. Genuinely the best I’ve ever had. Plus the sauce on the side was to die for. Lastly for desert we got the fried banana with vanilla ice cream and it was fantastic! Just the right sweetness, and again, huge portion (definitely enough to share between us).I couldn’t be happier with my experience here tonight and I’ll definitely be bringing friends and family regularly.Also, thanks Emma for the awesome service! Best service on this side of the Mississippi for sure!"

"We went to my mother's birthday on Saturday night. I definitely recommend reservations. Our waiter was very nice. Great family restaurant atmosphere. When a waitress accidentally fell a glass near our table, glass pieces flew to our table. Our waiter and manager have quickly cleaned us from our table and brought us new water and appetizers. Well, about the food. It was just okay. The best was fried zucchini. Everything looked good, but Bland was except my sister's steak. The steak was cooked for perfection, but was very salty. I'd go back to see if Saturday went out a night, but it wouldn't be my first choice."
