"So I pickled up at drive thru, when I arrived home I was so disappointed!!!! I purchased the #13- beef fajitas-I guess it was the number. I added guacamole, which I paid extra for and all it was-smashed avocado about a tablespoon on the lettuce. The rice was white with a pea in it. The meat had no flavor except for the oil, beef and tomato base it was cooked in-well that’s what it tasted like. A few onions and one piece of green pepper maybe too picky but I’ve had way better!!! I ate the meat and avocado because I paid $20. and some change never again!!"

"We have been frequenting this restaurant since we relocated to Temple a few years ago. The food is consistently delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. Gigi, T, and the other staff members are always friendly and accommodating. We don't see ourselves going to any other Thai restaurant anytime soon, as long as we are living here. This is our favorite spot to bring family when they visit. We absolutely adore this place."

"Best chicken sandwich I ever had...we had 5 spicy chicken sandwich and 2 milkshake and one dite coke. It was yummy and delicious. Was very full after having one sandwich. Chicken was very much juicy and soft bun was cherry on top. Well the sauce is incredibly tasty "

"we had a nice time tonight. I ordered a bottle of wine recommended by the waiter, ken. it is nice to sit outside, and that was so delicious! our steak was perfectly grilled and tasteful. we also had the bark tortellini, which was buttery and tender and unforgettable. the washington state cabernet, for the table, it was smooth and the right decision on my part when I say it myself. excellent service, attentive, but never overlaid. all in all, a beautiful dinner in a great environment!"

"This was our 2nd visit there. The 1st time we both got burgers, which were amazing! After seeing a lady at another table with her chicken fried steak, we HAD to return to try it for ourselves. We were definitely not disappointed. They were the best chicken fried steaks we ever had anywhere! Their fries are delicious and obviously house-made. I love that they keep the skins on their fries.. so tasty! I got too full to try dessert, but I understand they make their own cobblers as well, so I'm going to have to make a trip there again for that. Hard decision I'm sure, to have to choose between peach, cherry, or apple ... or coconut cream, lemon meringue, or chocolate meringue pie, chocolate cake, or Blue Bell ice cream. I can't wait to go!"

"Idk what happened. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean, bright and well stocked. We got our sub, it had an item we took off the order and the items we wanted extra were barely there. We ate it but weren 't satisfied when we left. We just hoped the sub we were taking home for our son was better."

"Old Jody is a solid burger and steak independently owned restaurant. Service was fine if a bit hurried. The menu has a nice mix of burgers, steaks, even seafood. I was not in a burger mood so I had popcorn shrimp which was fine if not spectacular. Isuspect that burgers and steaks might be more their focus. I reserve fives for truly spectacular and enjoyable places. If Ilived locally I would probably eat here periodically just for variety. If you were looking for something different than thestandard corporate owned restaurants give Old Jody's a try."

"Came in at 10:20am, they opened at 10am.They only had 3 items ready to serve. So I asked, are you running late? Why isn’t all the food out. We’re making it now. It’ll be about an hour before it’s all full. It says you open at 10 AM. You should have the food ready now so now you’ve wasted my time. Thanks for not being able to serve your customers. I was going to order 50 dollars of food but I guess I will start going elsewhere."

"Super friendly folks and always smiling. I drove well out of my way from Waco to get several pounds of the thick cut peppered bacon. Let me just say, it is totally worth the drive. I didn't try the cafe this time but I'll be coming back with the wife and we will have lunch and grab more of the backing! Do yourself a favor and make the drive."

"my man loved this restaurant since we discovered it almost 2 years ago. it reminds him of this place in his home town little rock called shotgun dans pizza. this pizza tastes so authentic. it has rich aromas and fresh ingredients. today we ordered a large pizza with sausage, Canadian speck, gyro meat, green paprika and swirl. it is absolutely delicious! it can costly depending on size, but considering how delicious this pizza is, the price is not really important. if they haven't tried this place, they don't know what they miss! we have always wondered if this place had a connection to nikki roma in the shopping center. so or so, they get our vote!"

"Great atmosphere service. Steaks were good, but not outstanding. Steamed broccoli could have been cut in smaller florets. $2.99 12oz budlight. I asked for onions to be sauteed well done they were rare. Friend had crusted chicken Parm it looked good he said it was great. We will eat here again in future."

"this restaurant is wonderful. my man surprised me here yesterday evening for a birthday dinner and reserved the biggest table (I think) in the restaurant, but unfortunately a baptized man got sick and couldn't do it. filz super bad for the server whose name I unfortunately forgot. She was great. absolutely on her game, informatiw, sweet and funny. the restaurant is in a sweet little stripe I never had before. in any case, I would not have expected this. the interieur is beautiful and cozy, but modern. eating is absolutely delicious. we have a laundry board, brot, pizza, steak and salmon and it was all on the point. I grew up in Europe and in italia and I am in the usually not impressed by Italian inspired cuisine in the usa, but this place is absolutely worth it. I will come back in the near future."

"Pay your staff more and the service here wouldn't suck so bad! I give this place four stars instead of one solely because the staff behind the counter do everything they can with what little they are given! In fact upper management here is so poor that too often they run out of prepared food and force waits of 30 plus minutes for an order! Step it up Taco Bell and pay your people appropriately! I wish I could say this opinion is isolated to just this Taco Bell but unfortunately I would give the same review to every Taco Bell in the Temple/Belton area!"

"Horrible food. My daughters cheese pizza (frozen pizza) was cold. My chicken enchilada was cold as well. I was told the sauce on the enchilada was Chile con queso. The sauce was actually chili sauce. It was like I was eating a cold chicken frito pie. They put nacho cheese on my steak. I was not aware the steak came with cheese and it was over cooked. It was like eating a well done burger patty with cheese. My husband was not asked what kind of tortillas he wanted. He randomly received cold flower tortillas. The Guerrero tortillas from HEB taste better. The rice was very dry. Overall, will not be coming back."

"The food was delicious and the bartenders were friendly, but the value for money was disappointing. The wings were extremely small, probably the smallest I've ever seen. I don't mind paying for good wings, but these were just too small. The hostess was terrible, she disappeared when I arrived and didn't acknowledge me when I left. They work in the hospitality industry, they should be more hospitable. Also, charging $5.25 for a 22-ounce beer seems excessive to me. I will probably return because I guess I enjoy being disappointed."
