"We went for Valentine? Day and it was absolutely amazing. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak and potatoes. Our server name was Maggie and she was absolutely phenomenal. She was so fast and had great communication! She literally made the night go so smooth and we felt so well maintained. The tavern is very happy to have it, and I recommend an increase if you have not already been given. After the pandemic it is really hard to find people who want to work, let alone actually take care of the people they serve and they are definitely a diamond in the rough! She was so friendly and very attentive will return with only one request that we have Maggie as our server! RECOMMENDATION!!!"

Delicious food. Friendly staff and quick but not rushed service. Chill atmosphere and lots of outside seating. Can't wait to return! Schnitzel and German potato salad were amazing!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Extensive Scotch and Bourbon selection. Good craft beer selection. Great service from my server on the table. At the time I went, it sat itself, but there was no sign that, and I stood at the Hostess counter for over 5 minutes before one of the three employees who look directly at me said something. All other staff I met were friendly and attentive. I spent a little more than usual as I had received 2 drinks, a duck and a dessert over a 3 hours time.

Good food, fairly priced drink, good service. Sad to see the outside bar closed today, on an unusually cool day for Texas, late June. Inside is super dark for my taste, but in all fairness, it's what some people seek a tavern for in the first place. Definitely recommend the outdoor bar area, and their burger is bomb. Had this salad today, it was about 17 heads of lettuce, but the chicken was perfectly grilled, fresh, and seasoned well, and their Caesar dressing is fair. Croutons were house made, and yummy. Fries are the jam, every time. HILARIOUS selection of music videos, (as well as plenty of sports), playing on the giant screens above bar, #heyMariah. ??
