"Our server, Allyson, was a delight, and our meal quite splendid. We both loved the Autumn Salad and the halibut (perfectly cooked). The key lime dessert wasn't bad, but didn't actually taste like key lime and involved a little too many colors and flavors on the plate. Festive, but a little too neon... All in all, a really perfect place to celebrate our 47th anniversary!"

"The short ribs and Coquille St. Jacques were delicious. Our server was friendly and personable. Table was uncomfortable and crowded by the one next to us, but all the two-tops in the restaurant are like that. The Chardonnay by the glass is awful...tastes like hairspray. The creme brulee was good, but very sweet. Overall, much better experience than our visit last spring when we were visiting. Curious why there is no chicken dish on the menu...seems odd for a French restaurant. Also, it'd be nice if the cassoulet was available each evening, not just Thursdays. I've been to other French restaurants where it's available each night."

"Old Ebbit Grill is one of my go-to spots whenever I visit Washington. The service and ambiance is always amazing and the food never disappoints. I had the pork chop for dinner this time around as recommended by our bar tender. The chop was thick and juicy and tasted great. The greens that accompanied were cooked and salted to perfection to complement the mashed potato cake that was included. As always, I left very full and satisfied and with a desire to return on my next visit."

"Flower child offers some vegan dishes in the daily options. eating is healthy and the portions are not very large, but it is convenient for a quick lunch. eating is not very expensive and the setting is nice. the taste of the dishes was not excellent so that not tested for purpose when they are looking for a good vegan meal."

The service was knowledgable and expert. From wines, amuse bouche, to main course to the elegant deserts plus a birthday Napoleon with candle. Hit all the notes I wanted for a classy celebration. "The food was delicious, moderate/average portions for the . Both glasses of wine I had were smaller pours (so keep that in mind) just in general, price was expected. Our server was attentive and kind, checked in on us and allowed for time to enjoy ourselves. Super cool space, dim lighting, and minimal televisions which I REALLY appreciate."

"Booked a birthday brunch here and had a simply great experience! Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent- fresh, well thought out flavours and just tasty! We had the brunch burger (which like its lunch/dinner-time sibling was excellent) and the steak and eggs special of the day- all great! The brunch cocktails were also really fun! Brunch was SO good, we had to take some home and so we ordered the apple pie to-go and that on its own is another food review! I highly recommend this lovely spot"

"Overall, it was a nice experience, but I wouldn't return. I think there are better places in Georgetown for a better value. At the price of brunch, the food was not impressive. The only hot station was the Omelette Station. If you wanted waffles or any kind of breakfast bread items, you had to order them. Even then the waffle was missing. The brunch was mostly decorated in a lobby area... It felt like eating in a hotel... Obviously I know I'm in one, but it just felt like I'm coming down to breakfast. I was dressed a little, but I should have come into something more casual. There was a mix of dress code, but most of the guests were dressed casually - as they just come down to breakfast. Lol To be honest, I think it's just that expensive bc it's the four seasons... no other reason. Service was great and everyone was very friendly, I feel just a little disappointed that I spent about $400 for 2... our waitress did our keep mimosa glasses full, so it has on them."

"Milano is still my top choice for lunch outside of New York and Europe. The food and service in DC are unbeatable. The staff are always incredibly friendly and accommodating, without being too familiar. The quality of the ingredients, preparation, and presentation always impresses me. Thanks to the team at Milano for providing a wonderful spot for a leisurely lunch. Excellent!"

"This was a really cute place to have a both creative and comfy buffet brunch on the weekend. They had a wide range of breakfast and lunch options. Everything was cooked well, the areas were kept clean, and didn't seem to sit long. Their dessert buffet was delicious and cute. Guests were respectful and wore masks at the buffet. As busy as it was, it was a nice dining experience. The espresso machine was broken and $4 for plain coffee seems like too much however everything else was great. They serve brunch until technically 2pm however it's not a hard time as they still serve buffet a little after for the late comers. The $30 brunch buffet cost might be a little high if you are running low on time so I would suggest arriving early and making the most of the experience. Also, it's very popular so I recommend making a reservation as well."

