"What a great place. Great menu, great atmosphere and great service. Our waitress, Skyler, was a hoot. She was absolutely charming and most attentive. She took care of us like we were the most important people who ever walked in the place!! The food was delicious and a good dollar value."

"First time visit ,went In back door by parallel parking area. Confused as where to order ,finally walked up front and found registar and menu my daughter not sure what she wanted ,cashier was patient , she wanted a bagel but they were out so she ordered chocolate cake I got chocolate zucinni bread my order ready hers I was told their out as I receive mine, So they offered what's left she got a cinnamon roll mainly because no other option she wanted and was hungry. Cook at food window gave me a dime difference back but I didn't want the dime but did want a full menu available at 3 pm. Front room uncomfortably hot ,would have liked to have known drinks picked up at registar and food picked up at separate window I felt lost and awkward ,could have had better customer service. On a lighter note my daughter liked the cinnamon roll, zucchini bread dry and a bit over cooked for me ,macchioto not as sweet as I'm use to. Same on my daughter's vanilla frap. "a strange mix of high-end menu in a very casual environment. our food was really good and matched the price. we had the feeling that the service was missing. the waitress asked for our drinks order before we even settle. they have a complete service bar, a bottled beer and wine, but no beverage menu. the appetizer special for the night was an excellent spinat artichoke diving. I had a filet and my man went with the nativity; both very well. we hoped for dessert and sat and waited for a full 10 minutes after they cleared our dinner teller but were never asked or told about dessert. we have never been offered an additional drink. we both finished our first cocktail halfway through our appetizer and our glasses sat empty on the table for the rest of our meal. the waitress was very plaunic and friendly, but only not service-oriented. we would have had any more 2 cocktails and desserts, but they never offered."

"The venue itself is gorgeous. It 's the service we received during our wedding that was the issue. The venue event coordinator was nice up until the day of the wedding. She watched our wedding party like a hawk. 1st issue: the bridal suite in the upstairs area of the warehouse section either doesn 't have A/C or it didn 't work properly the day of our wedding. 2nd issue: we brought our own cigars. The event coordinator told us they sell cigars and cigars could be smoked outside. Once she saw us smoking cigars with a butane torch lighter (anyone who smokes cigars knows this is a common lighter to use for cigars) she said that it was a fire hazard and why couldn 't we just use matches. Thankfully one of my groomsmen informed her that it would take a whole book of matches to light ONE cigar. 3rd issue: Our wedding party was accused twice of bringing in outside alcohol. Never happened. My best man was given a flask (it was empty) He had sat it on the table while we were smoking cigars when the event coordinator came to question us about our use of a torch lighter. We had children in our bridal party so they had Hawaiian punch upstairs for the kids to drink. Our wedding party got accused of drinking up there too. 4th issue: While maid of honor was upstairs in the bridal suite getting everything picked up and moved out the event coordinator went upstairs and started questioning her saying you do realize this has to be all picked up and put back the way you found it, right? . Then started questioning her about the Hawaiian punch we had for the kids. 5th issue: We opted for a cash bar. I didn 't think that opting for a cash bar with LITERALLY mean a cash bar where no one could use a card and open a tab. Therefore ALL of our guests instead utilized the main bar. They shut down the bar inside the warehouse down SUPER early because of this. There were other issues we had with how customer service was handled but I 'm not going to continue to drill home every little thing that was said or done. I worked head of security for a major bar/event venue in Fort Worth. I have never seen customer service this awful. Especially if we had a couple that just shelled out $2500 to rent out a portion of our venue. We were not rowdy. We were respectful and courteous with the staff of The Mill. We did not receive the same level of respect back. Again the venue was beautiful. But the customer service needs to be worked on IMMENSELY. Therefore until they get these things handled I would NOT recommend holding your wedding at this venue."

"This place was on the small side with very limited seating but we chose to dine in. The prices seemed kind of high on the menu and we were hungry for crab so we ordered. The meal was filling but everything lacked flavor and there was a lot of filler like potatoes corn. It wasn't the worst meal I've ever had but I won't be going back."

