"'Twas the night of the fateful Ed Sheeran concert that was cancelled...When my husband and I decided to try Made in Argentina... not realizing until we turned onto Tropicana that we were headed into the heart of the throng. Where are all these people walking to? Nevermind, said we, the restaurant parking lot was relatively accessible despite the traffic, and we arrived early enough to avoid a heavy dinner time rush. Everyone else was clearly going to the mysterious event we had no idea about. As we walked into the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to see an ample patio with numerous tables with umbrella covers, and a spacious interior that was already bustling. There were plenty of tables left, however, and we grabbed one. Good thing we did...Because by the time we ordered, the concert had been cancelled, and the overheated, parched and hungry masses were showing up in droves...You 'd think this would be an out of the way location, but Made in Argentina... you 've made a GREAT choice, and I suspect you 're going to have a very VERY booming business, concerts or no concerts. And that 's perfect, because your business model lends itself to the perfect dining in experience, full of tasty entrees and friendly, helpful waitstaff who seem to be family whether they are or not... as well as the perfect takeout/delivery menu consisting of a wide variety of empanadas and pizzas. We of COURSE had to try the empanadas for starters. I went with the blue cheese and mushroom which was oozy and divine, and I encouraged my husband to forego his default ham and cheese for the corn and red pepper which he was very pleased with! They were served with 3 varieties of spiced chimichurri, and I 'm a total wuss, so the mild was all I could handle, though I ate my own and my husband 's over the course of the meal.My inner Jiminy Cricket told me to not pass up on the potato salad and he was right... deliciously homemade, chock full of veggies and creamy mayo, and oh my, just what I needed. I also had an ample mixed veggie house salad to go with. My husband ordered the chicken schnitzel platter which came with rice, hummus, a large basket of pita bread and sliced bread that we both shared, as well as a side salad. Bottled coca colas here, folks, the real deal.I bet their pizza is good, and their sandwiches looked killer... so we WILL be returning. I will not miss a second helping of potato salad for sure, and look forward to trying out some other items on the menu!"
