"Tavern at Lakeside offers great drinks and food along with a lackluster dining experience. Firstly, the layout was not well thought out. Especially on busy nights, like a Friday, it feels like walking through a Tokyo subway station. Secondly, I guess their A/C was not working this night because the temperature and humidity was akin to a reptilian habitat. Thirdly, the place has a fly problem. My wife and I spent most of our time fighting off the horde of flies that were harassing us throughout out dinner. I think some ceiling fans would?ve helped with the temperature and flies, but there are none. The food was alright. Highlight of the meal was definitely the fries which were seasoned well...

What a charming tavern! We even brought the dog, they have provided their water and dog baby! A treat for all of us, the food was well prepared and delicious. Great choice on the menu! Upscale atmosphere with the most friendly staff and ALL going into operation!

This is a wonderful restaurant. From the atmosphere to the food everything is spectacular! You have a ton outside seats and the bar opens the terrace! I had the fried golf shrimps and it was perfectly cooked! The friend I was with, and the Jalapeño cream based soup (berries do not remember the actual name) and it was phenomenal. The taste of this soup hits the spot! So much taste! Girl Night or Date Night or a Saturday lunch place, make sure to add this to your list! I can't wait to go back!

We went for Valentine? Day and it was absolutely amazing. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak and potatoes. Our server name was Maggie and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was so fast and had great communication! She literally made the night go so smooth and we felt so well maintained. The tavern is very happy to have it, and I recommend an increase if you have not already been given. After the pandemic it is really hard to find people who want to work, let alone actually take care of the people they serve and they are definitely a diamond in the rough! She was so friendly and very attentive will return with only one request that we have Maggie as our server! RECOMMENDATION!!!