"This place is a true gem! A real oasis in a desert of culture. Located in a shopping center, the entry is tucked away around a corner. It opens in to pure atmosphere and a relaxing setting. I was amazed at my visit. I've heard about this place and seen it tagged in my friends posts for years. It delivered in quality on every aspect in the posts I had seen! The customer service was on point! They let me procrastinate for a long time without rushing me. They suggested items and talked about their favorites. My first cup was a Cafe Latte. It was incredible! I'm not a coffee drinker. So it takes a lot to impress me. I was IMPRESSED. My second cup was a Breve. It also was wonderful. The food was top notch. I did not eat, but my friend and table mates did. They have an outdoor area with tables in front and out back. There is ample seating and even a bookable meeting room! This place has mega urban coffee atmosphere! You could easily slide this in to a neighborhood in Denver or San Francisco and it would fit perfectly!"

"Went to Red Lobster for my Birthday August 9. We were sitting with the menus for about ten minutes before our waiter came over to the table. Then he took our drink orders. We waited for drinks about 10 to 13 minutes. Then he come to table and say did yall see a white card? We like NO. He like that's the card I need to put yall order in. We looking like what. So another ten minutes go by finally we get drinks. Then he take our order. 30 minutes later our food come. No lie. We were there a very long time for nothing. But we don't have everything we ordered. He like I'm sorry I should have came and told you we don't have potatoes cooked it will be twenty more minutes. I'm like dude... you can't be serious? When our food finally did come out it came out cold. My Shrimp linguini was dry and cold. Very sticky. I'm like what is this? Never got the potatoes and yet paid for the whole meal. We went there about 1:30pm. The place was not full and it was clean. I just don't understand why the service was not good. He was a young guy but it seem like he wasn't ready for work. He only had three tables. One guy that sat behind us and two ladies that sat on the side of us. Everyone was ordering the all you can eat shrimps. After ordering we suppose to put in our next order...never got to do that cause this dude ghost. I hate that. Looking for the waiter or waitress. Once again paying for a meal I didn't get to enjoy. Ugh"

"Hit the order button at 11:37 on a Saturday night, and they kept deactivating the call button, they did this for 15min. Till I asked a car hop to speak to the manager, she finally buzzes in and tells me they can't make the order, cause they put the food up, all this time while taking orders from other patrons."

"My mother and I dined there on Father's Day. The staff were friendly and attentive, which was great. However, the chicken was dry and overcooked. I had the crispy chicken, which looked somewhat different from my mother’s dish and was also very dry and lacking flavor. Despite this, I tried to keep the visit enjoyable since my grandfather is no longer with us and my mother was feeling a bit down. I can't say the staff didn't do their best to address my concerns—they seemed genuinely helpful and kind."

"I love our local Texas Steak Express. To start with, the employees are always so friendly. They are always smiling and appear to enjoy what they do. I have never had any order issues. "Yum-o! I thought I had been here before, but it turns out it was a different place. I got the watermelon salad and added chicken salad. What a perfect lunch! The watermelon was ripe, with no seeds, so texture was just right. The mozzarella balls were a good touch. It's common to see watermelon feta salads, but this version was better imo. The chicken salad was very good. The flavor was mild but still flavorful. The chicken was shredded with no nasty gristle. The celery pieces were 5 as someone who hates celery, I didn't mind it at all this time. I LOVED the honeydew agua fresca. I ended up drinking one with lunch and buying one for the road! "If you go here sit in the bar (there's multiple tables in the bar area) . The bar staff is the A team at this place, everyone else seems to be in training. The seafood options are very good, the steaks are average at best. We went with a small group and it was pretty good. "The general manager seems to lack the necessary skills for her role. The air conditioning is frequently broken due to holes in the wall. She allows her friends to eat and drink for free, seemingly in exchange for positive reviews about the restaurant. Additionally, her communication skills are poor. She still owes me my last paycheck and avoids me whenever I try to inquire about it. A general manager should have a solid understanding of cooking and should not rely on friends for guidance. It would be better to follow the owners' recipes rather than her own. My husband hasn't received his paycheck either, and it's been nearly two weeks."

I went out of my way to go here on a cross country trip called twice and they assured me it's a regular item on the menu in fact when I arrived it was even on their menu board. I arrived at noon and no bierocks today at all. Why would a place that's known for their signature item not have them? I'll never be back in this area again so I guess I'll never know. "If you’re passing through Abilene you must stop and try Miguels. Their bar area and outside courtyard are amazing seating. The whole restaurant is so beautiful, they put so much detail into every square inch. We went tonight for dinner and had great food, drinks and service. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who lives here or just passing by. Try the Camerones and El patron margarita you won’t be disappointed!!"
