"Excellent food and the service is incredible. The restaurant is quite big, which is great since they can get busy fast. They do check for allergies and restrictions at the beginning. If you're not sure how much you can eat, you'll still have a chance to order more later so don't feel rushed to put everything on the paper at first!Everything is very good, but for dessert I definitely recommend the chocolate xiao long bao. It's rich but very tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and for such a busy restaurant it's easy to hear, and doesn't feel too crowded. Consider making a reservation if you're wanting to go wait times can get long.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options, and clearly marked vegetarian dumplings. We went with a vegan friend and she was able to easily identify safe dishes"

"My favorite Ramen in this area!! The noodles are great and I feel like most ramen people have chewy noodles but these are the perfect constituency and texture. The broth in the Chicken Paitan is my favoriteee and I love the spice powder they use. The only think I would mention thats not my favorite is the ramen egg isnt super marinated like other ramens but the flavor in the broth makes up for it!"

"Somewhat disappointing experience. I stopped in on a Sunday to pick up some espresso roast beans for home use. I saw the nearby unit was preparing to ship many packaged bags of coffee, but when I went into the coffee shop itself, I met a barista who didn’t know what type of roast the espresso beans were — the same ones he was using to make the drinks. I was open to suggestions but he kept going to the kitchen in the back to ask someone else for the answers and recommendations. In the end I found out there were -no- bags of espresso beans left for sale at the coffee shop. For fun I tried the orange ginger cold brew, which was sweet. It was tasty, like a chocolate orange, but didn’t seem to have any ginger flavor.I might try again to get beans since the roaster is so well-rated, but no luck the first time."

"Nice dive bar, bartenders were awesome, drinks are and reasonably priced. I had the garlic fries which were awesome, and the signature hamburger which was good but honestly not the best hamburger I've ever had. It's not in a great area, but probably worth the trip just to see if this is, indeed, the best hamburger in San Diego."

"I did not enjoy the Christmas brunch 2023. The typically amazing experience became less than amazing when the restaurant hostess seated us in a plain, less festive and half empty temporary overflow room with not enough staff; for the same price as the seating in the main beautiful and fully staffed restaurant."

"Everything was off flavor wise. The broccoli beef had too much fish taste, that’s all I could taste. I know it has oyster sauce but there was too much. The noodles in the chow Mein were overcooked and way too soft. The fried rice had no flavor and seemed stale. Orange chicken was the most edible and I still didn’t think the flavor was right. I barely ate any of it as it wasn’t good at all. This is the next morning what I had left very disappointed."

"Me and my spouse were looking forward to coming here after a day of shopping. It was a typical busy Saturday with a whole vendors market right outside the store. We ordered the Chicken Harissa Bowl and the Sweet Spicy Wrap Pita. There were a few people in front of us but it otherwise started off smoothly. However when we got to the last lady who was handling the topping sections things quickly went south. Since both our orders were part of the preexisting line up, we assumed she would know what toppings went into each and even asked us about others. Before we could even say anything though she already had put things on that didn’t match the toppings in our orders. Both of us were at a loss for words as she hardly looked up and just kept going. If it wasn’t for the 5 or so orders piling up next to her, we would have said something then and there but decided to just take our orders and drinks and go.My spouse tried to take the toppings they didn’t want out of the wrap but in the end it was just a mess. My contained only a few of the toppings listed but tasted good otherwise.I may come back here again in the future but will likely just make my own bowl or wrap as the people who did that seemed to have better luck."

"Is it a hole in the wall....no it's buried Mexican treasure. The seafood soup and octopus tacos are the best. I am legitimately mad I have to wait until my next trip to San Diego to eat that again. If I lived closer, I would grow gills from eating that soup so much. It's a little hard to find but worth the hunt."

"An upscale bar serving up creative tacos. To sum up this Bib-Gourmand awarded taqueria in one word, Tryhard. Its extreme focus on being different and innovative (which I understand, the competition in downtown is fierce, and the award is too important to lose) has derailed its entire direction. Its imitation of fine dining made it a shell of restaurant and fancy tacos is just a bad concept. The bartender was quick and friendly and did a great job introducing the menu, and the decoration and atmosphere was delightful.I have never ever seen in the entirety of my life a place that calls guacamole avocado mousse , let alone finding a woody stem of avocado in said mousse. The Al Pastor Taco has a whole piece of pork belly, leading to the fat not being rendered properly and marinade not going through the meat. The Carnitas Taco was bland and I really do not appreciate being served raw astringent tomatillo slices. I was so disappointed that I did not even complain about the stem.To conclude, you would have better chances of finding good tacos in food trucks and roadside taco stands, than to waste your money going to this fancy place."

