"We dined at this restaurant in December 2019. I am the only vegan in our group, so I was pleased to find vegan mozzarella on the menu. I carefully ordered and double-checked with the server to ensure that the crust and sauce were also vegan. To my surprise, the restaurant used Violife cheese rather than the typical Daiya, and it was delicious. The owner even stopped by to chat with me, mentioning that his wife is dairy-free and they have made an effort to find the best vegan mozzarella. He also mentioned that she has been experimenting with vegan desserts, some of which they now offer. As we finished our meal, the owner brought me a container of shredded cheese to take home, suggesting the best way to make a grilled cheese sandwich with it. The level of awareness and options for vegans at this pizzeria is excellent."

"They are extremely rude, disrespectful and her English is incomprehensible. I did not understand her English, she gave me the wrong food and refused to replace it as any good normal business owner would do. Refused!! The restaurant is very dark, stinks, it’s dirty and I very unsanitary. I will NEVER return there and I encourage others to do the same."

"Accommodating service, delicious food, gracious host and chef all in one...this place is a score for Poughkeepsie. Perfect before a performance at the Bardavon! We arrived late for our reservation, had questions about the menu, and needed to rush to the show...not exactly dream customers but we were treated amazingly by our server, Destiny! We look forward to returning."

"As always their service is prompt and polite. The food is great, they take their time preparing your food so it's correct the first time. I recommend you go there whether it's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can also have anything on the menu any time of the day. Enjoy!"

"Wife is in search of a decent sit-down Chinese restaurant. Went to Kobe and honestly wasn't bad. Wife started off with the rock shrimp which was very good. Son had the mango tango sushi which he enjoyed. I started off with the fried mountain roll which was also very good. Son had the general tso chicken which was good but sauce was a little lighter than we were use to. Wife had the chicken and broccoli which had good taste but lite on chicken, lot's of vegetables, too much peppers. I had the chicken and shrimp tempura with veggies which was actually pretty good. All in all food was good, service was excellent and will definitely be back."

"I used to enjoy easily ordering at Mexican restaurants, and this place satisfied my craving. The food was delicious, and the staff even inquired if I was vegan to ensure my meal was prepared and served correctly. There were plenty of options, and many dishes could be made vegan. I ordered the soy Al pastor tacos with rice and black beans."

"We’ve read the positive reviews about sushi village, and have wanted to try it for AYCE, but decided to order takeout for dinner this past Sunday first and we are glad that we did. Overall, we found the food quite underwhelming. My husband and I split the sushi for two, and ordered seaweed salad and shrimp/vegetable tempura for our son’s dinner, and beef negimaki to share as an appetizer. The seaweed salad is the same as what you get at any restaurant, and the tempura was good, although I only tried the vegetables. The beef negimaki was bland. The sushi was disappointing overall. The spicy tuna roll had no flavor, and the “amazing roll” is incorrectly named. It’s stuffed with more filler items than fish and was topped with mango and god awful spicy mayo. The nigiri was slightly better although the rice was bland, and some of the fish cuts were quite thick. The calamari pieces were chewy and hard and inedible. We are big sushi fans and unfortunately have been spoiled by better quality sushi so this was a miss for us. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"#1 fast food or good food quickly options ever! Taco Bell is old, dry, stale, fake, Chipotle uses too much like, Fresca is cool, a little soggy, but Bubbakoo's? Holy croqkanoe this place has hit the ground running and the flavors will dash through your mouth and straight to your heart and soul in the best way that can only be achieved by this amazing comfort food. But you can also make it quasi healthy so it really is the fast food of the people. With super friendly people working there in an open kitchen. The order is always ready very little wait. It's solid as a rock, but doesn't leave you feeling like a rock if you catch my drift. It is good real food fast, not fast food for the sake of convenience. The flavors are spot on especially if you like heat!!!"

"The world famous birria tacos with consomme at this restaurant are incredible. They are incredibly savory and always made fresh, served with multiple sauces and a lime wedge for each taco. Be sure to try the tres leches cake for a delicious sweet treat!"