"Everything was good until I received my food. I ordered the lamb chops I could only eat 2 out of the 4 I was give because the lamb chops had so much fat on them. I made my concern known to the waiter and she informed me the chef would make me 2 more. We received the bill and our to go bag to get home with no lamb chops for $61 I was livid. I won’t be back because of this issue."

"I have mixed feelings about this establishment. When we arrived (5m early) for our brunch reservation. The host stand was complete chaos and totally overwhelmed. After waiting for 40m, we were brought back to a table to find out that there were already people seated there. After a quick return to the host stand we were reseated. The food was excellent; hot and fresh and replenished quickly if an item was taken. Our waiter was, though very busy, attentive to our needs and quickly refilled drinks. When the bill came, I was annoyed to see a 5% Restaurant Recovery charge due to the pandemic. The place was PACKED, not a mask in sight (patrons or staff) and only one lonely squirt bottle of hand sanitizer. To act as though the company is struggling due to the two year old pandemic but have no social distancing, mask requirements or other pandemic related safeguards is a joke and the 5% fee is a money grab. Disappointed"

"I was here for a conference and went out to dinner with an old friend. It was quiet and the service was excellent, helpful but not intrusive. The French bread tasted like real bread, often a sign of good things ahead. My friend had one of the fish dishes and I had the veal cheeks. They were so tender that at first I thought I was cutting into a hunk of fat but they were just melt in your mouth tender. The meal was delicious and my friend enjoyed his too. We split the chocolate dessert which ended up being delicious and just the right amount after our meal. It takes 20 minutes to make which worked well for us since we wanted to talk but you might want to order it when your meal arrives rather than after if you have someplace to go."

"Cozy and vibrant wine bar. Definitely great for a second date or spot to have a drink and kill some time.The host and staff were super nice and flexible even though we told them we were just killing our time before our parking ended and it was cold outside.We had a long list of wines to go through and got cozied up and drank. Some great selections of domestic beers. Will be back again, unfortunately did not try the food but it sounded very nice."

"From the menu it looked like there were no vegan options that they were listed only as a vegetarian. But my server was able to ask about any of the options (and find out which gluten-free were), which was very helpful. She didn't let me feel like an inconvenience and was very enthusiastic about the help. All employees were very friendly, and they are well equipped to help you find a good option on the menu. I had the impossible meat pot that was one of the best meals I've ever had. Our server told a lot and it was not disappointing that it came with vegan potatoes (what they raving about) and green beans. Very enjoyed it and the atmosphere, friendly service and soothing knowledge of the servers made it a really pleasant experience. I just wish they would mark the menu!!"

"This restaurant offers a diverse selection of steak and seafood dishes. We tried a variety of dishes and everyone agreed that they were delicious. The filet was cooked perfectly. The service was top-notch, from the quick appetizers to the timely delivery of our meals and refills. The bar had a good selection of drinks, but they were a bit on the expensive side. Overall, it was a great spot for a business meal. I love the atmosphere of this place, it has an old Washington feel and is popular among power brokers. Nick, the owner, runs a tight ship and the kitchen always delivers excellent food. While prices have gone up a bit, I will definitely be coming back to the Monocle in the future."

"My wife and I had a 7:00pm reservation. We were seated at the first table as you enter and leave the restaurant. We asked for a different table because of all the traffic by that table. They were kind enough to give us another table but not before the hostess sarcastically asked the group behind us if they had any issues with where they would be seated. The other hostess even made the comment that nobody likes that table because of all the foot traffic. This was the start of the night and it did not get any better. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. We rarely saw our server. My steak was not cooked the right way. Our fries were cold. The presentation of all the food looked like they just threw it on the plate. The only thing that salvaged the evening was the manager. He went above and beyond to try and correct or salvage the situation. I thanked him for his professionalism!"

"eating is always good at ruth’s chris, and it was also in this night. we have planned an early meal at 17.30 clock because we had tickets for an 8:00 clock show a few blocks away. the restaurant was empty when we arrived, but the service was extremely slow. drinking orders did not come out and were forgotten and had to be ordered again. and because the service was so slow not dessert because we had no time and had to rush through dinner to make hardly the start of the show. that was the first time that we brought our son and his friend into a restaurant of this caliber, and it was really disappointing."
