"We wanted to interrupt our city tour through Weilburg with a lunch to strengthen us for visiting the beautiful castle. Rather randomly we came to the “Joseph’s” at the marketplace in the heart of the beautiful old town. Ambience As we entered, we found a very stylish, noble ambience. There are three rooms that are all differently furnished with a lot of taste and attention to detail. A space flows out lounge-, the other cozy old-town atmosphere, here bright red walls, red-covered leather chairs and – sessel, there again visible masonry, modern and antiques alternating. All tables lovingly covered, fabric table cloths and fabric napkins. Indirect lighting creates a homely atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Operation From welcome to adoption friendly, flotted and accommodating. The waiting times for food and drinks were pleasantly short. Food The “Joseph’s” offers classic Mediterranean cuisine on a small but fine map in a slightly elevated price range. My wife chose “Knoblauchspaghetti”, on special request “Arrabiata” at €11.50; the noodles were nice al dente, the tomato sauce with fresh sliced tomatoes and herbs very tasty prepared, sharpening brought a few green peperoni. For “Arrabiata” it could have been a few more. I decided to recommend the “Frish calf liver” with potatoes and salad at €16.80. The salad was crunchy fresh, consisted mainly of rucola and radicchio with a crown of cress, with a tasty sour cream dressing tasted with restraint, so that the characteristic flavor of the salad varieties could unfold harmoniously. The little potatoes have also been good for food. The calf liver was cut very thin, was perfectly fried to the point, nicely tender and tasty. Only the rosemary taste too strongly dominated for my feeling was a bit disturbed. As a greeting from the kitchen there were freshly baked bread and butter, with spicy marinated black and green olives. Drinks: 1 Fl. 0.75l San Pellegrino at 5,00 €, 2 Espresso Doppio at 3,20 € Rating: we were very satisfied and 5 stars were just missed. Conclusion: in very beautiful, extravagant ambience in the heart of the old town enjoy good Mediterranean cuisine. I can recommend the “Josephs”."

"we were on the lahntalradweg direction limburg with the bike. short behind Weilburg (after the snowfall) a cycle path left off, through a small and narrow tunnel, direction becausemünster, on the Weiltalradweg. from this tunnel, after approx. 300 meters, one has reached jimmys restaurant. It was a sunny day, midday in the week. After the bikes (in the secluded) were parked, we found a shady plet on the appealing terrace. the service was very friendly and very fast with the menu there. the beverage order was immediately abandoned. The drinks were very fast on the table. An insalata nizza, mixed salat with thun fish, wobble and ei and the pizza quattro stagioni with tomato, mushrooms, cheese, ham, olive and artichokes. 15 minutes were taken to the ordered feeds. the service pizza capriciosa. it was pointed out that the pizza quattro stagioni has been ordered. after short instinct it was found that the linings were right. The service still meant that they would not make the classic four-part (but it means four seasons) – well.Over earlier experiences, the pizza was appealing and tasty. the mushrooms were fresh and the cheese was not used to cover the linings. also the salate tasted. we were pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it was because some guests were there, but not as big a hectic as at a weekend. The salat nizza cost 8.50 euro (on the homepage stands 8,20 euro) and the pizza 7,60 euro. because we had to eat with the slemmerblock, they had not to be paid. the two specific 0.5 l each were calculated with 3.90 euro each. we found the prices just so reasonable (was also cheaper by the slinger block)."