"I have never encountered such unprofessional service at a restaurant in my life. Today, we called to have food delivered, and they informed us that they couldn't deliver to our location, which is just 6 miles away. I mentioned that we have successfully received deliveries from them for the past 1.5 years, but the person on the phone apologized and said they no longer deliver to our area. She then raised her voice at me and hung up. When I called back, the story changed; she claimed they didn’t have enough drivers and abruptly hung up again. I requested to speak with the owner, but she hung up on me as well. To top it off, she quoted my order as $53.00 when the menu price was only $32.00. What is going on with this place? They've definitely lost my business."

"I usually get my breakfast from K&D but they have been disappointing me lately. Their breakfast food has become inconsistent for me. I always order Bacon, Egg and Cheese, Hash Brown, and Orange Juice. I ask for the Hash Brown to be well done and not super greasy they pick and choose which day they want to honor my request. Bacon, Egg and Cheese use to come with American(yellow) cheese but now they are putting white cheddar or white american cheese. It makes the sandwich taste strange for me, and I don't wanna order from here anymore. At least not their breakfast. I'm very disappointed, and sadden that K&D just hasnt been the same. I have attached photos of the amount of oil and grease that they allowed my hashbrown to sit in. I did eat it cause I was still hungry but I am not eating the BEC cause I don't like the cheese used. Food should never be that greasy, the hashbrown was falling apart and was far from crispy."

"Delicious food at a reasonable price with great service! We got the tofu and blackberry panini and the short rib grilled cheese. Both were creative sandwiches that tasted really good, with toasty bread and tofu and beef that were just the right texture! The tofu was smooth and not crumbly. It’s blackened and definitely quite spicy. The short rib was braised or stewed, making it tender and flavorful. I appreciated the unique options of peanut noodles or salad as a complimentary side, and the peanut noodles and black bean and corn salad were both great. We’ve went here while visiting the Hudson Valley Rail Trail a couple times and I really recommend it (and the adjacent pizza place) as a lunch spot right off the trail. It’s a pretty small place with some good seats (including a small window-facing table), but it might be hard to find seating during busy times. Overall I was really impressed by the high quality of Lola’s Cafe and their menu of familiar dishes with a creative twist. I highly recommend visiting!"

"Arguably the best and most convenient location in the city of Poughkeepsie. Located on the Main Street corridor this Dunkin Donuts is quite visible, its position accessible via both the east and west arterial highways. Stocks a variety of coffees and teas in addition to many other beverages. Also the go-to spot for pastries, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and Dunkin nibbles. Opens at 6am and currently closes at 10pm. Hours may vary due to the current challenges associated with the pandemic. Services include phone and online orders for expediency of in-store pickup, service protection barriers, dining in (limited amount of customer), and outdoor seating. There is abundant parking, courteous and efficient staff and access to restrooms. Great location."

"The restaurant itself is small but cozy. The menu had a lot of delicious-sounding food, and I ended up getting the pizza rolls. As you can see in the picture, it was more like a pizza log. It had a lot of dough and less fillings, but I greatly enjoyed it. I also tried one of the nachos, they were delicious. Our server was very kind, and brought everything out in a timely manner. The same day that I went there, I also ate some pasta and wings that were catered by Kokopelli, and they were great."

"One of my top five burger places...burgers are juicy and any topping is included in the cost of burger which is a bit more pricy than other burger places but worth it...the small single patty cheeseburger is perfect for me but hubby prefers the double patty bacon cheeseburger which is substantial. Fries are something else...tendency to be flimsy not crisp and when you add the vinegar and salt they're limp!..I prefer the all you can eat peanuts."

"The food was great, but the service was poor. They have a wide selection of rolls and high-quality fish. Unfortunately, we were only given two minutes to look over their extensive menu. When we requested more time, we were granted just an additional minute. My partner felt rushed to order because the waitstaff kept asking about our choices. We ended up ordering a roll without avocado due to food allergies, but they mistakenly brought a different roll that included it. Rather than addressing the error, the staff seemed more frustrated with the misunderstanding than apologetic. Overall, the lack of consideration for our dietary needs was disappointing."

"Our experience was pleasant. Staff was attentive and super friendly. Management was constantly checking tables to ensure everyone was happy. Drinks were huge and only $6.25 for a very large sangria is relatively cheap. One steak was overcooked, but they remedied it right away and let us keep the old steak too. Good for steak tacos. Prices are reasonable compared to other higher end steak places. Atmosphere is a little loud, but that’s just how this place is, so like it or leave it."
