"Serious Folks, when it comes to GLOBAL CLASS restaurants, there is a new Admiral in Starkville! Before you even get your first sip from the extensive collection of Bourbons, whiskeys, or second to no skillfully skillfully skillfully skillfully skillfully skillful cocktails, the atmosphere welcomes you as if you return to the port after day fishing off the coast of New England. Starkville and very open MS rarely gets the privilege of enjoying a restaurant of this caliber. Let your mind enjoy my experience; although trying to enjoy an Elmer T Lee 100yr Whisky, I started the evening with a spicy Grapefruit Margarita. Do not let the name fool you, Parker put these together with the zest and tropical taste of the expert bar tender it is. Yes right at the bar, big conversation, as my next course is prepared about eight meters away. The lively immersion in the experience of the great conversation, as my meal is prepared in my peripheral vision, was very like at the cooking table at the Commander's Palace NOLA or Matt?s in the Seattle market. Now for a hearty soup to prepare my pallet for the best classic shrimps and geese I've ever experienced while Brady puts the most delicious vegetable potatoes together, I couldn't resist, I asked for a small page and not forget when on the menu during your visit. Finally, let us talk about the next big one, and I mean my GREAT-Koch/Dessert-Koch, which brings shame to all the others from the South East USA. You must enjoy the inexplicably ingenious desserts that are joined together by the self-given rain. Yes, as rain nourishes the earth and brings joyful aromas and flowers to enjoy- Rain the Koch will delight your range with rich chocolate conditions in strong contrast to its underlying smashing of aromas. Finally, you must experience the carrot cake, like nothing you have ever experienced. While it may seem far picked up, I will make the trip from Dallas Texas to Starkville a few times a year to enjoy their restaurant and you should also."

"Might be the best hidden gem in Starkville! I 'd give the atmosphere experience 5 of these rating stars but it 's genuinely not meant to be a 5 star restaurant. It 's a wonderful beer garden atmosphere almost like a magical set for a film or play. Upon entry from parking, it 's not marked; part of the ambiance is that you 've stumbled upon something hidden. And good. The initial area is truly 'beer garden ' in that it 's rows of picnic tables outdoors under lights. Charming Gazebo is actually the bar. Up a few steps is more deck seating. Then there 's the giant outdoor sectional with pillows! The last area is white wrought iron chairs tables (adirondack seating at the rear), creating an elevated outdoor patio feel among 100 's of clear lights among the branches overhead. Yep been open a year not so many know of this treasure! Let 's talk food bev: 2 happy hours each night early, and also after 9 pm. The tent card offers girlie cocktails interesting craft drinks sweet tasty, and only about $5 each. Reg well drinks too. More than 6 beers offered (reference unhappy gal below) and a rather nice selection some not offered in my home state; local seasonals appreciated. 3 good wine labels, but all types by the glass. This is all I could ever expect in a beer garden better than pub! Food was WONDERFUL. Here, you can count on much much better than most domestic pub offerings. It 's more Euro to get that level of pub food. {no, to the disappointed person below tables aren 't 'set ' in beer garden dining! Is there a Hilarious button here? We were blown away by the whole fried okra taste with the Asian chili sauce. My guest is a Starkville resident and this spot, along with the French Onion Soup has become her fave! I had a wonderful salad with homemade ginger dressing that I 'd come back for weekly! And when the famous Fish Chips I 'd come for had sold out (I 'll be back; heard they 're great) I opted for a Cajun gumbo and was not at all disappointed. The flavors were true Nola the 1 4 c of rice was planted in the center. Perfect. I 'm a huge fan of this place. There 's not much exciting in Stakevegas dining. Veranda 's tasty. This has it all in the evening hours!!!"
