"Excellent food very fresh! I have been very disappointed with all our other local dinners lately and nearly forgot about acropolis (moved away for a few years) they are by far the best diner in town great food great people I go nearly every morning. I would have given 5 stars for atmosphere but one of their longest working servers tends to walk around causing problems with the other servers and complaining about the owners right in front of customers and it makes me uncomfortable. Everyone else is happy and great at their jobs and love the owners. "This was my second time celebrating my birthday there but the experience wasn't the same. I ordered wine and was told it was $7. My glass came less than a 3rd full. I had photos from last year showing it was 2 3rds or more full. When I asked if the next refill could have more wine, she said they can give me a bigger glass but it was the same with the normal amount I got last year. O was charged $21 for two glasses which was 8.50 and 10.50 respectively. The wine took so long to get that I asked for water. It wasn't all that busy and it wasn't a mixed drink. The bill was so wrong I almost had a heart attack. Came out about 40 bucks higher and no one noticed. While the food was fast and good, I will probably go somewhere else next year."

"Our family had such a great experience at this Olive Garden. Of course the food was delicious, unlimited salad and breadsticks for days. As a family we go out each weekend in the Hudson Valley. I have never had a better server then I did for my daughter's birthday. Our server Ruby was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the different dinners and so sweet and easy to feel comfortable with. I am always impressed with the Olive Garden experience .But having a server that really knows the customers and the menu and is just a great server adds to the experience! Well done Ruby! Thank you for making my daughter's birthday amazing!"

"About 8:00 Friday night I called in for a take out order 3 eggs, scrambled side of bacon, home, fries, and toast. I also asked for a chicken salad sandwich. I should have known to check the bag. Even know I repeated the order to Melissa on the phone and I still had to ask did she put grape jelly in my bag and the answer was oh I’m sorry I forgot I’ll get it right away. Well when I got home I had a chicken salad sandwich. I got three eggs scrambled instead of bacon I got burnt ham and no toast I called and I asked for Melissa, she’s the one I actually answered the phone again and I told her what happened and she says if I want come back for the bacon and toast now I live 20 minutes away why would I come back for bacon and toast? Meanwhile the eggs and home fries were going to be ice cold and she rudely hung up on me because she doesn’t care so please when you do take out at the ditches diner always check because your order will be screwed up shame on me. This was the second time I thought maybe a year had passed and I didn’t need to check the order but shame on me. To top it off, the diner was empty maybe 10 people in there"

"They make great pizza and have decent Mexican food. They have now changed their name and shifted their focus away from pizza. The Mexican food is still pretty good except for the tamles, those are really dry. I haven't tried any of the breakfast items since they stop serving them at 10 am, a little early for me I think that 11 or noon would be better. One thing that I highly recommend is the Avacado Chicken Hero."

"Got the house special pizza minus a couple toppings. Place smelled great and price was reasonable, but our pizza had a burnt crust and almost no sauce. The toppings were good quality and well distributed, but we couldn’t even finish the pie because it was charred and tough. Hopefully it was a one-off, but not sure we’d give Bronx Pie another try. Parking: Not many spots but the ones right in front are convenient. Service: Take out"

"We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside for lunch, where what will probably be the last really nice day with weather this fall, so we were very happy that they still had space outdoors. We had only burgers, but they were both very good and we had a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert, which we enjoyed very much. Our waiter Jay was excellent and very attentive and friendly and he also answered a few questions we had when we looked back the next time."

"Horrible stale food overcooked shrimp horribly slow service servers are smart mouth avoid going here?.. February 2nd my husband and I he a 73 year old veteran and myself self employed. My husband wanted to go to red lobster had a craving for fish he is a country boy at heart. Now our server was male he was very helpful and cheerful he also stated he was a new employee a young man I assume to be in between my sons ages 27 and 21, my husband and I knew what we wanted just not how to order it, the server helped a lot with making our decision, if he was my son I?d be proud. Now the restaurant at that time was staffed with other ppl in his age group or younger, The fish my husband ordered was more bread than fish, my salmon tasted previously frozen looked cheap, my broccoli and rice undercooked hard no flavor. My shrimp looked as if it had been deep fried several times the pieces so small I wondered if they just gave me table scraps, wait when being seated the table next two my husband and I was seated two extreme loud and obviously intoxicated visibly aged woman, the first 15 mins we had to endure high pitched noises no one asked them to at least quiet down, finally they left visibly intoxicated. Not wanting to complain I ordered desert to stay here?s when our waiter snubbed me I ordered my desert my waiter walks off towards an area on the other side of the bar I assume the kitchen another table?s seated in his section he came out of the kitchen minus my cake took this tables order laughed joked went got the tables drinks continued to chat some more. Now over in the kitchen area bar area this is when I become aware that the staffers are all immature kids not team players 3 just standing there no one took the initiative to help . I can hear giggling and laughing. Finally my desert arrives , lost all taste for it ! telling my husband I?m ready to go , he goes to bathroom leaves me the wallet try for five mins to get staffs attention gentle everyone is ignoring me so finally get up go to bar simply state I?d like to pay my bill and can no longer wait little girl at the bar said something condescending in a mocking tone. To be honest knowing ppl she got it from her mother, cause when the little girl scrunched up her face thinking it was cute she aged herself, I told her she should work on her personality cause her looks won?t help. At this time my server was coming from the back I handed him the money and left oh the restaurant had a total of four table occupied and one curbside, it was not busy enough to warrant any wait! Now I?m happy I?m not who I used to be aging has mellowed me out. It?s not the staffs fault it?s managements and the franchise fault! "My bestie nick bertoline came up from Florida and we came to poughkeepsie to grab some chicken. Nick was afraid to venture into city of poughkeepsie so I had to bribe him with a foot rub later in the evening. (That's another story) . Anywho the chicken was amazing. I had the 3 piece. Nick had the sandwich. Only issue I had was not enough napkins. Nick had to take off his shirt and we wiped our hands on his shirt. Oh well."