"We really couldn't complain. Gil was amazing at the bar! He good care of us. Rachel was also awesome and I can't leave off Katelyn, she was awesome as well!! We were there for the presentation off the right of the bar. Again Rachel made sure my sister's food allergy was acknowledged and she deserves recognition. Thanks Rachel!! This was my first time at Ruth's Chris and I enjoyed it. Sorry I forgot pics :"

"Waiter super friendly but inattentive and got two orders wrong. One guest didn’t get entree at all only a side. Waiter seldom checked. Never asked how was the food. Ordered mainly seafood. Mussels were excellent, roll good and octopus ok."

"If you choose to dine here, be aware that if you reserve outdoor seating which was one of the options to choose from, the front desk hostess says it’s not guaranteed but only a request. If this was the case, why have that option to select from? I made this reservation 2 weeks ago so that we can have our out-of-town guests enjoy the outdoor San Diego scenery while having dinner and watching the fireworks. Not only was she unapologetic about it, she didn’t even offer us to wait for outdoor seating. We were put in the corner table furthest away from any sort of ventilation. Really? This was the best that you got? Our party of 6 got up and wanted to leave right away and when we were walking out, we noticed a table outside being cleaned. I quickly told the front hostess to call me when the next outdoor seating was available and good thing I did that or you would have lost our patronage to your restaurant. Who knows if any walk up party would have easily scored that table. Very disappointed in your reservation system!"

"We came on 12/26 around noon and the store was 25% full. Within 20 min they became slammed. Couldn't raise a waiter, the hot food was cold, the chips were tiny pieces and the salad didn't have dressing. Took 20 more minutes to get dressing. The chips were blamed on supplier issues. "We arrived at 7 pm for dinner without reservations on a Friday. We were quickly seated, followed by our server with menus. I oreded the Chinese chicken salad, and my wife ordered the club sandwich. Our server returned with our dinner and informed us that she was going on break and that another gentleman that was present would be our server. He immediately asked to refill my soda. He came straight back with a filled soda. My salad looked very good and the dressing was on the lighter side. The salad tasted very good, and the crunchy bites gave the salad that snap. The only drawback was the chicken and the absance of the madarian oranges. I had to hunt for the bites of cubed chicken and only found six small pieces. There must have been a chicken and madarin orange shortage in San Diego. My wife's club sandwich was good, but the fries were hard as a rock. During the dinner, the server came by and asked how the dinner was. We informed him of our concerns. He quickly apologized and asked to refill my wife's drink. Ten minutes later, he returned without my wife's drink and said he would be right back. We told him to forget about the drink as we had finished with our dinner. This was my first visit to a Cheesecake Factory, and I'll probably not come back. On the plus side, we ordered the teramasu cheesecake to go, and it was fantastic."

"Salad did not have dressing on the side so the salad was soggy by the time it arrived. Pizza had way to much pesto and no shredded mozzarella like ordered. Overall food was bad. I have eaten at this location in person and delivery in the past with no issues. However, with how much delivery costs will not be doing delivery again due to this experience. Waste of ."

"I booked this restaurant for a business dinner for my boss. I have feedback that everything was top class. Good vibe but able to chat, service and ambiance was great. The food was second to none and was thoroughly enjoyed by all parties with different tastes. Huge portions but to a very high quality. Thank you Bandar for making this a great night for my group. Hoping I get a chance to visit myself sometime."

"First time here in San Diego and was looking for a good breakfast place. Where do I even start. Customer service is through the roof and the people are so nice, food came out to me quick and I didn’t even have to wait long. The food itself had to by far be the best breakfast I’ve had from any restaurant. Snickers pancake was delicious, bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection with a good reasonable portion, eggs were cooking to perfection, and the crispy potatoes were actually crispy, and the frosted mint latte was super refreshing. I would definitely recommend this place."