"Thanks again for a great dining experience as always and I was happy to share a dinner here with my family. I am a frequent patron of Red Robin with my girlfriend but it was my brother's birthday and he was planning on going to Texas Roadhouse. Upon entering Texas Roadhouse, I was immediately insulted and embarrassed by their staff as well as management for my inability to put a covering over my face. After being offered the ability to wait outside in the icy February winter with my 70 year old father as well as with the rest of my family, I told them we will be taking our money elsewhere. Shame on them. I quickly suggested Red Robin and everyone perked up and almost immediately forgot about the insulting ordeal we had just experienced. I assured them that I have never had a problem at Red Robin and the reliable staff was more than happy to seat our party of 7 without any issues at all. I think outside of having the best burger and sandwich combos in town, Red Robin also has the best drink options by far. My brother agrees with me that you guys make the best house margarita as well! Keep it up because it is the gold standard. Our server, Manal I believe it was, deserved every bit of the 50% gratuity. She was awesome and she kept everyone full and happy. As a loyal Red Robin customer, I'm glad you guys were able to impress my family and save the day after Texas Roadhouse tried to ruin it. I'm happy to patronize a business that values its customers and their freedom over virtue signaling. Keep up the great work everyone."

Last week we went to Wendys about a mile south and ordered a Spicy Chicken combo for him and a grilled chicken sandwich for me and it was $17.50!...so people, grab the BK coupons from Sunday and enjoy a beautiful burger at a reasonable price."

"We had dinner at J. Domenick’s last evening with family from CT. Previously we have always had a delicious meal and great service here. We were very dissalojnted with our food last evening. My crabmeat stuffed filet of sole tasted very fishy along with the so called crab meat stuffing hardly containing any crabmeat, mainly bread crumbs. I barely got through a quarter of the meal and wouldn’t eat anymore and spoke to the waitress about this. Another family member had the stuffed crab meat shrimp dish and again the shrimp was like rubber with no crab meat in the stuffing. A third family member had veal parmigiana dinner and said the tomato sauce was very watery, not good for the money that we were paying Unfortunately the quality of the food was not up to our expectations at all, which disappointed us as long time customers of J. Domenick’s. We were also surprised that a Manager didn’t even come out to apologize for the issue of our food."

"we came for a fast lunch Sunday, 6/19/22 and consulted the menu board in front of the door. this menu was extensive that included brunch. when entering and sitting, we were provided menus, but no brunch menu was available (maybe brunch wasn't on Sunday?...bit did not go outside to check again...not crazy, lol.) the waitress said, we no longer ordered the regular menu, no problem; the regular menu was sufficient in the choice. our appetizer was calamari. the quid was tender and seemed fresh, but the crushed gooey and tasteless, and the oil tasted quite old. odd, since in the rule the problem with this article is badly squirting. they just ruined a good ingredient. a fried fish sandwich had a very generous part of the baked fish, whose edges were very chewing, almost smiling, lol. the inside of the fish part was good, but the burnt teig pulled off the taste. our hamburger was in order, but not good as five guys (for example, the bungalow was ice-cold), but unfortunately we went here instead of five guys hoping for a slightly increased culinary experience. the French pommes were very strange. about 20% were joined together. not sure why that was, but I have experienced such dinge while cooking old frozen pommes at home. their drinks were good and generous, grateful. this was our second time there, with the first visit before-COVID and actually quite good. I hope it was just a free day because it is a comfortable room with nice people."

"I have been to this place a couple of times before and it serves the same taste and same quality. When we went there yesterday, they were about to close but they allowed us to sit there and eat. The staff is very nice and polite. We ordered black bean burrito and tofu bean curd enchiladas and both were good. Since this place is near a college the price for both the dish was just 15$ which was reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place for take outs."
